Any fun plans for the weekend out there? Chuck and I are planning on seeing Ratatouille and maybe Shrek3 (if it's still out). Tony and Stacy are coming over Saturday night for a grill out and movie night. Then Tony and I will be up at the "A$$ crack of Stupid" to book our excursions for Chuck and I. The kids get to book on Aug. 6th and we'll do it again then.

I know Cheryl and I will be on the KK thread with our results. Hopefully you will join us for an Early Morning Chat. :wizard:

Good luck to all the "Losers" tomorrow.

We're going to try and get to the Waukesha County Fair this weekend. Rachel and I might go and see the Nancy Drew movie today.

Of course the biggest plans for the weekend are to be up at 2am Sun. morning to make our Palo reservations! I'll post here afterwards for our early morning chat!

Good luck to all the "losers" tomorrow. I will be a "gainer" this week. I gained "some" weight in FL and then still more at my sisters. Oh well I'm back on track now!

Cheryl

Brenda's the lady i told you all about, she has food and wine issues and to keep her weight down went to the extreme of having her leg amputated ...:rolleyes1

What???

No mention of anyone purchasing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows at 12:01 AM on Saturday morning (to me it's still Friday night).

I can't be the only one... can I? ;)

Brenda I won't be buying my Harry Potter book at 12:01 on Sat but I will be heading to Target to pick 1 up for myself as soon as I wake up Sat. morning. I can't wait to start reading it! You'll be finished way ahead of me though.

Cheryl

Thanks for all the welcome homes everyone! I almost feel like I am checking into a DVC resort :lmao:

I suspect she may be finished before you get up.....:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Chris you may very well be right about that. Although the last few have been pretty big books. Brenda can you speed read :lmao:

I do read pretty fast - with the HP books I usually average 100 pages per hour. I figure if I allow time to get home and get comfortable and I'm sure I'll take a catnap... I will probably be finished with book 7 by noon on Saturday.

And then I'll re-read it... :rotfl2:

Welcome back Cheryl, sounds like you had a great time. I'm certain we all wish we were you, since I'm only going to be at Disney the day before we set sail. Just not enough time, we'll be cramming in everything we possibly can. Where in N. Wisconsin does your family live?

Janice my sister lives near Cable, which is "near" Hayward. We stopped at my niece's house in Chippewa Falls on our way up so we went through Tomah on 94 and I thought about you as we did.

"Jason bring me a coffee honey"...:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Welcome home Cheryl!!!! How do you get so much time off working in the medical field?:confused3

I have worked at the same hospital for 17 years so I accrue my PTO pretty quickly. In our dept. we all work part time and we are only able to take 2 weeks of vacation in the summer but then we can make trades with each other to get more time off in a block of time. The week at my sisters was possible because of trades I made but now I am working 4 or 5 day weeks the next few weeks to make up for it, but it was worth it.

Cheryl

Did so ale cart...:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

speaking of ale carts... how do you like the variety of beers we're providing tomorrow night?

Kirin
Murphy's Red
Kronenbourg 1664
Goose Island Pale Ale
Dos Equus
Sam Adams (sampler pack)
Schlaffley's (sampler pack)
Bud Light (blech, but we've got to allow for local tastes)

We will also be offering Sangria, Mango Margaritas, Guavaberry Coladas, and Kahlua Coladas... so many drinks, so little time! :goodvibes

That's a good drive from your house, but it sure is beautiful up there.

Looks like theirs lot's of girlie drinks there brenda, where's the Tetleys,Boddingtons and John smiths?....:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I'm not buying Boddingtons for anyone other than Jay and me... :thumbsup2

AFEG, you have to understand the Midwestern US beer palate: most people drink Anheuser Busch, Miller, or Coors products based on their geography. The beers we've selected are a huge jump for most of the people coming to our shindig. Cut 'em some slack.
