It's always great to have all the boxes gone! I can't imagine what a nightmare it will be whenever we move from here, we have lived here for over 14 years now and all 3 of us have way to much junk.

We're pretty much settled in. I am just waiting for my kids to start school so I can re-organize everything we've unpacked. Rob still has to unpack the basement, but all of the boxes that were in the house are gone! Yipee!

oh, i say so. you have a nearly 1 yr old daughter.
we have a nearly 1 yr old grandaughter.
but we sure dont feel old.

Cass thinks I keep too much, guess I'm too sentimental and want to hang on to stuff all the time.
You should hear her sometimes, I think she's screaming inside when I say I don't want to throw it out lol!

Do you watch your grandkids? How many do you have and their ages?

I have two grandkids I babysit every day. Elijah is 9 and Asiah is 6. They go back to school in two weeks. Then I will only have them a few hours in the afternoon. My daughter is an ER nurse. I have two grand girls in Austin Texas. That is about an hour away. Their names are Meghan who is 9 and Lauren who is 7. Plus we have 4 in 29 Palms California. Chynna who is 16, Lyndsey who is 13, Hayden who is 9 and Shelby who is 8. We dont see the ones in California that often. Diane

Hmm, I don't think you're that old, you can always have kids at a young age like my parents. They aren't even 60 yet.

I'm not really hurt or upset about it... I just don't want Dave to feel left out when he sees all the fish extenders. Maybe I'll make little treats for him and stick them in ours when he's not looking. I may not even make a fish extender at this point though, I don't know.

Do we know when the wine tasting is going to be? I'm afraid it's going to end up conflicting with our rasul and as much as I love you all I think we won't miss out on that

If it makes you fell any better I'm playing tag but not making a fish extender. So you guys won't look out of place without one at all.

What a small world. I drive through 29 palms all the time. It is one of the places we use as a bathroom stop. It sounds like you enjoy your grandkids very much. I hope that when the kids are old enough to have their kids that we end up with a large family.

Diane, is your family in 29 Palms a Marine Corps family? We visited friends in 29 Palms this summer. It is so hot there...and isolated.
