Good job Stuart!
Nothing wrong with a runner. Most techy people are, aren't they? Or is that the other way around, most runners are techy in nature?
DS isn't as much into sports as he is his legos (or anything building or creating) and computer games. We just sign him up and take him to the games and practices. We're those bad parents that force their kids into sports.

No, he actually likes playing sports. He is definitely not as athletic as some of the other kids. You can also tell who has older brothers. Don't think he's into it as much as I was when I was his age. Luckily he won't be going to the public HS here (2,400+ students). He'd have a hard time making the team there. This school produces good players - several college scholarship recepients. Actually the league he is in now is the "farm" system for the HS. Starting in 5th grade they tackle and use the HS's plays. There are 8 K-8 schools here that feed the HS. Each school has at least one team in the league he is in right now, some with 2 or 3. I think in all, there are over 200 kids in the First/Second Grade program alone.
The private HS we're sending him to isn't that bad either and I think won state the other year. So he'll have to grow and practice if he wants to play there. Now Private and Public play together, so he could play against the neighbor kids.
