Robin any more pictures of the Falls? Rachel and I are enjoying them. She thought the view from your hotel room was awesome.

i even have a recipe for Guiness ice cream - not that we drink much at our house. ;)

o.k. that I could pass on--couldn't even drink it in Ireland!! :upsidedow
But, I would love both of those sorbet recipes--they would be perfect for wine, I mean book club! :rolleyes1

Congratulations Ms, 20,000!!!!

I was going for it... oh, so close... I guess I'll just have to party like it's 19,999!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I kill me... :lmao:

Off to bed ... Victoria I'll send you those sorbet recipes tomorrow. I should be home early since I've got a doctor's appointment early in the afternoon. A little extra DIS-time before I work out (hope).

Good night everyone! :goodvibes

Ok Victoria and Brenda this lemoncello sounds gooood. Do you just serve it over ice? I think I might have to get some to take up to my sister and brother-in-laws next week.

YUMMY! Vodka is my favorite spirit and champagne is my favorite wine--lemoncello is my new favorite liqueur. I am going to have to start experimenting!!

I've had it served over ice and I've also had it served chilled. I prefer it chilled but not served over ice. The ice cubes dilute the flavor (I guess I wouldn't have that problem if I'd drink it faster).

It's a lovely liqueur - great for the summertime, especially if you enjoy lemons.

If you have it in the freezer you can just serve it "up." It is also lovely over ice and you can also make a mean martini (lemon drop) with it. It is also very soothing when you have over-indulged with food. Not that any KKers would do that! BEWARE: It is 30% alcohol so a little goes a long way! ;)

oh yea. but the only thing i worry about is all the women checking out rob , chuck and myself while we are lifting furniture. i know how you girls love your diet coke breaks.

Yeah, we'll be checking it out alright. Just so we aren't wasting our time on plumbers cracks instead. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

How could I forget the lemon drop???

I am ashamed...OK...enough boozie talk. I gotta get up early tomorrow so I must catch some sleep.

See ya later!

Speaking of books... have you read The Historian? I'm not usually a big fan of the "vampire" novel but this is a fascinating "fake" history of Dracula with a great mystery thrown in as well...I couldn't put it down once I started reading it.

I'll definitely have to PM you later about Harry. There doesn't seem to be a way for us to talk about it in the Yahoo group without other people getting spoiled. So short of starting a new group just for HP, I guess the PM is the way to go.

By the way... I meant to ask earlier... how in the world do Florida alcohol sellers get their booze if the stuff can't be shipped across their state line? That's really been bugging me on a purely academic level. ;)

Brenda--just so you can sleep:

Florida alcohol sellers get their stuff from distributors who are licensed in their state. They can "import" the stuff since the state has records on them. Since we are a retailer we cannot do it. You also can't send stuff person to person. It really sucks--we lose business over this all the time--especially around the holidays when people want to send wine baskets or a wine-of-the-month gift. Nighty-night.

Victoria,

And...maybe I was lurking in the wings and decided to be nice and let you have 20,000 since I snagged 10,000. :surfweb:

:cheer2: CONGRATS WINE DIVA!!!:cheer2:

Brenda-did you see both Nadal and Federer were beat this weekend in Montreal? Hoping to see Federer defend his title in New York!
