I am done for the night. Very little sleep last night has finally caught up with me. I am so tired I can not see straight to read the screen and I can not type correctly either.

It appears that DCL is still having difficulties with their website. This afternoon it took me many tries to print off the online check-in documents. I did see that my room number has not changed any.

Scott#1 is back. I agree with cap'n scott....thats why i am candyman now.

Thanks to all the well wishes, I am about 95% better, which is ALOT better then where I was a week ago. After playing catcher half of my life i thought it would be the knees that went. This is about the third time I have had a pinched nerve like this . It is allways in the same spot. At least Carrie's pack mule is better for the trip.

Congrates to BG on getting the casts off. Your cabin mate is looking very forward to the trip. I noticed she was pulling the suitcases out of the garage and taking them into the house. I noticed she is only taking a carry-on and a medium sized suitcase, you would think she would need more than that for all the close people take on cruises?

Clarification--our houses share the same drive way, and her garage and front door opens towards our house.

I do have to have things just right on my plate. Cant stand sauces making my chips go soggy but I like them over my steak etc. I'm just wierd - I'll happily join your club

This cruise has not been easy to get ready for I am so far behind.

We do not have suitcases yest, I have not completed the paperwork or made my personal Itineraries. My biggest problem is that I have not done the shirts, door magnets, or finished my distag gifts. I have to buckle down and just do it. The last cruise was easier because it was in February and that is a slow time of year, after the holidays and the kids are in the rhythm of school already.

With Dave working the 2nd job it is not easy getting things done because I feel overwhelmed with home problems and kids stress. This vacation is really needed.

JuDY - I felt like that last week. Just tackle one job at a time. Write a list of everything outstanding then pick a job and do it. I worried about my t shirts for AGES, in the end they werent too bad to do at all. I spent waaay longer worrying than actually doing them!

Could you rope the kids to helping with the tag bags etc? Make it a family effort.

Tick it off your list then pick something else. I am about half way through my list so far.

Thanks for asking Rose. There has been no change in his condition. He is still in a coma and there is very little brain activity. So far he has had 5 surgeries in two weeks..

Sorry to hear this Nancy - I'm still praying for him.

We've always requested a 4 top after our first cruise. We had terrible tablemates that time.

This cruise we're going back to having tablemates. But from what I hear, it is an Australian that I won't be able to understand anyways. I'll just smile and nod.

I found two really cute dresses at Ann Taylor today - both were clearance items ... one was $15 and the other was $20. Talk about a steal! Now I just have to make sure the weight goes down in the next three weeks instead of up.

I logged 8,450 steps today, so I guess that's a start.

My pc is driving me crazy again. I have barely got online all weekend.

Keeps freezing on me and just stopping



I am having a major trying on session later to see what fits - I have about 20 pairs of black trousers - fingers crossed one of them fits


I have a question - do people wear clothes more than once? I have a denim skirt I pack - (doesnt crease and it still fits ) It would go with 2 differnet tops I'm taking - would it be ewk to wear it 2 evenings?
I wouldnt normally but space in case is getting tight.


Next question - Daybag for boarding list - what have I missed?

I got it and will pass it on to her. She should fine. I got a Garmin GPS for xmas last year. I named her Suzie. She's never led me wrong yet. Type in the address and she takes you right to the address, turn by turn. Shes the only women that I dont mind getting told where to go!!!!!!

That is funny. Rob bought a Magellan GPS this past summer. We call her Maggie.
