Hello all......just wanted to pop on and say I hope everyone had a great weekend. We were very busy as usual with our boys. We spent time in the pool, saw Harry Potter on IMAX, went to a cookout/pool party at my sisters today............whew!!! I need to get back to work where I can rest!

Carrie Hang in there!! Regardless of what happens in the next few weeks or months, you, your hubby and Mac are going to be spending 7 days together in paradise!!! Try to focus on that!!

Hi all.

I just wanted some prayers as usual. My mom, my sister, and I were in a bad car accident on Friday afternoon. My sister and I are cut up and are very sore, but my mom suffered a broken arm and shoulder. She has to stay in a sling all weekend and see her orthopedic surgeon on Monday. We are lucky to be alive. A car on the side of me had a blowout, caused me to go off the road and when I got back on we flipped once. My Expedition is totalled, but it is my mom that I am worried about. She has such problems with her bones. Ok, that is all I can type for now. Just know that I am fine and thanking the Lord for sparing us. I thought I was going to die. I've never really felt that way and it has thrown me for a loop.

I know I am missing quite a bit since we are still in transit and I am not able to post. I just want to let y'all know that I am still here and will be more active once we are settled in Virginia. God knows I have had enough "excitement" here in Louisiana.

Paige - best wishes to you and your sis and mom. I hope everyone heals quickly and completely. What a scary, scary thing for all of you!!!! to all of you!

Nancy - about the Hallmark ornaments - I bought 2 Star Wars ones (Millennium Falcon and R2D2), Star Trek Enterprise, the mini Mickey & Minnie snowmice, and the mini Snoopy & Woodstock. We saw them about a week ago at the mall, but I wouldn't let anyone buy them then. I wanted the bonus points for buying them this weekend. Love those Hallmark certificates!

Jessalynn - good for you on paying off your cruise. It feels great!

Haven't seen Brenda around here much. (Of course, I haven't been here much either.) How many times do you think she has seen HP this weekend?

I am off to eat dinner with the family (not what I would like to do but hey when does a mother (step) ever get to do what she wants, right) then I need to put little one to bed, then it is time for DH and I to have another chat with the older 2. I think I am all chatted out with them. But I will check back in after they go to bed.

You also sound like me. I keep saying tomorrow... and tomorrow never comes. I lose a couple lbs only to gain them back a week later.

(By the way everyone, my brother finally realized we need some home care for Mom & Dad. Dah!! Can you believe it? When I left him to do it himself, he decided it was just too much. ) He actually almost apologized to me. (In his own way, but I'll take it.)

20 to 30 lbs to go in just over 3 months.

Glad its a bit better with your brother. Its hard enough without having to battle with him at every hurdle. Big hugs to you
