But my girl is now sick with a cold and I think Rob got sick from her too now

I am in SOuthern Ontario so I wouldnt see them around here - I have always wanted to go way up north to see them - one of those things to do before getting TOO old.
I think Cass is in Calgary which also isnt North enough - but she might have gone up to see them in Edmonton.
Actually it would be 2.5x faster.
As Cass said, we see the Aurora Borealis on occassion here in Calgary. I did see them a lot more when I lived up north.
BTW: One of the best places to see them is in Saskatchewan, which is one reason why their plates say "Land of the living skies".

Is that really that much faster? I guess what I am asking is that I am a person that does not really like change and would it be worth the extra $5.00 plus tax to only go 2.5x faster.
That depends on how frustrated you are with your connection.
Figure out how much time you'd save in a month for that $5. Figure it based on how much you think you're worth an hour. Lets say you spend the $5 and it saves you 30 minutes a month, that works out to $10 per hour for your time.
Now if you save 10 hours, that makes your time worth $50 an hour. 20 hours of time would be $100 per hour. If you think it is less than that, it would make sense to switch.
$5 isn't a lot in the scheme of things. I would look more towards a possible DSL connection for $19.95 instead.
You have very valid points. It takes me roughly 3 hours to read 10 pages on Dis so I spend from 7:30 to 10:30 at night doing that alone, then I am on in the morning for about 20 minutes and don't get much accomplished except check my email. Not to mention time I am on durning the weekends, and afternoons. I think Dis has been a hassel because of dail up. When we read a page and it to the top of it we have to refresh it just to make sure we don't miss anything and then it has to reload. I know that my mother would appreciate calling me and not getting the busy signal every night. And of course our preteen would like the phone.
I have just googled DSL. But her is my next question. What is the difference between DSL and Broadband.
Time to go back out to the pool.
It is in the low 90's here today. Suz and DS are in the pool. I, instead sit here and DIS. Can you see where my priorities are?![]()
Poor baby. I feel bad. There's nothing worse than a sick baby.
) Now we can do our happy dance. (tradition) When I was in Cincinnati with my boss a couple of weeks ago, Cassie came to the Hilton and stayed over night with me. We always do our happy dance when we see each other.
I think my boss thought we were crazy.
(at least until she saw how goofy we are when we're together.) I'll have to tell everyone what happened at the rest area on our way home from Florida one year. (it's a little disgusting, but funny)Hmm, its interesting to note that you're having problems. If you don't mind my asking, what kind of problems are you having?
There's a lot of different choices for you, it all depends on your budget.
The Sony's have always been good to us and a HDD is the next type we'll get, though I doubt it'll be in time for this years cruise; unless I get a really big order.
Anyone need RF connectors?

will that help

Thanks for asking.I think I'm going through a pre-mid-life crisis. Kind of funny but kind of not................ Oh well. This too shall pass.

Evening all!
Abby - I logged on about 330am this morning, and didn't have problems. I too noticed at first that I couldn't access the online registration, but by 400am, that opened up too.
I got the kids registered for the kids club (keeping fingers crossed Sammie will be completely potty trained!), booked a Palo dinner and brunch, got John's parents a brunch too, some shore excurions and looked through the online registration. Whew! Hard to do that early in the morning, completely bleary eyed!
Having a time conflict on Grand Cayman for 2 of the excursions. There's an hour wait in between, so I'm not sure where the time conflict comes in, but it wouldn't let me book both. We may decide to book something on our own. Might just jump in a cab and run over to the turtle farm separately. We absolutely adored GC the last time we were there, and felt very comfortable about the island (unlike Cozumel, scary!)
I've decided to not participate in distag. There's just too much stuff going on, it's been really hard to keep up lately. Not going to go into details, and we're all fine, so no worries! It will just be easier if I opt out now!
Anyone planning on the Castaway Ray's Stingray excursion? We signed up for the earliest one at 10am. I've heard it's better to do an earlier one, as the water's not too churned up. I love feeding the stingrays at SeaWorld.
Well, enough chatting for now! Have a good night!
