has anyone done the butterfly farm in Grand Cayman? If so what did you think.

I am really trying to find things that all 5 of us would like to do. I thought at least the girls would like this one.

There is no way I can catch up with all the ridiculous chatter you people manage in the course of a week. :rotfl2: Congrats on passing the 10,000 post mark! :yay:

Just wanted to let you know that Jay and I made it home safely a few hours ago and are already back in the grind...bills, laundry, yardwork.

Welcome back Brenda - we missed you:goodvibes

I don't have to do #1, #2, #4, #12, #14, #15
working on #3, #5(just waiting for everyone to respond),
no - #6
Yes - #7, #8, #9, #10, #11(done for all 5 of us), #13

I think you beet me.

Doing well:thumbsup2

Ok, I've had enough...

I too, said back in January that I only need to lose 30 lbs and I'm going to hit the eliptical every day.

Just like Cass said, If I would have stuck to it then I'd be down 30 lbs by now.

Our daughter & her boyfriend came home this past weekend for her birthday. When she came home on Friday, she brought with her a birthday cake from her co-workers. Her boyfriend surprised her with a birthday cake from her favorite bakery. And she told us she wanted a Dairy Queen Cake for her b-day.

Soooo... We had 3 cakes to eat. By Monday, we had eaten almost 2 of them. By Tuesday, I was sick of cake, so I ate healthy that day.

On Wed., at work, a co-worker was retiring. We had a department picnic at lunch. Our boss bought us Pizza and Buster Bars from Dairy Queen. And what else did we have? CUPCAKES! NOOOOO!

Thursday we had a company party all day and what did we have? CAKE! Sugar high! :headache:

Today there was a ton of cake left, so guess what we had. MORE CAKE! There was one girl in our office drinking alka seltzer all day.

One co-worker said I think I had 9 cupcakes in 2 days.

I'm ashamed to say... I think I beat her.

Guess what I'm doing from now until the cruise.
ELLIPTICAL 6 DAYS A WEEK!

Time to hit Konked Kruiser.

Robin

Sounds like a great week though;) :lmao:

Ooooh - good one! - I havent made mine yet but I have printed a load of Mickey images etc off the dis thread ready:thumbsup2

List updated - now 20 points - I'm pretty confident I wont have to buy any of you a cocktail:lmao:

Whats everyone got planned for their saturday?

Ours is half over already - 1.20pm here.

So far I have given Ellis a haircut - thank god for clippers:rolleyes1
Been to the park to play football and his remote control cyclone car
made a lovely big salad for lunch and had a 20 minute lie in the sun - first time its been sunny in weeks:cool1:

We're off out tonight with friends for a curry. I will try to choose healthy options:rolleyes1 and I'll drink water inbetween my glasses of merlot.

My legs have finally stopped aching from the exercise 2 days ago so I'll do some more before I go out tonight.

I am really trying.... I put on my bikini just to lie in the garden (poor neighbours having to see that sight!:scared1: ) and its not a flattering look:rolleyes: - I reckon its going to be one of those suck your tummy in swimsuits that takes 2 hours to get on but once its on keeps all your fat held in:thumbsup2 - only trouble is you can barely breathe in them:rolleyes: - oh well...who needs to breathe:confused3 :lmao:

If your children shout "LOOK MOMMY - THERES SHAMU IN THE POOL" remember to come over and say hello to me.

Oooooh, I have a dilemma...... sit ups or sunbathe:confused3

.......

oh come on, you knew which one I'd choose:rotfl2: - where did I put my suntan lotion?:cool1:

Steve,

Can't you delete that portion from your trip? I thought it could be. Never booked my air through DCL, but I thought I read somewhere on the DIS of people being able to drop that portion.

You are right, however, I believe that you can only do this before you are paid off. At least that is my understanding.

Just an update on Mike.

He was released from ICU today. He was moved into his own room. YIPPY:banana: He is now in stable condition. He still has not spoken. He moans but that is it, he has not written either. They do believe that he might have had a stroke while in ICU because his whole left side is extremly weak. They said he will have to undergo extensive rehabe and it can be 6 months to a year before they see how much of the "old Mike" they get back.

Thank you for your prayers and please keep praying for a easy recovery for him. The prayers are what have made him get this far.

You just gotta believe in the Power of Prayer. Thanks for making me smile this morning already. I'll keep Mike and his family in my prayers.

5. Got your distag prezzies sorted ?What?

Steve, do you want to play DIStag with us? Pg 367 Post 5496 has the explanation. We have room for two more DISers.

Whats everyone got planned for their saturday?

Running errands just like every Saturday. Heading out to the Health Food Store, Target, Bank, Garden Shop, etc....

We're off out tonight with friends for a curry.

Sounds interesting. What's a curry? I'm thinking an Indian Spice on something yummy?

I am really trying.... I put on my bikini just to lie in the garden (poor neighbours having to see that sight!:scared1: ) and its not a flattering look:rolleyes: - I reckon its going to be one of those suck your tummy in swimsuits that takes 2 hours to get on but once its on keeps all your fat held in:thumbsup2 - only trouble is you can barely breathe in them:rolleyes: - oh well...who needs to breathe:confused3 :lmao:

Oooooh, I have a dilemma...... sit ups or sunbathe:confused3

SITUPS!!!! No mention of the word sunbathe in my vocabulary anymore.:guilty:

Whats everyone got planned for their saturday?

This morning Mac and I are off to Care Day for a church, it is where we help people in the community that need, yard work, painting, light clean up, that sort of thing, then we get the older kids at 1 and it is off to clean grandmas house and swim. That is the extent of our day.

Tomorrow we will go shopping for Kyles stuff to make his autograph book.

Sounds like you have a busy weekend ahead of you. Or atleast what is left of it.

Sounds interesting. What's a curry? I'm thinking an Indian Spice on something yummy?

Yes, Indian food is very popular in England. I always have the same - onion bhaji -shreds of onion rolled into a small ball and dipped into a spicy batter and deep fried:rolleyes1

Chicken tikka - pieces of chicken breast cooked in dry spices, bombay aloo - cubes of potato in a spicy sauce.

In Birmingham we have baltis too - chicken/prawn etc cooked in a small metal dish with a spicy sauce, the dish is then bought to you and you eat from it - no plate involved - straight out of the dish.

SITUPS!!!! No mention of the word sunbathe in my vocabulary anymore.:guilty:

I know Nancy - I am a lot more aware now than I used to be. I only stayed out for 20 minutes and part of that was in the shade.

HELLO everyone im back !!!!:)
