We just got back about half an hour ago from spending the day in Banff/Lake Louise. Rob's boss from San Diego and his wife and 2 kids are in town so we took a little time to show them around a bit.

But you know what the BEST thing about today was???? On his way here, Mike stopped at Costco and bought us an AIR CONDITIONER!!! The kind that you stick in your window!!!

Although it doesn't fit in our bedroom window, it should fit in the living room window!!!

Mike is coming over tomorrow to help us install it. They are from San Diego, when they left it was around 75º and they were hoping to have cooler temps up here..... It's been in the 90's since they got here!!

When they brought the A/C over, they said "How do you people handle this kind of heat with NO A/C???????????

Evening everyone!

Not much going on around here. Pretty quiet, uneventful day today. Not that I'm complaining!

Just checked the calendar. 98 days til our cruise! We still don't have our passports. Not that they're mandatory, but I sure would like to have them before we sail. It's now been 12 weeks since we sent in the girls' new applications, and 10 weeks since mine & DH's renewals. Wow - it's really taking a long time!

Robin - how on earth did you get a AP vest? I love the photos! Mike really doesn't look that thrilled though! He sort of looks like the real servers on the ship - all ready for business! (I'll have an iced tea!)

Went to Hallmark, and spent a ton of money on ornaments. Sad thing is, I only bought 5. Two of them that DH wanted were over $30.00 a piece. UGH! Plus I had to run to a second Hallmark, as the 1st was already out of one that Katie wanted.

Well - guess I'll run for now. Just wanted to pop by and say hi. So...HI!

Tina, we are still waiting for one more passport too. It's been just as long as yours. Maybe we'll get them all on the same day. Good thing we have ample time yet.

I also spent almost $100.00 on Hallmark ornaments yesterday too. Which one's did you get? I got: Wicked Witch of the West for Stacy (She's an OZ fan), Germany (first in a series) for Kristin, Tony got the basketball one and Jesse got Soccer. I always buy an ornament for Chuck and I together and it is always Disney. So we got Mickey & Minnie at the mall. It's perfect for us as we love starting and finishing all of our Christmas shopping on the day after Thanksgiving. The kids get their ornaments in their St. Nick boots.

the only reason i dont look too happy is because every time i wear that outfit robin bosses me around and makes me serve her all day

Robin is a VERY smart lady.

Wow...what a nice boss Rob has. The only cold things I get from my boss are cold stares and the cold shoulder!! Hope things are more comfortable now. But just watch, your new house will have central air.

Sorry Cinnimike, looks like Candy might be tough to keep up with too. I'll keep my Cabo. He looks so sweet laying next to me right now even with his taco chip breath.

Our new passports arrived yesterday...so we are all ready with our biometric ones.

Saw HP today and loved it. Won't spoil for the rest of you, other than to say that it was better than the last one.

Glad to see we're up to 18 taggers again.

Mike and Robin - loved the photos. We have matching menus as well. As the Wonder was due for dry dock last September they let me keep every menu.
Loved the uniforms as well. I keep trying for one of those badges..everytime I see a CM with my name on it...I do mention that we have the same name, but they don't take the hint.

Well I am off for the day. I have to wrap up the gifts so he doesn't see them, I have to take my dogs to the groomers, go to church, grab a bite of lunch, I have an open house from 2-4 so I have to prepack the car with signs and such, show a house at 4:30, and home to get my kids after that, then prepare for my out of state clients 6 hour tour tomorrow. Yes, I have to work today.

That sounds like one hectic day....hopefully you will sell a house somewhere in there and make it all worth while.

Me, take the kids to a birthday party ina few minutes, go to the Disney Store that is near there, take a couple fo the kids home as I agreed to do some car pooling, go get my haircut, do a bit of grocery shopping, home to get the kids ready to go to camp tomorrow.

Avery is going to her first day camp tomorrow so that could be interesting.

I got my son Bionicles (which are like k-nex type build it yourself guys that light up) and the rest of the Pirates of the Carribean action figures that he does not have for his ship, some Ben 10 guys, and some pokemon cards. He is also getting a pirate outfit thing that he can wear on the cruise. lol I try to mulitbuy to hit both things... I got him some clothes that he'll need for dressing on the cruise too. (He wears a uniform at school so he doesn't have a ton of real clothes.)

Good morning everyone!

First things first...WELCOME BACK Karen and Linda!!
I miss you two. So glad you're both back and that things are winding down for the both of you.
I had my 2nd DISmeet this morning. Jeff dropped off his son at piano lessons only 2 blocks from my house and stopped over for a meet n greet. All I can say is that you are all in for a treat! You think he's funny here? Wait until you meet him!! What a wonderfully funny man. Karen, I'm a tad bit jealous that you get to have dinner every night with him. You are all going to just love him!!

A few of you wondered about a quiet awkwardness once we all meet. NOT GONNA HAPPEN PEOPLE!!! I just don't see that happening.

Cant wait to meet my tablemates , even if they are getting all "poshed" up on formal night
