October 20th 2007 Western Magic Part 5

Now that I have caught up I need to go do some cleaning and I just got litte DD allows me to. I have 3 hours before DH gets up and 4 hours before the kids get here. So really 3 hours to clean because Mac and I are having PJ morning and I will still need to get ready.

I have a change basket. I started it back in March. So I am a little late on it. And it is only me who puts money in it. Scotts change goes to paying allowances. I don't do very well I am afraid because I tend to pay for everything with my debit card. My hopes is to cash it in in the first week of Oct. I want enough to cover our mud room. If I have anything above that then I will be so excited. I started counting it 2 weeks ago when the kids were counting their banks. I think I was at $60 without counting all the pennies. So I hope I can make another $30 between now and then.

We do that also. We have been saving for like 2 years now and we rolled our quarters and we have 350.00 in quarters. But we all put change in there, even the kids. It will pay all of our excursions...and we start for the next major vacation right after we get home.

Tyler is dressing up as well and he was hoping to get everyone together **KKer Kids** together for a quick picture dressed up.

last year when we cruised they had Jack Sparrow that you could get autographs and photos with so we could even get one with him!

That would be very neat. He just thought it would be a great picture and another time for you to all meet up again. I just am not sure when you will all do it since everyone has different dinner times? Maybe right before the deck party?

He is at his dad's this week. Camping in 100+ degree weather. He'll be back on the boards fighting with his brother for post leads next week.

One laud of folded and put away already, 2 soap dispencers refilled and cleaned, and money added to my basket.

I do more then change in my basket. If I have money left over on Fridays from my allowance the previous week I put that in the basket also. I am so proud of myself. I put $12 in there.

I use swiffer dusters. Then I go over them with pledge or some other dusting spray to help keep the dust from sticking to them as quickly. I use dust spray on my ceiling fan blades as well.

Susan keep those pictures coming! They are beautiful! Is that a walk way going down to near the base of the fall on this picture. My mom and I went to Niagra Falls aboutt 22 years ago and I don't remember much about what was there (my brain is too crowded with memories of Disney vacations ) other than it was beautiful. From what I remember the Canadian side was much nicer then, I remeber beautiful gardens. Did you go to both sides?

Rachel and I see Mickey and Disney characters in the clouds all the time.

The walkway is the behind the falls tour. We didn't go on that but I wanted to take their picture. We did go on both sides. Canada side was so much nicer with beautiful flowers all over and so clean. I am not sure that I will do the American side again really.... it will now be a let down.

Living room dusted and vac.

Sorry you all probably think I am weird telling you all this but I have not been motivated to clean the house in weeks so I am kicking butt today. That and older 2 have very high expectations of a clean home (thanks to thier mom) but yet they won't help clean at all. Go figure. I am just hoping I don't get any comments about what I don't get cleaned today.


That and I am adding to my post count by doing this.

I have the swiffer dusters I just hate doing each slat. But I have never sprayed them. I might have to do that this time. I think this might be a chore I give to DH this week.

Ok I have popped in here and there and haven't really introduced myself. Since everyone seems to have gone to bed I thought this would be a good time, with all of the posts I felt like if I did it then I would be interuppting something. I have really enjoyed reading all of your posts, well some of the posts there are so many. And I think Cass has done an awesome job on the website. I hope to meet some of you on the cruise, although DH is shy..well wary of meeting strangers I think it has something to do with the job . DD is also very shy due to having a disability, but we are working on that as well.
So here it goes.....
My name is Becky. I will be traveling with my husband Sean and 14yo daughter Sarah. This is our 2nd cruise as a family, but I have been on 3 DCL cruises total. I also have a son Devin who is 18 and not cruising due to starting college this year, which is hard for me because I think I am too young to have a college student. We live in the Central Valley in CA where I am the head secretary of a elementary school, DH is a deputy sheriff. We are DVC owners and like all of you I am a disney fanatic. In fact at school I am the resident travel agent when a staff member goes to disney. I tend to lurk more than I post, I just feel real self consious about it for some reason, I think it is like email you are just not sure how you come across, but I have found DIS people to be very accepting.

Glad your mood is such that you can be so productive today...both on the housework and on the boards!!! I'm off to work a bit more... just remembered I still have my phone on silent and missed a ton of calls. But it was a nice break.
