They were the size of small Buicks back then weren't they? :rotfl2:

Yes, I remember our first one, it was huge!!! But I also remember our TV back then too. The massive cabinet that held it! Same with our 8 track player, it was in this HUGE cabinet :sad2:

Hi Jeff, Hi Carrie, Cass you still there?? Lori??

Sorry I was doing Dis Tag stuff and now I am off to ellipticalize :yay:

Night Lori!

Hey Jeff, did your dad cut little numbers in your hair cuts? Just wondering.:rotfl2:

Steve, I always thought God had a good sense of humor.:rotfl:

Yes, Yes He does!

Well that's it for me tonight. The boards are moving sloooooooower than ever or it's our older computer. I'm off to get some sleep. I'll try and get on tomorrow before working second shift.

Good night All. I'll probably be popping in and out. I'm playing ToonTown with my son.

Was it me or did the boards go down for a little while. I was trying to respond to someone and the whole thing gave me an error then I could not even pull up the home page at all.

So instead I went scrapbook shopping. :rotfl:

I didn't notice but I have been gaming so I would not have

Off to bed. I am not sure if I am tired or just bored but I figure DH is gone I better get sleep while I can. Goodnight all.

My son has been having a heck of a time in school too. He does not like the long school day (Just started 1st grade) and his teacher is very structured. (we are not. He's really not used to it) .

Poor thing - Big hugs to him too:hug:

Avery had a rough time going to school this year....lots of screaming and kicking about going. But it took her about 3 days to calm right down.

But I sympathize as there is nothing worse then dropping off a child somewhere when they are screaming/crying that they dont want to go. My Better Half would say things to me like "just tell her that she has to go" but its a lot more than that. On the first day of school she had to literally have her fingers forced off me as she was gripping onto me so hard.

I'm sort of used to it (I am a trained classroom assistant so we see it each term), but its never the same when its your own child. He just stands there his shoulders drooped and tears running from his eyes - he looks so lost some days - no tears today though - I kept him busy telling me all his classmates names over and again

You are trying to get a video game to work? Karen, I didn't know you played video games. I don't have a DS. Kids only have regular gameboy.

Its not a video - its a thingy that you plug in the back of the ds to download games:rolleyes1

1000!!!!!!!!

Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess a little of Jeff is rubbing off on me, but here are some fun stats on our thread::)

We have about 39 KK families
Approximately 75 adults
59 Kids
Youngest is Kira at almost 1 and the oldest is Tony at 26.
We have 25 boys and 26 girls and 8 that are unidentified.

Wisconsinites = 9 families
UK’ers = 6 families
Virginians = 3
Ohionites (or is that Ohioans?) = 3 (Not including the Tart)
We have 2 families from each of the following: Canada, New York, California, & Missouri.
And one family from each of: Arizona, Texas, North Carolina, New Jersey and Maryland.

The rest are either homeless or didn’t tell us. :confused3

Hope I didn't miss anyone.

Cool figures Nancy - but you forgot to list the one Australian:rotfl2:

Wow that is incredible! We now know 5 percent of the ship

That is soooo cool!:cool1:

So, I think this question has been asked of everyone back a few months, but how did everyone meet there significant other?

Suz and I worked together. That's how we met.

Neil and I met on a plane. I was going on hols with a friend to Gran Canaria and he was at the same hotel / resort for a week with his mates.

The Who's Going Page has been updated once again! :woohoo:

I knew I should have waited to print it off again:rolleyes:

Hey guys,
Like I said DH bought a bunch of glow bracelets to give to kids (big and small) on the ship. If you would like a some for your family please PM and let me know how many and where you would like them deliver them to. I think I will be bringing 200 of them onboard.

Oh how kind! - I have a pack of 5 for Ellis packed in our suitcase already. Cant pack any more cos of the luggage weight allowance - every ounce counts:rolleyes:

Laura and I met on a cruise.

How lovely!

I had a little glip myself last night. I thought it was my computer so I switched over to the laptop.

Good morning Ms Karen.
I see the error of my ways. I did forget our one and only Austrailian in my stats and I apologize profusely. Forgive me?

Janice: Glad you'll be making it to our meet. Chuck will be a little disappointed that Mark won't be there. Chuck took a huge liking to Mark. :)

Was the DIS down early this morning? I notice our usual posts from the UK are minimal and I couldn't log on until now.

Is anyone else having problems falling asleep at night because you are thinking about the cruise? YIKES!! It's all I think about.

I'll be DISing today (if the bosses leave) but then that's it for 4 days. We are going to a fall festival that we've been going to since Kristin was born...23 years ago. Send some 'dust stuff' for nice cool crisp autumn weather for us plz.

I'm showing Jen, Karen, Lori, Nancy, and Chris on right now.

Cats got you tongues?

Don't worry about forgetting the Australian. She probably told you, but since you can't understand her, you just smiled and knodded. ::yes:: :rotfl2:

As for the weather, I think you will have a perfect weekend. A little on the cold side this weekend at night.

I need more pictures everyone. You know, the ones with palm trees swaying in the breeze, gentle waves of the ocean, hammocks, mango soup......ahhhhhhh.......
