Just got home from 6 1/2 hours at St Luke's Hospital with DH Dave. He started having chest pains, sweats, and arm numbness and drove himself to the hospital. After hours and hours of test we find that his heart is in great shape, so are his lungs, and they has absolutely no idea what is causing the pain. They feel that it is probably a chest wall problem, now he needs to see his internist to follow-up on the problem. I am so relieved that it is not his heart, it was really scary getting that kind of call at work.

We are so busy right now that the days are just flying by, My mom's 70th B-day is Friday, Kaitie's 13th is on the 30th, our 16 Anniversary is the 31st and Sean's B-day is Sept 13th. Can you say overwhelmed!! School is just another addition to our list of things to deal with.

Well I thought I would just say hi and commiserate on my good/bad day. Good that he is not really ill and bad I spent 6 hours at the hospital and can't wait to see the bill.

I dont know their movies but their version of the "12 Days of Christmas" is hilarious - we have to listen to it every year.

I cant remember all of the days but I know the last 5 are:

5 golden tuques
4 Pounds of Back Bacon
3 French Toasts
2 Turtle Necks
and a BEER in a tree.

You didnt offend me - Canadians are used to be the butt of jokes from the US. We just get so excited about being mentioned by Americans on TV. My daughter's favourite Kim Possible episode is the one when she comes to Canada...of course Canada is portrayed as a place where it always is snowing but thats OK. She was just so excited that Kim came to Canada.

Scott here...Thanks for understanding. KP is one of LilDD's favs. She loves to dance to the theme song, even in the middle of Target. She also loves the Naked Mole Rat song.

So Van Halen has finally announced a tour with David Lee Roth. I want to go but they are in Toronto on our Thanksgiving....wont go over with teh folks if I have to leave dinner early to go to show.

Who do I take with me - I might call up an old friend from high school who I saw them with in 1984 (WOW that was a long time ago). Or I might take Spencer - he loves rock music.

I cant believe they are charging almost $200 a seat - ridiculous.

Any other rockers out there??

Avery had a big Kim Possible Birthday party this year - we had games relating to each of the main Bad Guys. It was a lot of fun - other than it was really hard to get Kim Possible stuff. Disney stores in canada dont carry anythign that has Kim on it.

She is so upset that the one Kim activity on the cruise ship is for 8 to 9 year old - we are going to try and sneak her in with her brother.

I am a purist - DLR is the only Van Halen singer for me. Not a fan of Van Hagar.
