speaking of the calendar. with it being sent to the printer, plans are now underway for our girls of the kk calendar. who wants to be the first girl to sign up? with all of the weight loss im sure you girls cant wait to show off.

Did you get a strange sensation when you stood right near the edge? - Neil and I both felt like we were being drawn over the falls when we watched the water going over the edge - really peculiar?

yes. we got a little dizzy if you look too long. although i was busy struggling with robin as she was trying to push me over the falls.

Definately Donald Duck and the way he mucks about. On one of Rick's videos at the Tropicalifragilistic Deck Party, he falls flat on his face. Rick has a chuckle when he sees that.

Sorry Scott, I missed you. I'm working a stretch of days and it's always hit and miss with me. I'll come on and catch up then get back to work. At home I try not to spend too much time on the computer as the kids and Laura miss me.

Mine had to be the time I saw a lady standing in the disembarkation line in her husbands shoes, and a nightie. Her DH was competely dressed but it looks like someone forgot to leave some travel clothes out of her suitcase for the next day. He was just smiling away and she was wearing a "Bitter Beer Face".

Great Story! I'll have to think about the QotD I can't come up with anything just yet.

Nancy thanks for posting this! I have been looking at the different brands of transfer paper and wondering which is the best to buy. After reading about your good results with Avery I think I'll buy those.

This is too funny - I am just skimming the pages and I keep seeing the word AVERY in regards to the iron ons for the shirts - and of course my daughter's name is AVERY. so I would agree with "After reading about your good results with Avery ".....I get good results with Avery too (LOL)

And thank you so much for the card from Heather too, and we even managed to have a breif chat, when I called from work on Sunday... I have to use the works phone as we have no land line and the mobile bill is HUGE!!! Being on the phone to the insurance compant, loss adjusters and builders for so long sure adds up !

The update on the house is... surveyor is out Thurs to see what has to be done! ie walls knocked down etc.... we have been told we are out for at least 6 months! we have rented an apartment (only a 2 bed one on the 3rd floor... nice and trendy great for a couple but not too good for a family in practical terms!)

We are soo looking forward to the holiday!

I will phone Heather ( if this is ok mate?) and get an update on the dis tag stuff nearer the date. Sadly my first lot of gifts are now very very wet!!! so Iwill have to go shopping again! I wish we had booked a palos brunch, our time slot was just HOURS after being flooded. and as we have no internet now, we will have to wait till we board and beg a space then.

I sooo miss chatting to you all.... Im borrowing the computer at my friends house ( she goes to Florida on 29th Sep ) I will try and get on line now and then.

HELLO EVERYONE!!!!

I just wanted to pop in and say hello as it appears that horrible rumors are running rampant throughout the boards about my sudden and extended absence! I have not been kidnapped by the Lost Boys, I have not been sold into slavery by Captain Hook, I am not in prison for getting rid of Wendy Darling in a jealous rage, and no, (alas) I have not run off and eloped with Peter Pan!

I have just been extremely busy both at work and at home! My last few weeks have been taken up with baseball playoff games, camping, family reunions, more camping and finally a wedding this coming weekend! Once this week is over, things should slow down a little and I should have much more time for my dear friends here on the boards!

Thanks for the concern! All is well and I promise to get back on board more often starting next week!
