Oh dear - Ithink I am a wee bit tipsy - 2 large mojitos - mainly consisting of alcohol - (hik!) and then followed by 2 merlots

I deviated slightly from my erlier meal choices - I had skins for sarters plus half of Neils chilli chicken bites, then I had cheesy mash instead of baked pot, and instead of a cheesecake I had 3 puddings - apple crumble/crunch type thingy with icecream - very nice and cinnamony - is cinnamony a real word?

something swirl cheesecake - cant remember the flavour - just remember eating as fast as I could so Neil didnt get any - i stabbed him with my fork if he got too close

warm choc brownie with icecream - I could have licked the plate - dont worry Jeff - I said " could have" not "did"

If you're ever embarassed to be on the same table just say to the waiter - "Sorry - she's australian and I've never met her before in my life"

I'm full and rather drunk and its only 8.20pm!!!!!! If this is what parties do to you then I'll do one every day

I'm off to bed now folks to sleep off all the calories

Nothing wrong with a runner. Most techy people are, aren't they? Or is that the other way around, most runners are techy in nature?

DS isn't as much into sports as he is his legos (or anything building or creating) and computer games. We just sign him up and take him to the games and practices. We're those bad parents that force their kids into sports. No, he actually likes playing sports. He is definitely not as athletic as some of the other kids. You can also tell who has older brothers. Don't think he's into it as much as I was when I was his age. Luckily he won't be going to the public HS here (2,400+ students). He'd have a hard time making the team there. This school produces good players - several college scholarship recepients. Actually the league he is in now is the "farm" system for the HS. Starting in 5th grade they tackle and use the HS's plays. There are 8 K-8 schools here that feed the HS. Each school has at least one team in the league he is in right now, some with 2 or 3. I think in all, there are over 200 kids in the First/Second Grade program alone.

The private HS we're sending him to isn't that bad either and I think won state the other year. So he'll have to grow and practice if he wants to play there. Now Private and Public play together, so he could play against the neighbor kids.

That's an interesting theory about runners being techies. I was suprised at the stamina that he showed. Now that I lost my 25 pounds, I was thinking about jogging again. (It was hard on the knees with the extra weight) Maybe I'll take him around with me. I actually wouldn't mind a bit of an athlete, as you point out there are scholorships out there to be had. I've been telling my wife, If we wait until HS to think about college, we're too late.

In my personal opinion, no matter what the kid did, Pluto shouldn't have behaved like that. I would hate to have to explain to my little kid why Pluto was chasing a little boy all over Main Street BUT that's just me.

Yep the "L" is off. They rescheduled it a while ago.

I'm with you, I hate all the reshuffling that they airlines do nowdays. I bought tix for my wife to attend a convention in Orlando an have gotten countless emails from expedia about schedule changes. Luckily, none have been significant enought to cause problems, but it is a pain!

Is it OK to be happy that the "L" is moved? I know it would have been really neat to see but to me, getting to the ship early is top priority!!
