Yes! - it was fabulous! and we didnt get caught in any trffic on the way to the ship either

We had Junction 21 on the Dec 05 cruise. Wasn't too impressed. Although the guys in our group seemed to LOVE them.

What you need to do is get the Disney Visa card. Book a 3 or 4-night if you can't swing the 7-nights deposit (although it is only $50 more per person). Then you will have 6 months of 0% financing on it. It will give you time to think about going or not.

You can always switch your dates around along with the length of cruise.

For 3 & 4 night cruises, you get the 10% rebooking discount and I think $100 room credit.

On the 7 night, you get 10% and $200 room credit.

Both are better than you'll get on the money in the bank. And even if you go for the 3 or 4 nighter, you will get the 7 night benefits if you switch to that. We did this past January.

I think i can definitely talk scott into a oct 09 double dip!!!!! We would have Harrison with us also on that one. he would have just turned 3. WE ARE BOOKING!!!!!!!! Scott? Scott who? Does he even need to know?

More news ! - new school just rang to invite us to the funday! (we were going anyway but they didnt know that!). We can meet the Head, his teacher and any kids in his class etc. At least he'll get to see some of the school before he starts. I'm so worried about him. He gets quite nervous in new situations (just like his Mom!). They worry about the little stuff like will he have a water bottle in his new class. He's not at all bothered about the work they do or anything like that, just where does he eat dinner etc. I'm going to encourage him to write down his questions so the head or teacher can answer them tomorrow for him. I think I'm more nervous than he is

Day 4 of the Passport Woes:

Tony got a call from the Congressman's office saying that he'd have to go to Chicago and re-apply now. Nothing can be found. Being the organized person he is (we affectionately dubbed him "Danny Tanner") he faxed over all the papers he had including cancelled checks, confirmation numbers from the Post Office, copy of app etc..

They finally called him back and said it was found. His last name was spelled wrong AND his SS number was incorrect. He looked at his app and sure enough, clear as a bell, everything was correct. Whoever inputed his info made two mistakes and just thought they'd toss it aside until later.

So now supposedly, he will get his passport overnighted to him by Saturday.

We'll see. I still don't have any faith in our govt...yet!
