I just imported all the CD's from DIStag onto my ipod and plan to listen to them tomorrow at work. Can't wait!

I have all my pics saved onto my hard drive. I tried burning them to CD and took them in to be printed but my CD's were bad :headache: It was too late to go back today so photo developing will have to wait until tomorrow. :(

I tried putting some of my pics on photobucket but the "bulk uploader" does not seem to be working. I am too tired to fight with my PC tonight - I'll have to do it tomorrow.

Good night all - I hope everyone made it home safe and sound.

Hey all checking in,
We got in at midnight last night. I have had a miserable cold since Thursday. Not sure if it was all the wind in Coz or not that caused it. I had a huge fever flying home last night, and landing was horrible on my ears, still haven't popped.

On a better note it was nice meeting all of you. Slo thank you for the kind messages you left on my door.
Jeff, I think you're right about the other board, maybe we should come up with our own signature pic.
Your welcome for the messages :goodvibes
We walked past your room several times, and I was going to leave more notes, but I didn't want you to think I was stalking you :rotfl: We were in stateroom 7032, so we were pretty close to you :teeth:

I'm sorry to hear that you weren't feeling well at the end of your trip:guilty:
How are you feeling today? I'll send a lot of PD your way to feel better soon:wizard: (hopefully you already are).

 I do believe that was me! :)

I'm sorry you were feeling so sick! It really was pretty bad out there at times.

We're at French Quarter right now but I'll get some of those pictures up when we get home! :) Jeff I really got some great ones of you guys at the Stingray encounter!!! We had a blast on the cruise, maybe we'll see some of you on our next one!
Boy, I wish I would have known you were a DISer sooner so I could have introduced myself. Thanks for letting me know that was you :goodvibes I hope you had a wonderful time, and it sounds like you are still on vacation :cool1: I hope you have a great time on the rest of your trip:)

Anyone else still feel the ship moving?

I did a bit yesterday, but today, since this morning it is non stop!

Help, my house is riding the waves:eek:

I remember this from last cruise, I think it lasted for a few days before I got my land legs back
I'm so glad you mentioned this, because my DH and I have been feeling the same thing - it's so weird:upsidedow !!!! I'm glad that we're not the only ones.

 Wow, I feel better.

anyone else wearing their fat clothes to work tomorrow?;)
You bet I am!!!! ::yes:: I definitly gained a couple of inches on this trip
I promised my 9yr old DD that we would eat pizza at midnight, and we did a couple of times. We also took advantage of that ice cream machine at Goofy's Galley (to many times  ) Having Krispy Kreme donuts at Topsiders was another downfall of mine - I had one everyday  But I shouldn't blush - we had a great time, and I'd do it again in a second!!!! :thumbsup2

A few beer tasting pics...

I soooo agree. That was such a great part of the cruise. I also loved running into people that I knew. It was very nice. I wish I had found time to talk and get to know a few of you that I really did not see except for the first day... and I never saw the star baby, Kira at all!

You know Susan, looking at your pic on Cass' site, I think I actually stood behind you in line the last day of the cruise at Shutters. I thought I recognized you but I didn't want to scare someone if they weren't who I thought it was.

Before we left the ship, our concierge took us into the Walt Disney and Roy Disney suites. They were soooo big. We didn't have the camera charged or I would have sent pics.

OK DH and I were wondering what floor these were on. I am assuming no one was occupying them at the time. Shoot I should have asked Guest services if we could have a tour, of at least the Walt suite.

I am actually thinking of making a magnet for our stateroom next year that says "Walt E. Disney Suite II". Mind you we will be on deck 2 in a Cat 9.

I wasn't feeling well yesterday, and about an hour into the flight I was cold, just couldn't get warm enough, but my face was hot. DH felt me and said I was burning up. Got to Denver and he wanted to just stay there and fly home Sun, I just started crying and said I just wanted to go home. Got home and took my temp, 104. Took some tylenol and just slept. I was praying during landing (2 layovers) that my ear drums would just burst to relieve the pressure. Today, it has been between normal and 101, so feeling a bit better. Needless to say not going to work tomorrow and calling the Doctor so they can say that I have a cold and deal with it.
I blame this all on Cozumel weather, probably not true but that is the point everything went down hill.:sad2:

I have a solution for this....sit back, close your eyes, ask Octavian whats for Dessert, and ask Greg for a Ocean Blue!! Then holler at Bob for a glass of wine and a pizza and come back to reality!!!

Mark

edit...just noticed I posted using Mackenzies sign on...should be under DIZNEYCRAZY4

First of that was way to harsh so back off....second obviously you aren't taking in account of the fact that each person is different. Seriously, read some posts this isn't abnormal. Take into the account that he is from AZ and we were dealing with some very humid temps that we West coasters are not accustomed too, I couldn't get my wedding ring off after the first day and it is normally spinning around my finger. Second do you realize the amount of sodium that they put in that food! So we are not talking all weight gain here, most of it (not all) maybe water retention. By the end of the week he will be back to normal. So before you even think about judging people, maybe consider the other reasons that could be behind it. Oh and go and find another thread to be a troll on.

Thank you so much for responding to this one. I just told Scott about the post and he will be addressing it after he is done giving Mac all her medicines.

I am off to bed. Not feeling all the well tonight. Did not get much put away or washed yet. Still have not looked at our pictures. Just want to go sleep before work in the morning. Hope you all have a good night.

:grouphug: feel better soon

So my brother called tonight. I talked to my 3 yo niece and told her that her cousin got to see a baby turtle and also got to hold a turtle. She said that she wanted to hold a baby turtle. I said tell Daddy he needs to take you on a cruise to see the baby turtles, and she did. Guess who is next to take on a cruise list? My work is done!;)

Hey. :cool1: :cool1:   I gained weight on this trip. :cool1: :cool1: I just weighed myself and had to come down to tell everyone. No wonder I am feeling bloated. I broke 100. For those of you that met me you would understand why I am happy about that. I am at 101.5. Only 4.5 pounds more to go before I break my pregnancy weight. So I would say another cruise with you all might do it. I gain a total of 9.5 pounds. Please don't let it all go away by the end of the week.

Jeff, I think you're right about the other board, maybe we should come up with our own signature pic.

I got a bit sick on Wednesday. Woke up with a terrible sore throat and a bit sniffly. Fortunately for me, I get over viruses very quickly and by the time we were on CC I was all better.

Anyone get on their scale:eek:

I knew I shouldn't have done that:headache:
Knew those clothes were tighter. 3 and 1/2 pounds more:sad2:

I'll have to find some fat pants to wear to work tomorrow!:guilty:

I gained 5 pounds over the week. About what I expected.

Anyone else still feel the ship moving?

Yes, the whole family has been complaining of phantom motion. Crazy.

How about some mini reviews:

Negatives:really disappointed with the food in the dining rooms and room service, could not manage getting acclamated to the time change so we got up late 3/4 of the cruise, getting sick on the last couple of days, missed the first 2 nights shows, cat 11 was small (expected) and didn't have enough storage for the 3 of us (somewhat expected),the weather in Coz (ugh)and the heat in KW and GC, didn't get to spend more time with the KK group.

Positives: had a great server team and table mates, DD finally braved the kids clubs the last few days of the cruise and loved it, loved the extra time on the ship (had only done the Wonder), when it started raining at CC and DH and I just stayed in the water, loved the rocking and rolling of the ship when it left Coz, discovered Cove Cafe (yum), tried a Konk Kooler (not bad,DH didn't like it though), Bahama Mamas!, meeting all of you that first day.

The positives certainly canceled out the negatives, and it was a Magical vacation.

We learned that unless there will be an actual shuttle launch we will stay at the Hyatt, after a long flight it was looking very good. Avis was very good, will use again. Hoping to do the Eastern next, of course that is after next years cruise throught the Panama Canal, may book another while on board and wait for the new ships come out when DD graduates (2011)

That was a good mini-report. I'll give you our view of the points that you raised: We liked the food. (Except Mickey's Island Jam Breakfast) And thought the world of our servers. We did a few late mornings too, but mostly by choice. In my opinion, you didn't miss anything by missing the first nights show. I slept through a great deal of it. Everytime Brent started speaking my eyes would start drooping. After a few nights I began to think that he was not the Cruise Director after all, but the entertaining as the ships Hypnotist!

Cat 11 would have been unbearably small for us. We were upgraded to the verandah and while we loved it, I don't believe that it is something that we will be spending a lot of money on in the future. I'm thinking of following in Jeff's footsteps and trying to score a secret porthole room.

In future cruises, I will probably not place a lot of importance in the stops. I really wasn't impressed with any of them but CC. I was just as happy to stay onboard. I really freakin' love that ship!

My kids learned to love the Kids clubs as well. At first they were indifferent to them but towards the end they were begging to go.

I never got the the Cove Cafe. I should have made the time to do so but there was alway something else to do.

You'll love the Hyatt! That was a great first night. I'm not sure that I will do that myself in the future though. I'm going to be doing a lot of shopping around to see what the best option for us will be. Going with Disney or going it alone. I keep thinking that I may have been able to save about $500 by doing things myself.

We'll be doing the Eastern on our next cruise too. That is unless Disney comes up with a better itinerary. I'd love to do a double dip but since the weeks that we will be availiable are limited, I may have to just make do.

You can still be Tart Girl if you want to :)

I also hope we can keep this going - y'all are so much fun to chat with!

Pete and I both "felt" the ship moving a bit today...hard to get those land legs back.

We went to visit Pete's parents today (they had been cat-sitting for us) and it sounds like they might be thinking of going with us the next time!

We rebooked for 2008, but we're pretty sure we're going to change it. Who else?

Yep, Rebooked on board. I can't wait to get back to that ship!

Hi Everyone..:goodvibes

I just did some clean up, and deleted that post. I also deleted anything that quoted it. I believe it had to be done.

If this happens again in the future, don't hesitate to use the report button...Down below, the bottom left...

Glad you all enjoyed your trip. We left the boat nice and clean for you

We didn't rebook. Spent lots of money for awhile and Bob is trying to buy a house.

I'm sure we'll sail again another time though, he really loved it!

But he said next time we'll spend more time relaxing, skip some of the ports....like Key West and just stay on and lounge around.

Even though we're not rebooking, I'll still check up on those of you who are and read your threads from time to time.

See that you do keep up with us! We'd miss you terribly!

Scott gained 12 to 15 pounds. :scared1: I have not weighed myself yet but I doubt I gained anything.

Wow!

So is anyone else in cruise mode still. We went to this little tea bar and cafe for lunch. We walked out without my purse. Someone was yelling at me to tell me I left it behind and then the owner reminded us that we had not paid our bill either. :confused3 Boy are we out of it. We all came home at about 1:30 and slept until 4:30. So now it is back to unpacking and more laundry.

Lori - I love how you got your laundry down. Maybe we will have to stay a night after next time just to do our laundry.

That's flippin' hilarious!

Definately something to be happy about!

I have been in the SPR the 2 times I have been on the Wonder and they are great, if you can score one grab it.

In future cruises, I will probably not place a lot of importance in the stops. I really wasn't impressed with any of them but CC. I was just as happy to stay onboard. I really freakin' love that ship!
I felt the same way too about the stops....CC is always the highlight, but I wished that the day at sea was after to give time to pack than before, but of course those darn logistics get in the way

I never got the the Cove Cafe. I should have made the time to do so but there was alway something else to do.
Just think of it as an expensive Starbucks on board, but well worth it when you need the fix.

You'll love the Hyatt! That was a great first night. I'm not sure that I will do that myself in the future though. I'm going to be doing a lot of shopping around to see what the best option for us will be. Going with Disney or going it alone. If we are only cruising we will more than likely just pay extra to stay at the Hyatt. You understand after that flight from CA how tiring it is, I feel for the UKers. Of course there are some really great hotels in the MCO area that are cheaper. Definately do the air and hotel yourself. Try the one way rental as well, it was convient and cheaper than using the transportation through DCL, and you are on your own time schedule. We used Avis this time and they are onsite and worked out well.

We'll be doing the Eastern on our next cruise too. That is unless Disney comes up with a better itinerary.
I'd love to do a double dip but since the weeks that we will be availiable are limited, I may have to just make do.
The double dips do look fun but I was looking at the Christmas one in Dec 08 and it would have been over 6000 for just DH and I in a verandah, nothing lower than 4000 for the other Cats. That is more than what we paid for the EB Canal cruise next year. Actually I get 3 days on CC next year:banana: After that it will be probably 2011 before we get to cruise again. Looking to see what the new ships are going to come out with. Who knows maybe we will get a ship on our side of the world. Also a suggestion, Dreams Unlimited Travel is great. We used them for all of our cruises, and I noticed that most of their special priced 7 day cruises are Easterns, so you could save some money there.
