Yes Karen dear it's done nothing but rain since my Brenda went away...:sad1: :sad2: :sad1:

Oh Chris - you need to change your title - you are certainly not AFEG.

NOT TOO SURE ABOUT YOUR CHOICE OF NECKLACE THOUGH:lmao: - You might want to choose something a little less bulky next time - it makes your neck look fat:lmao: Thats what I'll be saying at lifeboat drill - "does my neck look big in this?":lmao:

Are you sure its rain falling and not your tears? missing our dear Brenda:sad:

Good morning Karen. What is your bank holiday? We also have one today and it's called Memorial Day. Banks are closed, no mail today, and most of us don't have to work today. It is a day for us to reflect on those who gave their lives in a war so that we can remain a free country.

I checked out Yahoo yesterday and found our man of mystery. Cute, aint he? :woohoo:

Nancy - I'm ashamed to say I have no idea!:rolleyes1 - Chris - do you know?

He sure is cute Nancy - its about time he posted that photo:goodvibes

Good morning Karen

All your talk of packing, reminds me that I don't miss that. We moved a couple years ago, and did the same, put the unnecessary things in a storage unit. Just to unclutter the house so you could get around. Is it this next month that you are going to be moving into the new house??

Hopefully the 15th June if not before:rolleyes: . Solicitors  - ours are pretty good, but the people whose house we're buying - theirs are useless and holding everything up. Cant wait to get there now so Ellis can get at least couple of weeks in his new school before they break up for the big 6 week holiday or he wont know anyone near his new house to play with.

Thnaks for mentioning that Chris finally posted a picture. I was on there yesterday, but didn't notice that. I do have to agree w/Karen, he by no way fits his title of AFEG. He's been foolin' us:rotfl2:

morning Carrie

Thought you were going to work, but your light is still on....is it your DH lurking in the shadows??:confused3

Got some great news today....we got that house! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Karen, I think Brenda's segway tour is booked for when we are on the cruise so if you still plan on kidnapping Plankton, he will be with us onboard the ship during their segway adventures.

I still haven't decided if I want to do the segway tour on October 17th for our anniversary. :confused3 We did it for our 7th wedding anniversary and it was a lot of fun!!!!!! Grandma & Grandpa said they would watch Kira for a few hours but I'm not sure if I want to do it again? We were the kamakazi's of our group last time, I don 't know if I can spend an entire hour in that room learning with the others....I will wanna be free and ride like the wind :rolleyes1

What is a Segway Adventure/Tour???

I'm fed up:sad2:

I have been on the internet researching what I can do for my actual birthday weekend (I'll be 40:scared: ) and I cant find anywhere:sad2: I've been hunting for ages:rolleyes:

Normally, wonderfully romantic husbands would be doing it for their wives - I mentioned it to Neil..... AND HE SUGGESTED A PARTY IN OUR NEW HOME:mad: - yeah right! - that would mean me doing all the catering and cleaning and then shampooing the carpets the day after - NO THANKS!

All I am after is a quaint hotel with a 4 poster bed and lots of wood panelling and nice food. It will be just 3 couples - couldnt stand the idea of a big party with all the relatives:scared: - my idea of hell!

Oh well, I'll just keep looking I suppose:rolleyes: I want to get dressed up, eat lots of nice food, drink lots of nice wine then stumble upstairs to a big bed:cloud9:

I found one place but it was ££££££££££:rolleyes1

I want filet mignon on a burger budget:lmao:

I am trying to find good ideas for my 40th birthday as well (only about 10 more days)....my better-half made the same suggestion "lets have a BBQ in the backyard." Which means I have to do all the cleaning, shopping and clean up afterwards - That sounds like a fun birthday present! NOT.

We will probably go for dinner somewhere with the kids - we dont do much as a couple - we prefer to do everything as a family.

But if you think of anythign cool to do - I will look forward to potentially steaing the idea (LOL)

Im here, been trying to catch up !!!! OMG!

My party is the 7th July when I have invited 7 of my best friends to my house for 6pm. Wayne and his friend are dressing in Djs and black ties and serving champagne coscktails ! we are then going by limo to Oxford ( about 40 mis from my house) to the Oxford Comedy club, we have front of row seat ...:scared1: not too sure front is a good idea, might be picked on! then we are going to a private night club and casino that I am a member of till 2am, when our limo will collect 8 drunk but happy girls 1 :thumbsup2 Ive booked it all, but told them nothing, other than they need to be at mine for 6pm. Its a kind of Thank you to them,as they have all been wonderful friends over the years.

I wanted to set up a weekend in europe, but one of my friends is a single mum, ,and has no passport, so she wouldnt be able to make it. Another mum is having a massive extension and pool put on their house,so anything tooo costly was out,if she was to come. This will still be a blast though!
My actual b day is 17th July. On that day, my oldest best mate ( who is abroad on business on the 7th,) is taking me somewhere as a surprise !

Plus Wayne is taking me on Royal Caribbean in Feb 08 just him and me

WOW THAT SOUNDS VERY COOL!

What is a Segway Adventure/Tour???

It's a very cool tour! Here's some info from wdwig.com...

Around the World at Epcot --
on a Segway!

On February 14, 2004, Epcot introduced Around the World at Epcot on a Segway, those futuristic-looking upright transportation devices on which you sometimes see Cast Members zipping around Epcot.

The tour, which lasts two hours, has been so popular that it now runs FOUR TIMES daily -- at 7:45, 8:30, 9 and 9:30 a.m. Check in 15 minutes before the scheduled tour time at the Guest Relations lobby inside the turnstiles.

NOTE: Guests are able to arrive before the 9 a.m. opening in Future World by identifying themselves as being on the Around the World at Epcot Segway tour. There is a guest list at the turnstiles. Use the same queue the Princess Storybook breakfast (Norway) guests use.

You will NOT be able to enter Epcot through the International Gateway for the 7:45am tour. You will need your own transportation to the front of Epcot and come in through Future World.

The first hour of the tour teaches safety rules and allows you to practice riding the Segway, while the second hour is a tour around World Showcase before it officially opens to visitors.

Cost for the tour is $85 (park admission is NOT included).

Some restrictions apply: Minimum age is 16 (guardian must sign a waiver for ages 16 and 17), maximum weight for participants is 250 pounds, and expectant mothers and persons with special needs may not participate due to safety concerns.

A 15 percent discount will be available for AAA and Disney Vacation Club members, as well as Annual Passholders, Disney VISA cardholders, and Disney Cast Members. A photo ID will be required at the time of the tour.

To book this new tour, call (407) WDW-TOUR. And if you take it (it sounds like fun!), let us know what you think!

Here's the post from our live trip report from 2005 with pics from our Segway Tour!
