So now I'm interested. I'm not a wine drinker but if there was a beer drinking contest, ooops, I mean Beer Tasting, I might belly up to the bar and join the boys. I also talked to my girls last night and they would be open to the Margarita Tasting, as would I. I wonder if they are all held in the same place at the same time. Cheryl? Jeff? Can you bust out a navigator and check for us please?:flower3:

I am a little scared though. All that alcohol and all those KK's in one room? That would be one heck of a DISmeet wouldn't it?:woohoo:

BTW..we still haven't decided on our first DISmeet yet have we? Or, how we will identify ourselves in the Port on the 20th. Anyone know how to do a "Poll" on our thread?:confused3

Margarita tasting sounds great to me..beer tasting too. Tequila tasting, well, I'm afraid I can't drink straight tequila anymore....

I think Neil would be interested in the beer tasting but he's not really a wine guy. Wonder if it would be possible to get the 2 running at the same time? in the same place? We'd have a bigger group so Disney might oblige.:confused3

Karen--Rob and I were talking about this exact thing a few days ago. He's up for wine AND beer tasting, but having them at the same time is an idea, too. But if they won't do 2 tastings at the same time, I am sure Neil can still attend the wine tasting for free if he is not tasting. He can go and have his big beer mug filled right before the tasting and come and enjoy the show!

Great idea:thumbsup2

Brenda--just read your latest installment....great stuff once again, girlie!:thumbsup2
Keep it coming........

Ok, as always, I am off to do laundry--ugh! Y'all have a great day.:) Brenda...rebook the cruise....

Thanks for the update B. At least you buy $30.00 worth of antenna balls to cover the head of your "child". I spend that much and more just to give mine away to the "Fast Finger Freddies" in the local parking lots.:sad2:

I didn't spend any on mine. I just took it off the antenna of a 10-year old Mercury Mystic when I was going through the parking lot at the mall. :lmao:

(that is the type of car you said you had, correct? Or at least the one your bosses old man dinged the other week.)

WOW!

Just booked our airfare for October on American... roundtrip from STL to MCO for two adults = $357 with taxes included.

AA isn't usually my first choice but there's no way I was going to beat that deal with two non-stop flights.

And, whille I appreciate the requests for Jay and me to re-book, we already spent our deposit on a concrete contract - just waiting for the rain to stop and everything to dry out before the work starts. Add that in with all the medical stuff that's already piling up and it looks like we made the right decision, even if it was painfully practical.

Thanks to all of you for being so kind and such good DISfriends. :grouphug:

I expect to see lots of pictures once this cruise is over! :thumbsup2

Wow, you got a great price! And non-stop, to boot.

Concrete contract? That sounds intense. So sorry y'all are having to go through that. Here's my unwanted advice...make sure to leave all of your worries behind when you travel back to the happy place. God knows, reality has a way of always returning, so for that little bit of time you have for vacation, put it all out of your mind, and have a great time. You must be counting down the days by now.:)

Are you close to having everything done? It is ALOT of work but it will be so worth it in the end. :thumbsup2

Oh heck no! Heheh. I've still got a ton to do, I'm actually kinda overwhelmed! But I'm excited because I get to order my veil today weee! :D The simple things excite me.

I couldn't believe the price when I saw it - I had to have a co-worker come look over my shoulder to make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me.

Foundation repair work sucks - no other way to say it. :sad2:

Great advice, Paige - we're 18 days from leaving for WDW and I'm already thinking about packing and getting everything organized. I fall alseep at night thinking about Disney...:lmao: We're both ready for a break...and for some good food and drink. I already told my doctor I'm not changing any medications until we get back. I'd rather take a risk with something I'm already familiar with than start something new and have to deal with that while we're in Florida.

I'm gonna eat anything I want and I'm gonna wash it down with all kinds of alcohol and my digestive system is just going to have to put up with that for a week. Sheeeesh...I put up my digestive system all the time, surely it can cut me some slack for seven days? ;)

Hey Brenda,

Have you looked at American? On AA.com you can go on those dates, non-stop, on MD-80 jets, for $178.80. That's pretty good.

Brenda,

Did you think I was lying to you about that price? :confused3 (just kidding)

Congrats on getting your tickets. That is a very good price from any market. I've flown American a couple times (once to StL last year actually). Haven't had any problems with them.

Now if I could just find a good beach resort near Baltimore. AirTran and Midwest both have round trip for $117 from Milwaukee. Too bad the hotels in Ocean City are over $200 per night every time I would have been able to go. I suppose I could go to DC from there.

I don't know when you were thinking about going, but we had looked at going as soon as school was out, thinking that it wouldn't be as busy, w/the east coast still being in school. At that time AirTran & MW were both $99.00 RT. But the same as you couldn't find much for lodging.

I see just posted from someone that has just gotten off a cruise, that parasailing is now available again.:yay:

Janice

Thanks for your PM Heather :thumbsup2

Well done Rosie.................. thats amazing !
Chris what a week of football:thumbsup2 triumph youve had :)

Actually it is $98 RT, but with the taxes it comes up to $117. Great price either way though.

Hey everyone, sorry I didn't post it when it happened, but we are now officially in 13th place for the most posts for a cruise meets thread.

I hope so! And I hope it stays on during our cruise. We're really looking forward to doing that again!:dance3:
