DH here....

Since Chris will not be here for awhile, I thought I would help with his little funnies he sends out.....

A man and his wife are awakened at 3 o'clock in the morning by a
loud pounding on the door.

The man gets up and goes to the door where a drunken stranger,
standing in the pouring rain, is asking for a push.

"Not a chance," says the husband, "It is three o'clock in the
morning."

He slams the door and returns to bed.

"Who was that?" asked his wife.

"Just some drunk guy asking for a push," he answers.

"Did you help him?" she asks.

"No. I did not. Its three o'clock in the morning and it is
pouring rain outside!"

His wife said, "Can't you remember about three months ago when
we broke down and those two guys helped us? I think you should
help him, and you should be ashamed of yourself!"

The man does as he is told (of course!), gets dressed and goes
out into the pouring rain.

He calls out into the dark, "Hello! Are you still there?"

"Yes," comes back the answer.

"Do you still need a push?" calls out the husband.

"Yes! Please!" comes the reply from the darkness.

"Where are you?" asks the husband.

.

"Over here on the swing!!" replies the drunk. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Lori it was nice seeing you at Downtown Disney too. I like your idea about getting the laundry done at Pop Centry. I think next time we cruise (hopefully 2009) we will stay over that Sat. night too and fly home Sun. morning. That is almost what happened to me anyways, I was almost bumped off of our flight home Sat. night.

Hi guys. We are home and unpacking. YUCK!!! We did laundry last night at Pop Century when we could use all the washers then dryers at once and it only took a little over an hour.
We were soooooo happy to see Harrison. He loved seeing his Daddy!!!!!!! He cried when my dad left.:sad1:

We had a great time with all of you. I have several pictures of different Dis families that I will put in photobucket this week for you all to see.
We are rebooked and ready for KK2!!!!!!

We got to see Cheryl and fam in Downtown Disney yesterday and that was a nice surprise. Julia loves Rachel.

We made lifelong friends and can't wait to see the KKer's again.

Thanks for making our vacation even more magical!!!!!

Thanks Andy for getting all the pictures for us KKers!!! I will definitely be putting them in the scrapbook or photo album. I hope your DD had fun at Homecoming!

Did you not get a copy of this picture on the cruise? :rolleyes1

Steve, Jeff answered for me :thumbsup2 I did specifically ask this because we may actually need to move our ressie multiple times if we don't go again untill 2012. I told the lady at the cruise desk we might not cruise again until 2012 and she told me I'll just have to keep moving the ressie until those dates come out. I'm glad we decided to do this because now if we do decide to go in 2009 we will be set for that and then we can always book another one when we are on the ship then ;)

I know I'm not quoting Steve, but how did you only manage a $500 deposit and not $1,000? Hope you remembered to include the kids on the ressie.

It should be $250 per person.

What were they offering to be bumped? Suz and I will always take that if it is on the return flight. Once, when we went to Playa del Carmen for Suz' 40th, they were offering $800 per person to bump. There was 3 of us. That would have been $2,400. We paid less than $1,200 for that flight. That would have been one more flight to Mexico and 2 domestic flights at that price. But, since we were only going for 4 nights, we didn't want to waste any time.

I was not happy coming home on Saturday, especially on the 11:30 flight. How was the weather at WDW anyways? I will make sure we stay until Sunday the next time. Maybe the laundry idea will convince Suz to stay the extra night. :thumbsup2

Enough of the "hopefully" for 2009 Cheryl, you're going. Hopefully Alaska will be offered. If not, we'll see you in October 2009 for KK2. :cool1:

Yep Jeff I got it :thumbsup2 , I thought I had thanked you but maybe I forgot to and remember you told me how you printed them in Key West, but I wanted to tell Andy thanks for doing this for us too along with the other pictures he captured :thumbsup2 I will print those out too, especially the one of us still docked at the port to put in one of the albums for this trip

Steve,

Yes, you can move it as much as you want. The price will be whatever the prevailing fare is, less the discount.

Now what you could do is cruise in Oct '09 and then do WDW in Feb '10. Just a thought.

Jeff

Thanks for the responses. I'm relieved that I can move it at will. As far as the Deposit. I didn't put the kids on this one since it was a placeholder situation. I told the DCL representitive that I would add the kids when I moved the ressie. I'll have to pony up another $500 then.

Was it you Jeff that made up the CD's? My wife told me that someone had told her about it but she could not remember exactly who had done it. I'm planning to look at it tonight. When I am putting all the pictures together. Thanks for the CD, it was a very nice surprise.

Hey all, I was going to post this on the main board, but figured I'd try here first...

Did anyone manage to get any video of Michael Harrison's act on the first night of the cruise at the 8:30 show? He picked my son Robert to do the ventriloquist act where he was making him say stuff like "I like Dolly's!" and stuff like that. I didn't have a camcorder with me and only managed to grab some short video using my cellphone. Would be great if anyone had anything else I could get a hold of.

Thanks!

Jeff I PMed you about the "bumped" flight. It got to be long.

The weather at Downtown Disney on Sat. was mainly overcast and humid and we had a few real brief sprinkles. We met our friends that we had cruised with last year and walked around with them and we went to lunch with them at Saratoga Springs. It was great to see them again and we had booked the night flight so that we would have time to meet up with them. The more I think of it next time I am sure we will stay over that night so we can relax and go home Sun. refreshed. I do like the idea of getting the laundry done so quickly like Lori did with being able to use multiple washers and dryers at once :thumbsup2

Al will probably be the hard one to "sell" on 2009 but if Alaska would be a possibility he'd be there! We'll keep working on him!

I didn't get a video, but I do have to say that it was a hilarious act and your son was a real sport.

I have a solution for this....sit back, close your eyes, ask Octavian whats for Dessert, and ask Greg for a Ocean Blue!! Then holler at Bob for a glass of wine and a pizza and come back to reality!!!

Mark

edit...just noticed I posted using Mackenzies sign on...should be under DIZNEYCRAZY4

:lmao:
Too funny Mark! I was reading the post and thinking "who is mickeymouse04?"
and then "how does this person know I had Octavian and Greg for servers?"
Then I read your signature and edit:rotfl:

Called Bob and told him of your solution.
He laughed and said "I've got to get on those boards and say Hi to Mark and some other people"

:thumbsup2

Second do you realize the amount of sodium that they put in that food! So we are not talking all weight gain here, most of it (not all) maybe water retention. Thank you so much for responding to this one. I just told Scott about the post and he will be addressing it after he is done giving Mac all her medicines.

Ok, I'm trying to find the original post to this one?
Did someone say something bad?
Did I? When I mentioned I needed to wear my fat pants?
I can't figure out who is the troll?

Hey. :cool1: :cool1:   I gained weight on this trip. :cool1: :cool1: I just weighed myself and had to come down to tell everyone. No wonder I am feeling bloated. I broke 100. For those of you that met me you would understand why I am happy about that. I am at 101.5. Only 4.5 pounds more to go before I break my pregnancy weight. So I would say another cruise with you all might do it. I gain a total of 9.5 pounds. Please don't let it all go away by the end of the week.

Woo Hoo!:thumbsup2
Nice, Carrie!

Gosh I wish I was like that again.
Not since in my early to mid 30's was I between 90 and 100.
Then when I quit smoking I gained and never got that low again.
I hover around 108 to 113 nowadays.
YUCK, I liked being thin.
But Bob likes me with more weight on.
He says it adds to my "PERSONALITY":rotfl2: :lmao:

hi from disney quest!

Now when I went to the rebooking session, Jocelyn said that if you don't put the kids in right away, you won't get the discount for them. Also, if space fills up for the cruise you want, the kids may not be able to be added even if there is a bed for each in your room. I'd call DCL today and get it squared away. Don't want to see you lose the discount on the kids or not have them travel with you.

I did not do the CD's. I know we got 4 of them in the DIS Tag gifts. I did the photo album and bag with the KK logo on them.

Hi tablemate.

Missed you at dinner last night and the night before that. Will miss you tonight and the next 720 nights until we cruise together again. :sad1:

Yup, Cheryl, Bob too.
That's probably the only way he'd go right now, not that he didn't love this cruise, but $$$$$ we spent:sad2:
Doesn't bother me much, I'd spend spend spend! Ha! I already do!
