Rob, I feel the same way!! I can't tell you how many times I re-watch my video tapes of the parade. (Well, not as many times as I watch Cass & your's video ). I play the sountrack EVERY day at work and I think my co-workers are tired of hearing it. We saw it first in 2001 and actually went back to EPCOT in 2003 and found a great spot to sit and watch it. When nothing happened I went to ask someone when it started and she just laughed at me and said, "You'll have a long wait because they cancelled it"!! Sure wish they would bring it back.

Funny storyNancy, sad but funny!

We went to wdw together for the first time in 1999. (I had been 5 times prior, 4 of them went I was a child and 1 when I was 21. ) It was special since it was our first together and it was during the Millenium celebration and Tapestry of Nations was at Epcot for the first time and we fell in love with it, as well as Illuminations 2000. We bought the soundtrack in the park before we left and we played it everyday for about 3 or 4 years! We know every single beat by heart. We pretty much wore out the cd but we burned it onto our hard drive We went back in 2000 and saw it again a few times then we went back in 2002 and saw Tapestry of Dreams, just as good!

They should have kept it, it was SO good. I did read somewhere on the net about a rumour \that it will be brought back, or at least a similar version to it. Let me see if I can find that again!

That would be fantastic Cass. It was Kristin's favorite part of EPCOT. She (and I) would be so excited if this were true. Maybe we won't tell her at all and tell her that we have a surprise for her. Then we'll show up at EPCOT on the Saturday after our cruise for the parade. Please post link.

Carrie here - you and Scott have perked my interest. I missed the show he was talking about. What flavors are there. He said there were many to choose from. We might take you up on that offer.

Oh gosh, they have tons of flavors. Let me think...there's apple, raspberry, cherry, cherry cheese, blueberry, strawberry, pecan, almond, cranberry-walnut, chocolate, apricot, cheese, and probably more than I can't think of off the top of my head. Some ship better than others--I think they don't recommend shipping the strawberry because it is juicier than some of the others and gets kind of messy.

I just scoured 50 pages of posts on the TP board and I can't find that post about the rumoured TOD return to Epcot. I have looked at other rumour sites and can't find anything so I guess it's probably just a bogus rumour.

When Jay and I were at WDW last month we received a really thoughtful gift from a couple of very special DISers. It was waiting for us in our villa when we returned from our dinner at Victoria and Albert's on the evening of our anniversary.

So, thanks again Nancy and Chris!! You're the best!!!

I thought we took a picture of the actual gift basket by itself, but apparently the flash kept bouncing of the cellophane and we gave up in a fit of drunken rage.

Does anyone want to guess just how much we'd had to drink when this picture was taken?
