LATEST NEWS on the missing little girl, lets pray she is found, safe and well. Its 8 weeks today, she went missing !
An Italian man and a Portuguese woman have been arrested in Spain over the suspected kidnapping of Madeleine McCann, according to a Spanish news website.
El Pais reported that the Italian man was trying to extort money from the McCanns in return for information about their daughter.
He was apparently arrested in the village of Sotogrande by the anti-kidnap group UDEV.
His detention reportedly arose from an international search warrant issued by the French authorities. The National Police in France refused to comment about reports they had issued an international arrest warrant for the man.
There were also claims that a Portuguese woman had been arrested.
Chief Inspector Olegario Sousa, from Portuguese police, said he had heard the report from the Spanish newspaper and was trying to verify it. He added: "I have heard about this and I am trying to check this information with my director."
Madeleine's great uncle, Brian Kennedy, said: "We are trying not to get our hopes up too much because they so frequently get dashed."
The family had been cautioned to be "very careful" about reading too much into reports about Madeleine, he added.
But he said they were still welcome because it meant people were still keeping a look out for her and that they had not forgotten about her plight.
It is now 56 days since Madeleine, from Rothley, Leicestershire, went missing from her hotel room in the Portuguese resort Praia da Luz while her parents, Gerry and Kate, were eating in a restaurant just 100 yards away.
Her parents have stayed in Portugal since she disappeared, insisting they will not leave until she is found.
People across Europe should call the international Crimestoppers line on 0044 188 373 1336 or if they are inside the UK 0800 555 111 if they have any information.

). I play the sountrack EVERY day at work and I think my co-workers are tired of hearing it. We saw it first in 2001 and actually went back to EPCOT in 2003 and found a great spot to sit and watch it. When nothing happened I went to ask someone when it started and she just laughed at me and said, "You'll have a long wait because they cancelled it"!!

We have been needing some one on one time. Dh is at work and ODD decided to take her mom up on the offer of going out to eat with them for tonight and spending the night. It has been a rough week with ODD so I am glad for the break. Mac helped me make taco chicken, and we have been to Arby's for dinner and we have spent an hour on her autograph book. I will try to post some pics later this evening. She is having a popsicle and then it will be time for her hour bath, nail painting, and tattoos, story time and then off to bed for her. I will see how much I get accomplished tonight.
