I like Book 4 a lot, too, even though it needed another session with the editorial staff. I loved all the stuff with Mad-Eye Moody - what a great character!

Lily (my niece) is so excited ... she's even going to dress up like Hermione. She wants me to dress up too, but I don't have anything HP related and something tells me wearing my Minnie Mouse costume from last Halloween wouldn't be at all appropriate.

It's doing it for me Mrs peg leg...

Alex is watching Brother Bear 2 on the Disney Channel. She is asking about the Northern Lights. Does anyone have any pictures she can see? We could look it up on the internet but I'm sure some of you northerners could help and it would be much more interesting to her to know someone that has seen them!!!

I am in SOuthern Ontario so I wouldnt see them around here - I have always wanted to go way up north to see them - one of those things to do before getting TOO old.

I think Cass is in Calgary which also isnt North enough - but she might have gone up to see them in Edmonton.

I agree, I think we will find out in Book 7 that the end in Book 6 was a Ruse. I also think that Snape is pretending

I woke up about an hour ago (1am EST) and figured I'd check the cruise site to see if anything opened up as far as being able to reserve Palo, shore excursions, etc. Everything was available to book. I thought that 3am was the magic time too?? The only thing I couldn't do yet was complete the On-Line registration and Payment Authorization. But I got the kids registered for the clubs, Palo, and shore excursions booked. I thought that was interesting, and I'm glad I don't have to wake up again in an hour!

Hi all. Tought I'd check in as we're out tonight.

Watching the women's final at Wimbledon....Venus Williams V Marion Bartoli. Thought Venus would win comfortably...but it looks like she might have met her match.

Men's final tomorrow....Federra V Nedel. Could be interesting.

I am now the one that will be standing inline at the book store to get a copy of book 7.

I'll be at ASDA (UK Walmarts) at 12 midnight for my copy.

I liked book 4.

I'm with you, but they really had to cut alot out for the film which was a shame.

Actually you can see them (aurora borealis) every once in awhile here in Calgary if you are on the outskirts of the city, we used to see them quite a bit when we lived in the NE part of the city. But nothing like if we drove a few hours north. Sorry, no pics though. But they are AMAZING to see. Actually, I remember in 2005 while walking our dog Tzar in the park across the street, we saw them, I didn't thing we could see them from here in the SW part of the city but they were gorgeous!!

DH and I are not seeing eye to eye on this one so he wants me to ask all of your if you know. If it is a port day and the older kids do not want to go to port with us can they be left in the kids programs and we go to port?

I am on the cruise website looking at shore things. This is so discouraging because I am working with dial up it takes forever. We really don't even know if we want to do any of the things the ship offers.

If you can book online then I would suggest doing so - the Rasul is very popular, especially on days when the ship is at sea.
