The Good News is that you are leaving from New York, that's not a long flight. You probably don't even have to make a connection.

I don't remember when Jeff is going. I wonder what he's been up to.

Plenty of time to get onboard though. Probably with the crush of all of us trying to be the first, you'll walk right on at 2pm.

I do have to make a connection, but still I should be there in plenty of time, but just to make sure I don't want to miss our meet, I'll check up where everyone's cruise staterooms are or plan a second catchup meet.

And read my last post about Jeff.

How can any of us overlook Jeff not on here?

candyman

No one forgot him, it was noted yesterday that he was missing from the list. There's a few people still missing from the list.

He's probably just busy with those dang numbers! :rolleyes1

Love the pictures showing how Kelsey is growing up from year to year

This is K-7 for Kelseys school pictures.

I haven't told Sean's school yet.
This is only his second (and last ) year at this school and we've never done this before so I don't know how they'll react.

It should go well though I think, this is a very progressive and independent small private school. Best school around this area.... well also one of the top notch in the country (so they tell us anyway), We love this school, never met so many kind, friendly, upbeat, tolerant smart teacher, staff, and kids anywhere else.

Only thing is it's Sean's senior year. And his is taking some tough courses.
He'll be sitting on deck on the cruise getting sun and doing lots of homework.

I was sheepish about talking to Stuart's school. But in the end they were grateful that I 1) spoke to them early, thus giving the teacher time to put something together. 2) even bothered at all. We have a high number of migrants in this area. They tend to pull their children out of school at will and drop them back in whenever as well. By going with a independent study program the school still gets their money and I still get my vacation. Next year, Stuart will be in 2nd grade and I will need to pay closer attn to his testing schedule. That's when they start testing to determine if the school is performing up to standards. They get real sticky about missing school during that time. (especially the smart ones, gotta keep the curve up!)

Robin :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: to you. I will keep your daughter-in-law and your dad in my prayers :grouphug:

AAAAAAAAAHAHHHHHHH!!!!!

This has not been a good night. My son just called and said our daughter-n-law is spotting and is hoping she is not losing the baby. She lost twins before Addison was born. She goes to the DR. tomorrow at 5.

Say a prayer for us. :sad2:

Just got another call. My Dad got combative at the nursing home and they just took him to the alzheimer's phsyc ward at the hospital.

He was trying to pull mom out of bed because they wouldn't let him sleep with her. He said "Come on, we're going home"

He then swung at a nurse and threw a blanket over the other nurse.

I was planning on going to bed early, but I might as well stay on the boards...
I sure won't be able to sleep.

Sorted under Ellis' bed and one bookcase so far:thumbsup2 - threw away 3bin liners full of old toys. 3 huge toy boxes and 2 more cupboards to go.

I'm not sure I've never taken Rachel before. I've only had a pedicure once myself. I just know it will be cheaper to get a manicure/pedicure here than it is on the ship. You could try calling a few places around you for prices.

How much do you think they would charge to do a little ones fingers and toes. I am thinking it would be a really neat thing to do with Mac right before we leave. Some mommy daughter time, that we probably won't get much of on the trip.

I was really naughty the way I told Ellis' teacher. I wrote her a letter stating that I had already mentioned to the Head before Ellis started at the school etc and I was just confirming the final dates:rolleyes1 I havent asked for homework while he's away either (irresponsible parent:rolleyes1 ), but I will be taking a hnadwriting book on holiday - they are learning cursive at the moment and he's just starting to join letters now so he can practice that on the flight etc - 9 1/2 hours to kill. I'll also do numeracy with him while we're away - I knew all this classroom asst training would come in useful one day:rotfl:

You and Carrie are so motivated!
I'm so jealous!
I can't get s*** done lately.
I start so many things and don't finish. I wish I could go back on my Adderall for ADHD, worked so well but the high blood pressure thing keeps stopping me from taking it, so..... nothing I can do about it. I try.

I'm working on #12 dis tag gift. will finish it today and start #13. My boyfriend and other friends keep telling me to hire someone to finish it that I'll never make it, but because of my "issues" I am determined I'm going to finish on time and they'll be wonderful, and you'll love them and I'll be proud to say I finished something, even just one project, that I started!:thumbsup2

going to watch dvr'd episode premiere of REAPER, it looks good!
And finish tag gift #12.
I'll be on later.

It's my day off, I have plenty planned....
I'm always making lists and more ideas and notes everywhere.
We'll see what I really get done.
Bob says just do one thing at a time. So I'm going to finish #12 and not do another thing till it's done.

Someone check on Jeff!

Oh, and to catch up before I go:

Where is Linda? Miss her too!

Congrats to everyone with upgrades!:thumbsup2 :cool1:
Steve yours is awsome!:woohoo: :yay:

Carrie great photos of your girls!

Nancy, very sweet things you said of everyone.
We're all great and wonderful in different ways.
You are the best!

And great Wisconsin mini meet photo :thumbsup2

I'm all caught up so I'm off to get some things done before going to work. Talk to you guys tomorrow

Dont put youself down. I do it out of necessity not cos i want to.

Its only because I freak out every so often when the house reaches a certain point of messiness and I have to blitz it or go insane.

I'm sure your tag gift will be fab - I hope mine meet up to all your high standards:sad2: - sounds like you've all put a lot of effort into them. I on the other hand have had to shop for small and light items -hope you wont all be disapointed.

I have days where I can barely make dinner then I have others where I just cant stop. It helps me having a deadline or event to work to. I just keep thinking that by the time we're home from our hols it will nearly be xmas and I havent put a single thought into a single gift yet:scared1: (well, actually I got my baby nephew his today - but thats the only one I've bought.

I like having all my decorations up and sorted by Dec 1st, I start 23rd November so thats my next deadline.

Carrie amazes me though - She wears a cape with a big S on the back;)

And when is Elizabeth's wedding?

Lindy Loo went on holiday and Liz's wedding is Oct 5th. Wasnt sure how long cards took to get to USA, so I sent it 2 days ago. I know my postcards always take forever to arrive so I thought I'd better post early.

That's good that they'll give her work 2 weeks prior! We can't get ours until the last day they are at school and it has to be turned in the day they come back, or we can get it the day they come back and it is due that Friday. But there is no way Hayden can double up on homework the following week. How's the weather been in WI? As soon as it cools down here I'm confiscating all summer clothes so I can pack! But even next week we're looking at 80 degree temps. The one time of year I wish it would cool down to pants weather and we've been in the 80's and 90's.

Gonna go watch Private Practice and see if it's any good. Good night all!

Abby

We are in the same boat around the weather.....normally by the end of September we are in pants and we are still in shorts.

In Ontario our temperatures are normally running now around 15 degrees celsius (say around 60 degrees farenheit). We are having 100 year high temperatures with days in the 30-35% celsius (85-95 degrees farenheit). I was hoping to have a bunch of clothes packed by now but they are still wearing the clothes. I never thought I would hope for cooler weather
