Official 2026 HHN, 35 Years & Still Haunting

How soon do express passes sell out, I would definitely want one.
It's not necessarily selling out that you have to worry about, not early on at least. But the price WILL go up, most often it will go up a lot. And it might start going up in a day or two, or it might wait a few weeks to go up. The earlier you buy, the cheaper it will be. If you're not going to buy soon, do yourself a favor and don't look at the prices now.

100%. And I'm pretty sure its never gone down.

guess they knew what they were talking about lol
I think I saw elsewhere that particular person had been right about this before haha

I’m just glad to have it all sorted now so that’s one less thing to worry about!

We’re doing the 6 house Unmasking the Horror tour for the first time ever this year the day after our HHN night so I just wondered if anyone had any advice on what to expect for that other than another bunch of walking 🥴

The plan so far is HHN with RIP Tour on the 7th Oct and just grabbing lunch at Hard Rock Hotel first and then heading over to wait to be let in at the VIP entrance for that night and then we booked the 10am Unmasking the Horror tour for the 8th Oct and will just be doing that on that day. Definitely learned our lesson from previous HHN’s not to do all day and night haha

We’re flying over from the UK for the week just for HHN really and then want to get one last trip out of our Disney APs before they expire so the rest of our limited time will be spent there but thank you for the advice!

First time going to HHN, we have tickets and express pass for the event. Should we get the early scream tickets also? Or would a day ticket allow us to the same thing?

I would think so - day ticket and AP has allowed for the early entry in the past

Something a little different his year is that it mentions 3 houses being available at 2PM - which seems ridiculously early to me.
I have to assume the staffing for these wont be great either - doing the house early is not always great IMO.
But still - I assume day tickets and APs will get the same early entry - remains to be seen for sure.

"Get access to at least three haunted houses starting at 2 pm, plus time to enjoy the iconic attractions you love, continuing through regular scheduled daytime park closing."

Wow, that’s a long flight for a week. Love it!

Not sure I’m following you

If you don’t have a day ticket, you would need stay & scream tix to enter before normal HHN start time.

I do think the early entry/3 house verbiage on website only refers to the capability to enter the park early and the opportunity to line up.

Note that last year, the FNAF one grew to occupancy a few nights we were there well before 5 pm.

Guessing the holding pens are now a thing of the past.
Thank you Janet for yet again taking on the responsibility of setting up the sticky on HHN. Wow……we are celebrating HHN 35 this year.

I know It is a labor of love indeed.
Thankfully, a great crew here of HHN fans that cover all the bases.

This thread initially designed to just corral the chatter & Qs in one place for simplicity and to keep the U board “clean”.

I do love to see how it’s become a true a community driven effort, helps us all have the best trip possible.🧛‍♂️👻🎃

On that note, even before what I think will be increased airfare/fuel surcharges of some sort, sooner vs later; is anyone else in sticker shock as to flight prices for September. Talk about scary. First time I’m finding myself scheduling trip around airfare.

FYI, Sea World is in their 6th year for their haunt, Howl-o-Scream.

https://www.disboards.com/threads/2026-sea-world-howl-o-scream-6-9-18-5k-race-info.3980553/

Starts 9/11 specific dates not out yet.

There will be a 5K race the evening of 9/18, with an after party. Currently, an any night scare tix is included with race registration.

HoS more than a bit more adult on some levels, not the big budget or slick production level of HHN, lots of heart. The scareactors’ roles remind me of the old school ones of HHN past, a good thing.

Know many here have enjoyed both events. If not, it’s something to consider as it’s a cost-effective, more chill way to enjoy a haunt. Offers a very well-produced stage show & some interesting, themed bars. Overall, it complements an Orlando Halloween themed trip very well.

Back to our regularly scheduled haunt
