I'm sorry I'm failing the Ohioans! But I'm back now. LOL Five weeks is going to fly by so fast.:scared1:

Robin here. (From dyerneeds) In case you didn't know, I started my own screen name. There is a story that goes with the screen name. I'm not sure if you have been keeping up on the boards. ;)

Welcome back. :woohoo: We were wondering where you had been.

You'll have to go down to Trenton, Ohio. Our daughter graduates soon and has just opened a photography studio with her boyfriend. :thumbsup2

It's called Luman Imagery. We were just down there a couple of weeks ago.

Glad to have you back. :)

Hi di. Good to see ya.

Here's our wedding pic.
We'll be celebrating our 32nd anniversary on the cruise.

Delta did the same thing to us. We are flying out of Rochester, N.Y.. It took two phone calls but I did get a better arrival time. The departure time stayed the same. Going back there was only a small change. Are you going down on Friday? Have you been through Atlanta before?
LL

We are flying down Friday night from Dayton. Our original departure time was 6:00pm but we're now trying for a 5:15pm, ultimately getting in at 9:30. We can't make an earlier flight because of school. DH is off all day and I'll get off at 11, so our plan was to pick the kids up after school and head straight to the airport (a 5 minute drive from our house). I have only been through Atlanta once and this is one of my concerns. The flight I'm trying to get only has an hour connection time in Atlanta. Think we can make it? Our original outbound was changing in Cincinnati, which would have been easy.

We're pretty limited on flight options unfortunately. The return I'm trying to get is non-stop. Our original return left 2 hours earlier than the non-stop and got in an hour earlier but now it gets in 2 hours later! If we can get the non-stop then we'll definitely get a day room at the Hyatt because it doesn't leave until 7pm Sat.

Those Atlanta connections are a pain, aren't they. We've never had to do it. It's such a short flight, we are usually able to get a nonstop flight. But we really have to shop around to find them.

OH MY FAVORITE!

my favorite too. Really I love all sweets. I just had a piece of lemon cake my daughter won at a cake walk at work. It was sure good. I know I should not have eaten it but that will be my treat for the week. Diane

Robin-

I missed the story of the screen name but I knew it was yours.

Thanks. :flower3: I've been kicking and screaming my way back into the routine of school, sports, dance, and summer being over, but I think today is the first day I've finally accepted that whether or not I like it, this stuff is here. It must be the 60 degree weather we had today.

How far is Trenton from Dayton? Congrats on her opening her own studio! Will she do location shoots or just in studio? We've only ever had in studio sessions but an outdoor one would be awesome! I never did make it over to DSW!

Abby

Is it OK to be happy that the "L" is moved? :lmao: I know it would have been really neat to see but to me, getting to the ship early is top priority!!

DITTO. I felt the same way. We saw a launch on one of our other
DCL cruises. I was more concerned about the traffic driving in.

I do feel bad for the people who didn't get to see it though. :sad1:

Where are you flying out of? If we could leave earlier in the day Friday then Cincy or Columbus would have been better options for us. Dayton has lousy schedules.

Trenton is about 35 minutes SW of Dayton. She quit her job at the Shoe Dept. and she is doing very well for just opening.

I know they have done a couple of location shoots. It's possible. They do a lot of outdoor shots around the studio.

That's awesome! We've only been married 9 years so we pretty much still look like our pictures, except for some wrinkles and gray hair popping out. Can you tell I'm in denial about getting older? :rotfl2: I've been going through a mid-life crisis of sorts this summer. So I got my first tattoo, and am planning on getting my motorcycle license and maybe a Harley next summer. But none of that is bringing back my youth. :rotfl2: DH just sits back and watches my craziness, probably hoping it passes quickly. I'm only 34 so imagine what'll happen when I turn 40. LOL He's 43 and hit hiis 40's with no problem, so he just thinks I've lost my marbles. Maybe I have. :lmao:

We're flying out of Akron/Canton. It seems we always have good luck with them. It's an easy drive, about 1 hr.

We're planning on taking Cassie and her boyfriend to Florida next year. I'm hoping we can find a nonstop flight for them out of Dayton. :scared:

35 minutes is nothing! Is she going to get a web-site going? I'm really interested in this now.

BTW, congrats on the continued weight/inches loss! I lost 10 lbs early in the summer but have fallen off the wagon. I need to get back on it though these next 5 weeks.

Just a quick hello from West Virginia!!!! I just got caught up and now I'm going!!!

Robin, love the wedding photo!!

I gotta agree with you. Although, since I was going to be on a Disney bus, My guess was that I'd have no prob with getting on that ship.

Oh, to be 34 again. ;) If you're happy with your spouse and you're both healthy, enjoy it. It's only a number.

We're 52 and 50 and we're having a ball. Age doesn't affect us. I have to say I'm not loving what it's doing to my body... :rotfl2: but I excercise to slow that down.

Mike always gets disgusted with me because I'm always complaining about being overweight.

I guess my DH and your DH will be sitting on the cruise together thinking we've both lost our marbles. :lmao:

They are in the process of designing their web site as we speak. Cassie just talked to me about it today.

I'll send you a PM when I get it.

Ok. I'm sorry. I have to ask. What kind of tattoo did you get? :)

I may go through a mid-life crisis, too.

OH, I forgot all about putting my weight loss on KK. OOPS!

Probably because I didn't lose any.

BUT, I lost 7 inches in 2 weeks. :woohoo: :woohoo:

That scale can say what ever it wants... as long as the inches come off.:thumbsup2[/quote

Wow that is great. 7 inches. muscle weighs more. you are doing great. keep up the great work Buddy. :yay:
