How long are the 21 days good for?

When are you arriving again? Is it one week before the cruise or two?

When do you plan on coming back to the US for WDW? Can you get non-expiring tickets? That's what we just bought - 10 park hoppers, with waterparks, etc, non-expiring. The last set of 7 days we used for 3 years and still have one waterpark day left.

We arrive 13th, cruise 20th and fly back 30th. 6 days before, 3 1/2 days after:rolleyes: - guess I didnt think that through well did I:confused3

Morning all

BAD day today, well yesterday actually. At last I got report from surveyor for the builder to quote from. OMG they expect the builder to take out the bottom kitchen unoits and skip BUT KEEP the work tops taps sink and all the top unites so they can be re put in !!! WHAT the kitchen from Magnet, isnt even made anymore so my choice is :

1. Get bank load for £6,000 to pay for top half of the kitchen

or

2. Have a mis matched kitchen !!!

I am soooooooooo mad, im steaming!

I am now in the middle of an email loss adjuster asking how and why they have come to this conclussion.
I am sooooooooo upset, ive been crying most of the night and stressing. Thats been driving Wayne amd at me and we had a row ( we never row) but I feel so worried........ its a man thign he worries about getting new trainers for the holiday etc.

anyway needed to share, with my mates........ thanks I feel a bit better " off loading to you all "

better get on with my e mail now, havent got long left on the PC and I need to send it today,so they read it Monday

have a great weekend everyone......... L x

Stick to your guns - they probably pull this on everyone - even if a few agree they must save £££££ - dont stand for it girl - just think of that old headmistress - you won there and you can do it again.

Don't worry about packing. We won't even start until the Saturday before.

Well, All I can say to that is.....................:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

You asked for it.

Carrie - Oct. 6th - B-day
Scott - Oct. 19th - B-day
Mackenzie - Oct. 21 - B-day (5th)

Thank you!:goodvibes

Not sure how I feel about this one. Scott just read that you are making fritata's and he said "awe she is making fritatas now, am in love with this women"

So what exactly is a fritata, I guess I need to make them to earn is love back. :rotfl:

You might call it a spanish omelette?

Just chopped up fried stuff with eggs over it all.

Today I put in chicken, beef, onions, mushrooms, sliced boiled potatoes, gorgonzola cheese, sweetcorn. - anything I find in the fridge or cupboards that I fancy:rotfl:

Dont think you'll win medals (or much love) on an omelette:lmao:

Thats me done for now - I'm off to the bathroom to make myself presentable for this evening. - it takes a while these days:lmao:
We've guests arriving at 6pm and we're starting drinking at 6pm so I'm sure I'll be in no fit state by 10pm:lmao:

We're going to a favourite restaurant of mine...and yes Heather - I intend to have cheesecake...the trouble is the bread pudding there is to die for so I'm having that too:rolleyes1

Diet restarts (AGAIN) tomorrow.

I think I'm destined to be overweight:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Have fun folks...

oh......and by the way, if you can leave the thread just before the next milestone I'll be really grateful so I can steal that too!:rotfl:

Around 27995 will be just fine

Off to run to the bank, then to Savers:banana: (I love that store) and then to a 5 year olds birthday party, which we will have to leave early to get home in time for the kids to be dropped off and talk with their mom about Kelsey.

Looks like we might meet on the 23rd now. How about that?? :thumbsup2

Yep, that is correct. We are moving it to the 23rd. Same place and same time, just a new day.

Everyone who was going should have received a PM from me.

Again, thanks to everyone for being flexible with this.

From the responses I've gotten, it sounds like it is a better day for all. :thumbsup2

What about doing your WDW stuff on the front end and then your Seaworld and whatever else on the back end? You could then hit Kennedy as well? Just a thought since you only have 3 1/2 on the back end.

Well, All I can say to that is.....................:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

I didn't want to tell you that it will most likely be Tuesday or Wednesday. I know how that would freak you out Karen. We'll do the essentials early (snorkel stuff, backpack, mugs, cameras, etc) and do the clothes a couple of days before. We've been through this already, so it goes pretty smooth. I think this past January was the earliest we ever packed and that was the Sunday before our flight out on Thursday.

Are you coming?

Hi Jen, We were planning on a day at Pike Lake with SIL/BIL but I'm not sure that will happen anymore. Maybe an autumn trip to Milleagers in Racine and a quick trip to Unkorkt (Wine Diva's job).

Yes, please come for a visit!!

Hi Heather. You are correct. And I also hope to be emailing one to the Taggers this weekend. I have it saved in excel but am hoping to get my pdf writer working again so the UK'ers can get one too (and anyone else who doesn't have excel). Jeff will assist if I can't get mine to work. :yay:

Jen, it's a good thing when you have to alter your clothes...as long as it's in and not out. :rotfl2: (I know your's is the "inny").:thumbsup2

We're running errands this morning, and then over to our friends' house this afternoon. Just hanging out, playing board games...maybe a bit of poker in the evening.

It will be good to get the Tag list - I'm still working on mine...

Actually, the altering I need done is up! You haven't met me yet, but I'm pretty short - only 4'9"! My friend and I have a side bet on which grade in elementary school DS will be taller than his mom!

Oh boy!! I won't be the shortest one--I'm only 5 feet!!

Big hugs to you Linda--I know how stressful house things can--our new roof almost drove me to an ulcer! :scared1:

Looks like I am all by myself--am actually at work so I better go do something productive--like try that new Cabernet that just came in...:rolleyes1

Maybe we'll get Cass on here. It also depends if Steve is around or not. We should get some UKers in another hour, but I may be sleeping by then.

If Cass or Steve would show up, we would get this done.

Sorry guys, I was watching Stargate in bed :goodvibes

So what do you think, is Mickey trying to push Minnie off the ship?

2005_0128_072402AA.jpg

I knew it! Minnie IS holding Mickey back and he just realized it now! You go Mickey! Get rid of the wench :thumbsup2 :lmao: :rotfl2:

That's actually sunrise.

I don't have any of the sunsets. Don't know why. Probably because of being at dinner all the time.

That's the ONE thing I hate about early dinner. Rob and I usually sit on those comfy blue chairs on deck 4 and watch the sunset every night. It was one of my fave parts of the cruise. Well, if you see me running out of the dining room with camera in my hand, you will know where I am going! :thumbsup2 :lmao:

We don't turn our clocks back here in the US this year until the 1st or 2nd weekend in November. They changed the dates this year.

I think we talked about that in spring when we changed and you didn't.

Yeah, it's a little later this year! In 2005, it was the day after we got off the ship, we were at Royal Pacific Hotel in Universal and I was sick as a dog. I didn't want to get out of bed that morning, so we called for a late check out so on top of the extra hour for late check-out I also had an extra hour because of turning the clocks back :thumbsup2

Cass, we're Stargate fans too! I'm kind of sad SG-1 is over. Do you watch Atlantis too?

Yeah, we only have about 7 episodes left before we are done. :sad1: I watched the 1st season of Atlantis but didn't really enjoy it. There's something about the lead actress (can't remember her name at the moment) that really bugs me.

We like Atlantis OK, SG-1 was better.

The actress you don't like does grow on you, but there was a big shoot-out at the end of the last season, and we don't know if her character is going to make it. Sam Carter (from SG-1) is joining the cast of Atlantis this year, so we'll be watching.

Enjoy the last few episodes!

Are you coming?

Sorry V, we had a change in plans. I always make an autumn run to Milleagars and when we do, I will absolutely stop in for a quick visit.

See you on the 23rd or sooner.:thumbsup2

FYI...The Travel Channel has a Disneyland special on right now with a special on WDW on next.:yay: :yay: :yay:

Looking for something fun for us to do after the cruise. Anyone know where I can find info on Cirque du Soleil at DTD? I googled it and I couldn't find the right one.

Does it still exist at DTD? Anyone have a link for me?:confused3

It's still there - called Le Nouba or something like that. It's located at the very end of the DTD WestSide... just across from House of Blues and next door to Disney Quest.

We've never been - not really a big fan of Cirque - but I'm pretty sure you can buy tickets online.
