Oh yes - forgot to mention before - I have a daft idea about something to do with the cruise but I might need a little help off some of you.

If any of you are any good at making things - either fabric or cardboard etc would you let me know? The items would only be tiny and neednt be works of art - just a bit of fun for someone who cant travel with us

I hope she doesnt see this post, but I think I'm safe cos she'll be off on her travels tomorrow so she's not likely to post til she gets back and this will be lost in hundreds of other posts so she wont notice.

Even if the kids want to get involved and help - like I say - just a bit of fun and it wont take up much room in your case.

Just finishing up a financial statement to get out to my board. Everytime I get something done, I pop over here to see what's going on.

Sorry I haven't posted in a few days...been a crappy 2 days. Had to go to the dentist, get two cavities filled, one was really deep...if I feel any pain then I have to get a root canal Took Kira last night to get her 6 month shots, which was hard enough to watch and now she has a cold. I was up all night with her. It's the first time she's been sick, OMG is it ever hard to see her go through any kind of pain! And then, as if we needed more bad news, turns out that house I really LOVED, the one we thought we got....well at the very last minute they sold it to someone else!

I've packed up most of the house and now we don't have a place to move to! It's been one of those weeks!

Feel like crawling under the covers and not coming out for a month!

I know it's not the end of the world and I guess it wasn't meant to be but lately it just seems like one thing after another ya know? I don't want to bore you all with the sordid details but it's been a tough few months...

IS IT OCTOBER YET????????? I wanna teleport to October ok?

I need some chocolate croissants....
and 20 minutes in a hot tub...
and some chicken strips....
and I am looking forward to finally getting some sleep!

Not again??? Cass, I'm so sorry to hear that it crapped out on you again. And shame on the owners..how can they keep doing that to you? That stinks and I'm sorry it happened to you, again.

Give Kira some extra hugs tonight from all the KK's and by the morning I'll bet she feels a liitle better.

Sorry to hear about the house situation. It amazes me that these people can just pull it away whenever they want.

I hear you about the shots. Suz always makes me take DS when they need to get done. She does not like seeing him in pain. He's trying really hard now that he is older not to cry. I remember when he got his flu shot in December, he said he wasn't going to cry. He didn't, but man was he holding the tears back.

A "Stud" refers to a male animal, like horses or bull, that are used for their breeding ability. They usually take the best "built" males for this purpose.

Here it is a slang term for a guy that is usually very good looking and very well put together. He is considered a "stud" because all the women want him, or so he thinks.

So I was being funny and claiming the Studley Castle was named after me because I'm a "Stud". NOT - far from it.

Hope that explains it. If not, hopefully one of the other USers can help out.

Wow, quiet night tonight. What's everyone up to?

Are you all out at the POTC3 premier at 8:00?

The polls are still open if you want to vote on the wristbands. Right now the Neon Green with no darkening is winning big as is the "Konked Kruisers - Oct '07". The count is currently at 63 bands with 15 of 17 saying they want some. Still waiting to hear from 8 DISers (regular - people who have posted in the last 4-6 months).

As for the DIS meet time, by the Mickey Pool before the life boat drill is ahead with 8 votes and Sunday morning pulling into Key West is 2nd with 4 votes. Sail Away has 3 and Terminal has 1.

From my estimates of the people who post here and whose families are coming with them, we should make up about 4% of the cruisers on this voyage, given that they are full at 2,800 people.

Not much else to update you with.

Jeff=I guess you are right. Everyone is seeing the movie. I'm here alone with the 3 kids since Scott is with Missy, Mike and their boys watching the movie.

Cass=I can't believe some people can be okay with messing with peoples lives the way they have yours. I am sure soon things will turn around for the better. It does always seem that things come in spurts and it takes a while for things to start looking up. But, they will.
I hope Kira is feeling better. There is nothing worse than seeing your kid in pain or sick. Expecially babys. They have no way of telling you exactly what is wrong. You just have to guess and hope for the best. Good Luck tonight.

Kira has a fever now, the poor thing, she hasn't slept all day and is feeling so yucky. It is really tough to see her like this.

Rob's taking care of her right now to give me a little break. Searching through houses and there is just nothing out there that suits us right now.

Can't wait to see Pirates! Maybe next week

We're still trying to decide too. This will be our 4th Western although we have only made it to both Key West and Grand Cayman twice each.

On Key West Rachel would like to have us rent one of those electric cars to drive around in but I think they only seat 4 and with our friends that are travelling with us there will be 5 of us so mybe we will use the Old Towne Trolley to get us around again. They make multiple stops and you can get on and off where you want, the trolleys come by about every 20 min. so it is a good way to get around the island. Our friends would like to get to the Butterfly Conservancy and we will definitely be going to the Blond Girraffe for some frozen chocolate dipeed Key Lime Pie on a stick, very yummy and very refreshing!

On Grand Cayman our friends are going to do the Atlantis Submarine excursion and we might join them on that and then just walk around town.

On Cozumel were not really sure at all. We might just end up walking around and doing some shopping. Al and Rachel love the "market areas" and they both love haggling to try and get the price down on what they are trying to buy

I have never been to Key West. Well let me rephrase that. DH and I have never been. When I went it was with my parents and I did not do much. What is this about Bland Girraffe and fz chocolate dipped key lime pie on a stik. This sounds so good. And about the trolley does anybody know how much that costs. We want to go to the southern most point and DH would really like to see a light house.

Lori is not a big pirate fan. I know, I know..... It's just unbelievable isn't it!! However, her husband is, as is mine, so the three of us are going to the premier tonight at 8:00 p.m. We will also be taking our sons and our next door neighbor! We can't wait!

When I get back from lunch I will tell you a little story about surprising our husbands last year for the premier of Pirates 2!

Cass - I am so sorry that you have been having a rough time. Sorry to hear about the house. That is horrible how they sold it like that. Things will get better. I know what you mean about wanting it to be Oct. yet. I really need this cruise. It seems that since the first of April my life has spun out of control. I really just need it to slow down. It sounds like you and I have had a few rough months. Hang in there with Kira. It might just be a reaction to her shots. Just spend lots of time holding her and giving her lost of hugs and kisses. I am hear for you if you need to talk.
