Hello:goodvibes - nice to hear off you. Pop in again soon:goodvibes

IO dont want to tempt fate, but I think the pc has decided to play again!:yay: - just switched it on expecting it not to work but so far so good:confused3 - maybe it was the big kick I gave it yesterday:lmao:

Its been hot here this afternoon - first time in ages - I've been sunbathing in my new garden:scared1: - the view is enough to make the neighbours put their house on the market:rolleyes1

I did a spin class today followed by aqua circuits - holy cow! - I ache already:eek: - hot bath for me tonight - no glass of merlot though:sad2: - being a good girlie:angel: - tried on my favourite black dress this morning - waaaaay too tight. Need to lose at least half a stone to even think about it:rolleyes:

Its chicken and veg for dinner with no dessert - not even a crumb of cheesecake:eek: .

If you hear a huge cheering noise onboard - dont worry - it'll just be my stomach thanking me for finally giving it some decent food after 3 months of starvation. Well, 2 days so far:rolleyes1

Yippee on your computer working!!!:cheer2:
Good luck on your better eating!!!!!!

Oh I'm miffed too, about Thunder mountain closed, will have to go on it on the 27th or 28th before we fly home.

Celler,basement?....:confused3 ....Heather with the amount of jollys you two go on wouldn't it make more sence on Rick's part anyways to simlpy "hide" the cases under the dining room table for next time..:rolleyes1

We don't do that many trips, but I did have to laugh Chris:lmao:

Chris - does Hazel still need 'No Ad' suncream? I saw it on sale at Saver's.

Got to go to page 1043 and catch up !!! just dropped in to say had an amazing birthday..... Was taken to london, had personal shopper in Selfridges, got an amazing bag in L K Bennett! ( cost a months mortgage payment, but then Im 40, every woman should own, one amazing bag ! )
Guess Karen might had a few more ???:rotfl2:

Then we went to lunch in Browns, then had a pedicure, last tint, hot stone treatment etc in Groom in Selfridges, which was sooooooooooooooo lovely. Then we finished off the day with champagne afternoon tea in Ritz! It was really magical. The piano player played a posh version of happy birthday and they brought out a small tartlet with a candle. ( photos to folow, though we werent really allowed to take any in there.... as there are people in there, who dont wish to be photograpghed! :snooty: :snooty: :snooty: I dont atnt hem in my pictures anyway !:confused3

It was a great day, and Im so lucky to have such a great and very generous friend.

Hello Heather :)

Some interesting facts...

The Walt Disney Company guards their actual daily attendance figures pretty well, so all I can tell you is the total annual attendance numbers and an average daily attendance. Obviously, certain days and times of the year will be more heavily attended than other times, affecting wait times and crowds, but here are the 2006 average attendance figures:

Magic Kingdom: 16.64 million per year or 45,590 daily visitors on average;Epcot: 10.46 million per year or 28,658 daily;

Disney-MGM: 9.1 million or 24,932 daily;

Animal Kingdom: 8.91 million or 24,911 daily;

Total 2006 attendance for all four WDW parks: 45.11 million guests! That's approximately 123,590 guests per day on average --the size of a small city!

Disney parks hold six of the top ten attendance slots on the list of U.S. theme parks:

1: Magic Kingdom
2: Disneyland (14.73 million annually or 40,357 daily)
3: Epcot
4: Disney-MGM
5: Animal Kingdom
7: California Adventure (5.95 million annually or 16,302 daily)

Across the world, Disney holds the top eight of the top ten slots:

1. Magic Kingdom
2..Disneyland
3. Tokyo Disneyland (12.9 million annually and 35,343 daily)
4. Tokyo DisneySeas (12.1 million annually and 33,151 daily)
5. Disneyland Paris (10.6 million annually and 29,042 daily)
6. Epcot
7. Disney-MGM
8. Animal Kingdom

Note that Disneyland Paris is #5 across the world, and tops three of the Florida parks for attendance. I guess they've solved that low attendance problem! I know when I visited in March, it was cold and rainy and the Paris parks were surprisingly very busy with average waits of 40 minutes to one hour during the weekdays, and much longer waits on Saturday, even in the non-stop pouring rain.

So why do many European visitors choose Walt Disney World over the closer Disneyland Paris? Strictly anecdotally, according to my European friends,

Their money goes much farther here in the U.S.; and the weather food and shopping ! :thumbsup2

Wish I was sooo rich, they kicked out the other 45,587 out of MK, so we could have it for ourselves! :goodvibes

Perhaps it has something to do with the location and the locals?

We've been there twice and won't be going back in a hurry. Been there, done that!!!

No,but "wow" for remembering...we'll pick a 5 gallon drum for the little guy at walmarts when we get there...:rotfl2:

Guess I would have to be Micheal Jackson ???? or some major celeb! :confused3

Baby when that chopper lands on the roof of your hotel you need to get out and work it girl,work it and leave them guessing as to who "you" are...:banana: :woohoo: :banana:

OK, I want to make sure I have this right... We are Castaway Cay members this time :cool1:, so we get to make our reservations at 90 days out. So according to my calculations this would be the morning of July 22nd (also happens to be my oldest daughters b-day - she'll be 8! ), correct?

Midnight - Pacific
1AM - Mountain (me) :surfweb:
2AM - Central
3AM - Eastern

Does that seem right to everyone? I hope so, I can't wait to get the reservations all set!! :goodvibes

I will need some reading material for the trip and I will not have any good books to bring by then.
