Californication is just about to start on our TV's. There have been some mixed reviews over here.

Anyone got anything good to say about it...otherwise I don't think I'll bother.

Once you get past the cockroaches, ants, flying whatevers, it was fine. You may have a couple of drug deals in the parking lot and the room next to you may be one they rent "by the hour" , but other than that it was great.

Joking apart, Jeff, when we took our coach tour of the golden west I think we stayed one night in La Quinta in Pheonix. I have never seen such a huge, massive cockroach in our bathroom before. It was atleast 4 inches long. I was outathere, faster than you can say supercalafragilistic!

Jeff, you said y'all stayed at the LaQuinta where we are staying. Do you remember if it was clean? I don't need fancy for one night. I just need clean.

Sorry, only took two picture. One of the pool and one of the astronaut sign. It wasn't our destination, so I didn't take more. I should have took one of the room. I'd say it felt like a WDW Moderate though (same type of set up).

Just wanted to say hello to everyone before I leave for work - it's been crazy busy the last two weeks and I've been bringing work home at night and pulling loooong days at the office.

I've been looking over Cass's site and I know half of your names from the photos, but theres still some I get stuck on or some I know as e.g. Goofyfreak - so sorry Lori in advance if I call you a freak onboard - I mean it in the nicest possible way

I am the same way. I was completing my tag gifts last night and putting the room number on the correct one. Well I had them by name not disname. So I had to sit and think. Most of them I had correct but I keep getting Jen and Lynn confussed, sorry ladies, but for some reason you two need to switch dis names for me.

Just got caught up on my reading from yesterday afternoon.

Jeff - Welcome back! Your anniversary celebration sounded like ours...I think I made dinner in the crockpot and DH played computer after dinner while I watched TV.
This year will probably be about the same since our anniversary is on a Wed. night so we'll just have to celebrate early on the ship!

So, I didn't hop on and DIS last night because I was trying to make door signs for my Mom and Mary...and I have decided I'm just not very talented in the creativity department.

Can anyone think of any cute phrases I could use for door signs for them? I have some clip art of Minnie and Daisy to use...or if anyone can think of any other characters I could use, I could go in search of more clip art.

I will be cancelling my Palo brunch ressie for Thursday Oct 25th at 10:30 am today if anyone wants to try to snag it.

I'm not sure if that will work, but I do know that trying to transfer it to another DISser won't. I tried passing it onto Linda but it didn't go. DCL could not assist me in the transfer.
