Well I am off early to watch Bridge to Taribithia... Trevor got it for his birthday! I heard it makes you cry... but I always sleep well after a good cry. Night everyone... not that there are tons of people here or anything. hahahaha

I know I cried, don't know how you couldn't. I had not read the book before going to the movie, but Bryce did and didn't care for the movie so much.

I don't even know if it is still there or not, but my favorite Disney restaurant was the one that was in the Pirates of the Carribean at Disneyland. It could be only that it was the first real restaurant I remember going to at Disney and it seemed so neat to be sitting there when the ride was going past me and I knew that they were wondering who was eating there. I can't even recall the food. But it was magical to me.

You have great taste. That is our fave also. We believe that it is still there, I hope. The food was good but again the whole watching the boats go bye and listening to the sounds of the rides music was very magical.

Ok, before she wakes up, how about some pics!!! :cool1: One last pic of her before we left Lake Louise.

Loved the photos Cass.

What is a Summer Bank Holiday and is your loft the same as our attic?

Nancy - It's a public holiday, traditionally when the banks are closed, hence Bank Holiday. Yes our loft is your attic. Oh, the UK/US language divide gets me every time!
:rotfl: ;) :rotfl:

Celler,basement?....:confused3 ....Heather with the amount of jollys you two go on wouldn't it make more sence on Rick's part anyways to simlpy "hide" the cases under the dining room table for next time..:rolleyes1

Got to go to page 1043 and catch up !!! just dropped in to say had an amazing birthday..... Was taken to london, had personal shopper in Selfridges, got an amazing bag in L K Bennett! ( cost a months mortgage payment, but then Im 40, every woman should own, one amazing bag ! )
Guess Karen might had a few more ???:rotfl2:

Then we went to lunch in Browns, then had a pedicure, last tint, hot stone treatment etc in Groom in Selfridges, which was sooooooooooooooo lovely. Then we finished off the day with champagne afternoon tea in Ritz! It was really magical. The piano player played a posh version of happy birthday and they brought out a small tartlet with a candle. ( photos to folow, though we werent really allowed to take any in there.... as there are people in there, who dont wish to be photograpghed! :snooty: :snooty: :snooty: I dont atnt hem in my pictures anyway !:confused3

Good evening everyone!!!

Just touching base between swim lessons, baseball practice and bath time!:faint:

Just wanted to share a quick story with ya'll. Lori and I and are families are huge fans of the MNSSHP and were very disappointed that we were not going to be able to go this year:sad1: (as Friday, October 19th is the only Friday they are not having it!!!:confused3 ) Anyway.....because we were suffering so.....withdrawals and all.......we actually called the airline to see how expensive it would be to change our flights on Thursday to an earlier time (so that we could possibly make the thursday night party). Well, of course it was a ridiculous $100.00 per person charge to make a change....mind you, only a time change.......:scared1: :scared1: Needless to say, we forgot all about that. No MNSSHP for us this year......:sad1: :sad1:

But wait........I get to work this a.m. and there is an urgent message in my mailbox from Expedia.com about our flight???? WHAAAAA????? So I call them and they say "I'm sorry Mrs. Medley but your flight has been cancelled. To accommodate this we would like to move you to another flight on the same day!!!!!!!":woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: Naturally, I'm doing the happy dance all over my office...........I'm getting my flight moved up earlier in the day for FREEEEEEEEE!!!!! So, in the end, all 11 of us got our flight changed to arrive in Orlando at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday Oct. 18th!!!! And needless to say, our MNSSHP tickets have been ordered and should be arriving in the mail in 7-10 days!!!!!!!:cheer2: :cheer2:

How cool is that!!! I told Lori that someone was watching out for us and wanted us to be able to take the kids to the party!!!!!!WHEN YOU WISH UPON A STAR...................................................................pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: :tink: :tink: :tink:

Missy, lucky you !!!!!:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Welcome back Rose !:)

I love Everest, Wayne didnt ride ( his excuse was to look after E, but this year she can ride too... so no excuses !!:rotfl2: )

In fact she tried to get on last year, but was too small, they gave her a fast pass that onve she is tall enough she can use... we have it for this Oct. I didnt mind Wayne not riding as I used all 3 tickets and rode fast pass 3 times over ! What fun:banana:

:goodvibes Heather love the pics, thanks for sharing ... the one with you and the choc cake/pudding was lovely. ( Gosh Im on a diet and all I can think about is chocolate !!! )

Must go to the gym tonight, I was VERY naughty yesterday, with mny diet, but then Im only 40 once ! :rotfl:

so did you cry?

We won tickets for 4 of us to go and see Bridge in an advanced showing - we thought it would be so cool. Well there I am in the theatre with Spencer, 7, with a broken leg so a full cast from toes to upper thigh, Avery who was only 4 and Vanessa at 14.

Well all 4 of us are crying our hearts out. Avery and SPencer are fighting for my lap but with Spencer's leg, this is quite a challenge...especially as I am crying so much myself. We were quite a lot.

I doubt we will ever see that movie again - we were so shocked by it.

Serves me right for seeing a movie without reading the book first!

Yes I did cry... I had read the book and so had my youngest so we weren't shocked by it. I did like the movie though... I liked the creativeness and the way the kids were portrayed with so much imagination.

Heather said it is! Blue Bayou I think she said. Booked for months ahead. It wasn't as sought after when I went there.

Well I am off and running. I have clients from out of state in town and have to show 14 houses out in the boon docks today. Then I have some regular work to do left over from yesterdays list and then a work social thing at the White Water Rafting center... so off at 8, home by 10? I hope. It goes on till midnight but I am trying to ride over with the early to bed people. I like to make an appearance and then head out. hahahahaha

Mary and the boys are off to see Rattatouille tonight.

Same here when we went it was almost 6 years ago but we walked up when they opened and made a res for later that night.
