A boring FO

I barely even remember when/how I heard about the DIS. There could be some interesting stories out there in KK land. Anyone willing to share their experience?

I think I went onto an old site for the Disney Moderate resorts and put out the question as to how much a Disney cruise might cost. Someone over there directed me here.

Sorry that's not very interesting but true. Hopefully there are some better stories to be told.

Mine is like a brown bagged lunch - boring.

I just googled Disney Cruise Info when I booked our first cruise and it gave me the link to WDW Info, the parent to this thread. I then clicked on the Message Boards. At that point, my life as I knew it was over.

Our was just as boring Jeff...it was just a recommendation from TheFatMan.

I need to buy a replacement battery for my laptop, anyone out there have a good, cheap place to get one from?

That has been me since last Friday. I normally get up at about 4:00 to go

then I go back to bed for 1 to 2 hours depending on the day. But since Friday I have been wide awake at 4:00. my mind just won't shut off.

Brilliant - who hasnt sent you a photo - we need to hassle them

Green cards get stapled in your passport and you don't given them up till to leave the US at the end of your trip. Disney wil check that you have them, but leave them in the passports. The white cards get given to Customs at Orlando. You will have Bahamas customs forms to complete as part of the documents you get from DCL.

I do photocopy my passport, so I don't have to worry about carrying my driving licence. Now if Disney had photocards, we wouldn't have to worry.

We got upgraded as well!! I haven't been on at all this past week, but we were in a gty 12 and now have a porthole in a category 9 on deck 2. Veryexcited about having a porthole. The last two times we cruised we had inside cabins--thinking I might miss the total darkness.

It has been one busy day. Mac had an unplanned play date this afternoon. I was sitting in my car at drop off pick up at school, reading my book when a neighbor knocked on my window asking if we could watch her daughter for 2 hours after school.

So we had an extra kid for the afternoon, but I still got 4 loads of done, I cleaned our banister railing, picked up the living room and computer room, and cleaned the kitchen. I finished all of my dis tags, and I have already showered.

Now I just have to take time to read back.

I feel exhausted just reading all that

I've been looking over Cass's site and I know half of your names from the photos, but theres still some I get stuck on or some I know as e.g. Goofyfreak - so sorry Lori in advance if I call you a freak onboard - I mean it in the nicest possible way

I have an idea for a non-us meet. How about we meet after the 6am call for immigration on the day we disembark? We could have coffee/tea at the berevage station on deck 9 before everyone else is up! Topsiders will be be open for patries and danish. It's also a great place and a great time to ring home (UK) from.

Well that's where we'll be!

I just compared my Cruise ship ticker to another DISer who has the same one and it really does move. They are leaving a week before us and their ship is closer to the Palm trees than mine is.

I know, I know, sometimes I just amaze myself.

One of the bosses are gone for the rest of the week so I might be able to DIS more during the day(the other boss is oblivious to everything that goes on around him...yes, he's that arrogant).

Hey all,
Just checking in. One of my teachers and her girls are going on the Nov 4th Wonder. I had to convince her that she didn't want to come into FL the day the cruise left. Well I did, and she is now taking the girls to the MK for the first time the day before the cruise. It's funny how people at work ask me where I am going on vacation then say"no wait let me guess Disney" and I always get the don't you ever get sick of it statement. Yet when they want to go to DL or WDW I am the first one they ask questions too. In fact I tease them and say "let me take my secretary hat off and put my travel agent hat on"


Can't wait to get on the ship and be among people who understand.

Yep, I'm with you. I get the same treatment as well.

I get the same thing. Sometimes my friends think I am upset with them or "down" because I am a little preoccupied--It's because I have the cruise and my list of things to do on my mind, but I don't dare tell them because they think I am obsessed and crazy, and they tease me a little--good naturedly of course, but still I get a little tired of it. They are jealous!
