Steve, Jeff answered for me I did specifically ask this because we may actually need to move our ressie multiple times if we don't go again untill 2012. I told the lady at the cruise desk we might not cruise again until 2012 and she told me I'll just have to keep moving the ressie until those dates come out. I'm glad we decided to do this because now if we do decide to go in 2009 we will be set for that and then we can always book another one when we are on the ship then

Does anyone know...is October the cheapest month to go? We have done both cruises in October but I don't recall if we planned it that way because of rates or not or just because we could get the category we wanted.

Mary was not thrilled with the ports of call. Our excursion of course was cancelled because of wind on Cozumel but I told her that we could always go and not get off the ship except for CC. She said we could do a back to back on the Wonder with a 3 and 4 day so we would go to CC twice during the months we wanted. hahaha

Hey all, I was going to post this on the main board, but figured I'd try here first...

Did anyone manage to get any video of Michael Harrison's act on the first night of the cruise at the 8:30 show? He picked my son Robert to do the ventriloquist act where he was making him say stuff like "I like Dolly's!" and stuff like that. I didn't have a camcorder with me and only managed to grab some short video using my cellphone. Would be great if anyone had anything else I could get a hold of.

Oh my gosh.... no I didn't but that was the funniest thing ever!!!! My kids are still dying about that one. I laughed so hard I thought I would lose my breath. I hope you find a copy and oh what a memory you'll have over that one!

Yes someone said something but it was not a KKer. His name was guy incognito. He really went off on Scott gaining the weight that he did and said some not so nice comments. A moderator got a hold of his quote and Scotts response and deleted them.

That is terrible. Just glad it is gone.

Alaska is one of the rumors out on the main thread. It would be in summer of 2009 though.

As for bookings, anyone who wanted 2009 had to book a 2008 date because the 2009 are not out yet. They are hoping by the end of the year.

I think most people are looking at a possible double dip in October 2009, if the dates work out right (it will be the last full week of the month which is usually the double dip week).

Gosh I wish I was like that again.
Not since in my early to mid 30's was I between 90 and 100.
Then when I quit smoking I gained and never got that low again.
I hover around 108 to 113 nowadays.
YUCK, I liked being thin.
But Bob likes me with more weight on.
He says it adds to my "PERSONALITY"

I wasn't feeling well yesterday, and about an hour into the flight I was cold, just couldn't get warm enough, but my face was hot. DH felt me and said I was burning up. Got to Denver and he wanted to just stay there and fly home Sun, I just started crying and said I just wanted to go home. Got home and took my temp, 104. Took some tylenol and just slept. I was praying during landing (2 layovers) that my ear drums would just burst to relieve the pressure. Today, it has been between normal and 101, so feeling a bit better. Needless to say not going to work tomorrow and calling the Doctor so they can say that I have a cold and deal with it.
I blame this all on Cozumel weather, probably not true but that is the point everything went down hill.

Know how you feel. I had a sore throat whilst onboard and I've now lost my voice. Rick now believes 'Disney Dreams really do come True'

I am off to bed. Not feeling all the well tonight. Did not get much put away or washed yet. Still have not looked at our pictures. Just want to go sleep before work in the morning. Hope you all have a good night.

Just uploaded the pics and still to quick fix them and put them on Humyo. Washing has been done, just ironing to do Also put everything away. Got to bed last night at about 8.00pm, couldn't stay away any longer. Slept until 9.00am in the morning. Wow...jet lag really hits me hard. Grocery shopping also done today, all set for work tomorrow.

Heather glad your group made it back to the UK safely! You guys must have been exhausted after spending the day at Downtown Disney and the long flight. I know I was exhausted and our flight was much shorter. Rachel thought it was great that we bumped into you guys at Downtown Disney and she got to see Nicola one more time!

It was good to meet you Cheryl. I know that Nicola is going to keep in touch with Rachel.

Can't help I'm afraid....the show was hilarious though.

So we are not talking all weight gain here, most of it (not all) maybe water retention.

I hope this is true....4.5 pounds gained.

I found my crocs. they were in a hidden compartment. It was a new suitcase and I packed them a week before the cruise and forgot where I put them. dah!


I wanted to say thanks to everyone for the dis tags. That was so much fun. I was like a kid at Christmas.

That was the best cruise we've been on. It was so great seeing Walt & Di and Cass & Rob again. We're looking forward to the next one.

Partied a little too much even though we didn't drink... We didn't sleep much.

I was so whipped on Saturday at the Magic Kingdom... I told Mike I need to go back to the room and lay down. We went back and I was out in about 2 minutes.

We went back about 7:00 and we were lucky to find a seat on Main Street for SpectroMagic.

Excellent as usual!

I was amazed at all of the wonderful new disers we met on this cruise.

It was a blast guys. Especially at Rockin Bar D.

I'll divulge...

I gained 6 lbs. I never gain weight on vacation. I usually lose.

The weird thing is... my clothes don't feel any different. Maybe it's just water weight. (wishful thinking)

Mike won't even get on the scale. I'll have to check to see if he's wearing his fat pants.

I'm so disappointed we missed that. Is that the one Nancy's kids got called up on stage? We could have gotten some great video of it.

Bob loved the stingrays! And the dolphins! and the parasailing (just not getting motion sick) and the food, and all the new friends....and Castaway Cay..... and hmmmmm I think he only hated that it all had to end!
