whenever I travel they ask if i have film or disposable cameras in my checked bags. I think they might get damaged. Diane Yah We leave tomorrow for Disney hooray. Hope to eat a Casey's hot dog and Dole whip. Cass and Rob talk about them on their live trip report. See ya all on Saturday.

Now I really am going to plant those tulip bulbs. I already have zillions of them, but each fall I can't resist planting more. I just love tulips after the year we lived in the little Dutch town of Pella, Iowa.

Oh, sorry. I was rooting for them last time we were at DisneyWorld. They won the World Series the last time we were there and then they were in the parade at MK.

Bob is stuck in Germany overnight.
He was supposed to leave at noon today Germany time but on his way to airport there was an accident on Autobahn, he got stuck there for 3 hours!

He made it to the airport in time, dropped off his rental car ran upstairs.... 11:35
Plane was supposed to take off at 12:05...
Nope sorry, you can't get on, gates are closed

Had to pay an extra $200 to get another flight out tomorrow morning at 9:30
and now is spending the night in the airport, not a hotel.

He'll get in tomorrow night at 5:30 our time.

Has to carry mail on Friday, empty his suitcase, wash everything, repack
and then we leave Saturday 6am.

Poor Bob
Somehow I knew that these 2 trips that close together wouldn't work so well.

I hope his jet lag isn't too bad for the cruise.

That's a bummer! I hate it when things don't go well in travel!

No one is home anymore. Only me on the thread. Just giving us a bump in case anyone is trying to find us - remember those days?

It's lonely out here now.

Am I the only poor soul (of the main DISers - not spouses or others that don't post here) that is working tomorrow. Even the people not going until Friday are off tomorrow. I'll probably work until 3:00 and then go pick up DS from school.

Cut the grass tonight (because Goose wouldn't do it for me) so that doesn't have to be done tomorrow.

I just have to start packing. Might start that later tonight or tomorrow.

Oh well. Gotta get some work done so I'll check back later.

I leave in less than 12 hours and I have not finished my DIS tag gifts, packing, or for that matter eating. I am having Kaitie's friend Markie put together the Dis tag gift and I am working on the packing and the fish extender. Nothing like waiting till the last minute. I am sorry I have been so lax on these boards but life has overtaken me and my energy is gone by the time the kids are in bed. I will see everyone at the port, I will be the one sleeping while standing. We are have FL tours take us to the port, they are picking us up at 8 am at BCV. So we will see everyone there.

Too bad Midwest changed gates at MCO, otherwise we'd all be coming in the same concourse.

Evening all. We are packed, the house is clean, and the bags are in the van. The only one we have left is the toiletry bag to finish in the morning. We leave for the airport in 9 hours.
I hope we have everything. I will check one more time tonight on documents and then again in the morning.
I guess everyone is busy finishing up last minute things.
I hope everyone has a safe trip down and I can't wait to meet all you crazies on Saturday.
