Are you ready for booking tomorrow?? I wish someone knew more about the San Gervaiso tour on Cozumel. Passporter gives it a low rating, but doesn't really give too much info. Teddy would love to see some ruins, but Tulum is just too much for Zachary. What's a mom to do?

No I am not ready I am sitting her researching a few more things. It is driving DD nuts because she wants me off the computer but she is to young to understand all I have is tonight to do this. I agree What's a mom to do? I am trying to please all 3 kids and there is no way that will ever work.

Did you end up booking the semi-sub thing through the company?--I am still considering that. Augh! The pressure of it all--maybe we won't leave the ship at all!!

I am trying. Read back a few posts and you will see what their process is. The 10:30 one is full so that was a challenge for me but I should know by Tuesday what time I get.

Sorry not doing the semi-sub, we are doing the actual go all the way sub

Hey, did you ever look up the Racine kringle websites??? You are the right person right or have I drunk to much wine again? :guilty:

You got the right person. Boy they want and arm and a leg to send those suckers don't they. DH and I could not agree on just one and split it either. So we never brought it up again. Now that he is trying to lose weight I don't want to tempt him either.

Evening!

Just read some past posts, and am so sorry to hear about Linda! My prayers are with her family. And alot of dust stuff too! :grouphug:

Please include me on the list of people to send the email to. I'd love to leave her a message.

Can anyone believe it's August already?! Katie starts Kindergarten in just over 2 weeks. Amazing!

Carrie - were you emailing Marina at Atlantis Adventures? She seemed really nice, and I'm sure if you email her that you want the 930am, she'll make it happen. She helped us when I was booking the semi-sub trip. She seemed very knowledgable.

Good luck to all the KKers booking their ressies online tomorrow night! It took me about an hour to get the basics done. And that was at 330am!

Robin here...

Just a quick hi to everyone.

This was the first good day I've had since I had to start dealing with my parents on June 21st.

Got up this morning... did tae bo and weights. Then went for a 25 min. speed walk. Did some surfing to find a hotel for Niagara Falls, ate lunch, then Mike & I went for a bike ride.

At 5pm we went to a barbecue at Scrappers field (Minor league baseball team) and just got home.

It's soooo nice to get back to a normal routine.

I have to say it is a little hard to enjoy yourself when your parents are locked up in a nursing home. :guilty:

It's going to take some major adjusting. :sad2:

Yes that is who I have been communicating with. She has been great so far. I just hope she can get me the 9:30 one. I really don't want to go any later then the 10:30 one which is already full. I love GC and want to take time to eat and shop while in port there. I can always find very nice windchimes there and this time I am getting some.

Robin - please don't feel guilty about taking some time for the two of you. You guys need some time together! Glad to hear you had a good day. Sounds like you had a very full & busy day! :goodvibes

Just remember that you are doing what is best for them and for you. You could not possibly take care of them full time and give them everything they need, and still be able to take care of your own life and family. You need to be able to get you life back to normal. Now that they are getting the care that they need, you need to take care of yourself. Oh and of course I am sure Mike likes having you around more. :)

Carrie - I just noticed the time of your cruise countdown ticker: 2 months, 2 weeks, and 2 days! Cool!

I am going to grab something to eat now that DD has gone to bed. Then I need to map out what I am booking for tomorrow night. We will see how long I last. I am still running off about 1 possibly 2 hours of sleep from last night. If I last long enough I will jump back on and see what is happening here.

Thanks...

It's tough not to, until I see them and realize how bad they are. The hard part is... everytime I go there my Mom starts crying as soon as she sees me and my Dad gets teary eyed. I am usually able to cheer them up, but it's still tough.

I keep telling myself that there a lot of other people in the world going through the same thing. I just need to "suck it up"

Boy - these boards are S L O W tonight! Goodnight Carrie! I'll be signing off myself here in a few minutes.

You got me Beat! You're Dad, Rob and I have something in common.

Wow! That is pretty cool!! :woohoo: My dad was born exactly 30 years before Rob :thumbsup2

Just sent it.

It's up on the site!! ::yes::
