I thought you had a ton of Disney Visa rewards you were using this trip. Let the kids splurge.

We just made our last conversion. With the $200 OB rebooking credit and $50 AAA credit, and then adding our Disney Visa rewards ($658), we have over $900 for charges.

Guess I might get a smoothie or two.

This is too weird! I just converted our last points to equal 650--I left 7 points behind. With our OBC from Disney and USAA, it'll be $950. I will get a smoothie too. No who am I kidding, it's drink of the day for me! And pictures at shutters....

We too just transferred over our last bit of points on our Disney Visa. We have $345.00 to use. Wow - you must have used your Disney Visa ALOT to get so many! And I thought ours was overused! We'll probably use all ours in WDW before the cruise. My DH is just pin crazy!

You're so right! Those pictures at Shutters will leave a big dent, that's for sure.

Sistah P, we had ours out on the verandah but it didn't help. We have no video once we passed the first night until we reached St Martin.

Oh no! Don't tell me that. We bought a new camcorder, one with no disc or tape so hopefully it'll be ok. I am kind of concerned about my digital cam though. Sometimes it can be tempermental...and it's not that old. I bought it at the Virgin store in DtD when I left my camera on the ME bus from the airport last summer. I was so bummed!

Speaking of cameras....didn't I read on the boards that you should put your camera on the verandah (or on deck) to get used to the humidity before turning it on? Am I crazy?don't answer that

The adjustment to humidity should help with the fogging, but I think you may still have issues with the cold to hot/humid on the mechanics. Not sure.

I have heard that before too. But I honestly don't remember it being a problem with our camera on our past cruises. We'll have a new camera this time around, so it will be interesting to see what happens. Maybe it won't be too humid! Here's to wishful thinking...

My rewards are high because I pay all of our bills with it and then pay it off each month (so no fees). And remember we travelled across the country this summer, so I put everything on it. I also went ahead and got a 2nd one for rebooking the next cruise so I can get that 6 month free financing and not have confusion.........

I never carry a balance on my card. In the 22 years I've had credit cards, not once did I carry a balance. I don't think the card companies are making anything off me.

I think that's $10,000 in purchases right? We use our DV for just about everything. I go into Hallmark, and purchase one card, and don't hesitate to put it on the DV!! The clerks must think I'm crazy! And, they're right!
