DH here, finally I am able to get on. The work week is through.

Howdy to all of you:wave2: I kinda been kept up through the DW.

Sounds like alot of sports fans are among us. I even heard that there was discussion of womens watching sports. Unfortunatlly Carrie does bot share the same fun as me in watching sports on TV (telley). She does like to go watch live sports (opposed to dead), but with the prices of tix it limits us to go as much as I would like.

To all the Brew Crew fans, hang in there it is a long season. Thank goodness the Cubs are in your division. Flashback: Gorman Thomas

To the Tribe fans, hope the Tigers start to fade towards the end of the year.

For the soccer (football) fans, Hows ManU and Chelsea doing? Oh Unlike most I should be able do understand what you are saying, and wont think you are Austrailain. (New Zeland maybe:laughing: )

So Jeff got to do a little gardening, be lucky you are not here and have to deal with 100+ temps. (DW said you never came by here)

If I forgot anything I am sorry, I took Jeff's advice and just jumped in.

Anyone else? It is allmost 7 am for you UKers, anyone up.

(I programed our cell phones with a world clock to tell us the time in England compared to Arizona):goodvibes

How are you doing tonight Scott?
I am pooped! Spent the past 4 hours or so packing. I really hate moving!!!

Karen, does your house look like a garbage dump too? :lmao: How does one accumulate so much crap??? I try to get Rob to toss/sell stuff but he's a huge pack rat and won't give anything up! :sad2:

I understand. I moved 7 times in 6 years during the first marriage. I got it down to moving an apartment in 1 weekend. And yes I am a big packrat. Funny thing is I never moved out of Mesa(our city). Since marrying Carrie I only move once, so it gives me a chance to accumalate alot of good stuff, junk to the DW. Oh well, she will just EBay it if it is not tied down.

7 times in 6 years??? BAH! :scared: You poor thing! It seems like we move every 2.5 years and I am getting sick of it! :headache:

Karen you haven't mentioned anything about your sister lately. How is she doing? Is she communicating with you yet? Has she heard anything more about when they think they might find a match for her? I continue to keep her in my prayers :grouphug:

Cheryl

Cheryl - you know as much as I do:confused3 .... she hasnt called or answered any of my emails since the day she told me I'm not a match. :sad2: I'm obviously no use to her anymore so she's gone back to her usual ways of ignoring me for years.:sad1:

Mom calls her each week ans shes doing ok, but no sign of a match. She's going through chemo at the moment.

Thanks for asking Cheryl:hug: , I'm sure the prayers are helping...I sure hope so, I'm saying plenty of them

I did it Well if it's bad luck I'll have to deal with it :lmao:

WooooooHoooooo! - well done! - it takes longer than you think doesnt it!

:bday: Happy Birthday Suz!!!:bday:
party: party: party:

Happy birthday Suz

And to Paige's daughter

Happy birthday Emily

Karen....if I remember correctly, and if things haven't changed, I believe the parade started at 9:00 followed by the fireworks around 9:30. I know the park was open until midnight for the mnsshp!:woohoo: !! No matter what time they start YOU MUST STAY TO WATCH BOTH!!If you have never been to the halloween party, take it from me, the parade and the fireworks cannot be missed!!!!:yay:

Karen - I've been to Paris and Madrid but I have always wanted to see London. We have thought about it a few times but haven't made solid plans as of yet.........Maybe you could convince the DH that it is a trip that would be worthwhile for all of us, including our DS's ages 9 and 6!!!

9 and 9.30 are fine. We'll definately stop for them...I have a Keys to the Kingdom tour booked and we have to meet at 8am the next morning which means an early start. Cant wait!

Dis meet when you come to London! We're only a couple of hours away:banana:

Hey you forgot our DS, Kyle.:sad2: I know how would you have known. Well anyways tomorrow is his b-day he will be turning 11.

Happy Birthday Kyle

Just an update on DH's bosses son Mike. We went to the hospital today to see the family. Here is what happened. It was a one car accident. 6 teenage boys 17-18 years old. 2 in the front seat buckled in 4 in the back seat no one buckled. It was an older style bronco. The driver was going 60-70 in a 25 and lost control and rolled the car. All boys went to hospital. 5 out of 6 went home the same night. Mike on the other hand is still on life support, had head trama, swelling to the brain, and bleeding in the brain. Unresponsive. His mother has been told to expect the worse. I will update everyone as I get updates. Please keep praying for him.

Oh my goodness, He's still in my prayers. i hope he improves soon

Been packing for most of the day, progress is slow but sure :) :woohoo:

I sure do know that feeling:rolleyes:

Anyone else? It is allmost 7 am for you UKers, anyone up.

Its taken me an hour to catch up, I was here reading

We have 17 years worth of cr*p! We've dumped loads and sold loads but theres still tons and tons to wade through. Good luck:thumbsup2 - we keep running out of boxes!

We have been in the same house for 6 years now. I would like to move, but it will not be for a while. I would like to move somewhere that has 3 to 4 seasons, and not 2.:woohoo:

Morning Karen, I too have allways wanted to visit England/Ireland.

My dad went last year. He and his wife went to a few places, but the only place I recall of hand is Bath, and possibly Atholl. I bet we are the only people you know over her that has had Spotted D#@$ in the pantry.:goodvibes This was his second or third time there. Also my supervisor at work has been to London a couple of times. Plus the Father of my neighbors across the street where I grew up was from Liverpool.

Good morning:goodvibes

Lol over the spotted d*cks:lmao: - we do have some strange food names:rotfl:

Ok, tell us about your hometown and nearby everyone..

I'll start..

Birmingham (my city) is in the heart of the country - right in the middle. It is the uk's 2nd largest city, famous for industry many years ago. The titanic anchor chain was made about 10 minutes from where we live and another famous part is the Jewellery quarter - its an area of Birmingham with about 300 jewellery shops and makers all in a mile square. The spitfire aeroplane was made here, as was the Jaguar car. We have loads of history and old buildings and a huge new shopping mall. We are about 20 miles from Stratford on Avon and about 2 hours from London.

Next person......

We live about 50 minutes drive from Bath, and its a verey beautifull old Spa, that still has the old roman spa baths.

Swindon isnt really known for much, we have the biggest weirdest roundabout that is one big rounderbout with 5 other ones around the main one !!! That casues alot of scared drivers to almost crash ! No one knows which way to go.... its easy once you know how,and if you treat each rounderbout indidivually its fine.

We are a 40 minute drive from Oxford.
We are in the south west of England and we can drive to London in about 90 minutes ( less if traffic is clear)

Its a cool place to live cos we can get to lots of key places quite quickly, yet our house is less than 5 miutes drive into the country. Our house over looks open fieds, that are protected cos a roman coin was found on the site years ago.

Just been to body pump class... a kind of weight lifting and toning class, my shoulders are aching already!!!

got to go and tidy up now, then collect E from school to go dancing, then take her to Nan so I can work. ! phew !!!!

Bye for now.............. L X

Thanks Scott. One thing I have to say about MOST Wisconsinites is that we are not fair weather fans. We'll hang in there.

If it isn't too much to ask, I am being selfish and asking for a few little thoughts and prayers myself this morning. I'm going for my 6 month cancer check up today...in about 1/2 hour. Wish me luck....please!
