Bob is stuck in Germany overnight.
He was supposed to leave at noon today Germany time but on his way to airport there was an accident on Autobahn, he got stuck there for 3 hours!

He made it to the airport in time, dropped off his rental car ran upstairs.... 11:35
Plane was supposed to take off at 12:05...
Nope sorry, you can't get on, gates are closed

Had to pay an extra $200 to get another flight out tomorrow morning at 9:30
and now is spending the night in the airport, not a hotel.

He'll get in tomorrow night at 5:30 our time.

Has to carry mail on Friday, empty his suitcase, wash everything, repack
and then we leave Saturday 6am.

Poor Bob
Somehow I knew that these 2 trips that close together wouldn't work so well.

I hope his jet lag isn't too bad for the cruise.

Evening everyone. We'll Rick and I have been to Gatwick and dropped of our luggage and checked-in (just love Twilight Check-in). We have our boarding cards and are now back home having something to eat and doing last minute things.

Won't sign off for another couple of hours though.

Evening everyone. We'll Rick and I have been to Gatwick and dropped of our luggage and checked-in (just love Twilight Check-in). We have our boarding cards and are now back home having something to eat and doing last minute things.

Won't sign off for another couple of hours though.

What a drag!!! Well, I could think of a lot worse places than a Disney cruise to recover from jet lag.

whenever I travel they ask if i have film or disposable cameras in my checked bags. I think they might get damaged. Diane Yah We leave tomorrow for Disney hooray. Hope to eat a Casey's hot dog and Dole whip. Cass and Rob talk about them on their live trip report. See ya all on Saturday.

Off to plant tulip bulbs. We are supposed to have CRAZY weather here tomorrow--possible tornado? Yikes!! That field trip I am chaperoning to the pumpkin farm could be real interesting. I hope I don't get hit in the head by a flying pumpkin!!

I agree with V. Disney is a great place to get over that jet lag.
