We live in Virginia. I work very close to Quantico. I can't remember who is moving there but welcome to VA!!!!!! Let me know if I can help with any info. i work with 2 ladies who's husbands are there.
Has anyone picked out excurisions yet? We are having a tough time finding ones the Julia can go also. Any suggestions?

Hi Lori. We're across the river from you, here in Charles County, Maryland. Hasn't the weather been crazy lately? 80's one day, then snow a few days later. I've been hearing talk of some snow showers Sunday into Monday. Spring just needs to make up it's mind and get settled in already!

I have to admit it... Jay and I are hotel snobs - as far as our income and vacation budget will allow. We've been spoiled by DVC, that's a fact!

Champagne taste on a micro-brewery beer budget - that's us!

B - I totally understand what you're saying. We are hotel snobs too! When we first started going to Disney, it was All Stars. Then as we stayed more, we moved up to Port Orleans Riverside (aka Dixie Landings to us!) Let me tell you, the first time we stayed at the Poly, pretty much sealed it for us. And we love our DVC! Sure wish we had points at BCV. We can't even get a stay there for Oct trips anymore. Last year, we were on a waitlist for the whole 7 months prior to our visit, and it never cleared! We booked WL at the 11 month mark, and that's where we ended up staying. Luckily we got into BCV for our upcoming May trip.

Nancy, When you go to print out the table, choose landscape in your print settings, that will print it out like you want it. I had made a similar file in Word with photos of the KK's and uploaded about a month ago to the "files" area of the KK site.


I will be calling WDW Dining tomorrow as I can make all my ADR's for my trip!

Here's mine:

10th- Crystal Palace (love this place, food is awesome!)

11th- Rainforest Cafe DD (this will be our first time to the one at DD)
Ohana's (never been, looking forward to this one!!)

13th- Chef Mickeys (always a fave!)

15th- Le Cellier (was my fave food ever!!!!)

16th- 50's PT ( love this place, just not the food so much)
Sci-Fi (Ditto 50's PT comments above)

17th - Still deciding...it's our 9th wedding anniversary...


We will be doing MNSSHP on the 14th, I can't wait!!! Hallowishes is the BEST!!!!!!!


We spent a few nights at Royal Pacific last time and I fell in love with the place We aren't doing Universal this trip so we won't be going back but I look forward to that day!!!!

So has anyone heard more about the parasailing on CC?? Someone had posted that they were cancelling it? Wonder if that's true?

Looking forward to seeing the changes to Spaceship Earth too!!

Last 3 holidays have been for 3 weeks and we have had the same villa in Windsor palms

Linda - we've stayed at Windsor Palms twice and it's a great location and so much better when you have a whole house to spread out into and not just one room. We're tempted with staying at one of the Universal Hotels, especially for the front of line tickets. You'll have a great time, I'm sure. Don't forget to kill some aliens for me on MiB.

As for the ADRs - they sound great for a little one! We're going to try Crystal Palace in October since so many people say such great things about it.

Do any of you know how to convert my new spreadsheet on Yahoo to one that would print in Landscape form? I printed it out and it could be easier to read if it printed out differently.

Any ideas?

Don't print the list using the 'printer' icon. Select 'file' from your task bar, the select 'page setup', and then select 'landscape'. Now you can print the file using the printer icon.

Hope my ramblings helped. It definately looks better as Landscape!

The reason why im up at this crazy time 1.35am
Ive just booked a night at The HARD ROCK for us, so we can get 2 days of FOTL access................... all this talk got me worried about Q ing.... so I ve booked us a room ( a bit dumb, cos we are playing for a Disney room too, ) but its for one night and we will have a blast !

Lindy - I was in bed last night thinking of doing it and you were up actually doing it - now you've done the research I can pick your brains! - who did you book through? and if you dont mind me asking - how much for the night?

I dont wanna be in a massive Universal queue and see every other konker going past smirking holding their fotl passes

We too have already paid for all the hotels,but if I decide to do Universal then we might book a room. I dont care what it looks like or even what the pool is like really, we just hit the parks and get the rides done then scoff our way through some restaurants menu til we collapse in bed

We got a STORMING price for tickets 21 Disney pass Adults £170 Child £147, for 21 days !!! ( Cos the cruise is in the middle!) From Caroline at Attraction tickets..... Tel 0845 1303876 we used them before they we tops! Arrived recodrded delivery within 2 weeks of ordering, actual tickets, and no charge for using C card!

We paid $349 for a deluxe room, stadard rooms were £269 plus tax, but on the date we wanted were not available ( as we will only crash there, we wanted the cheapest option) I am a Loews memeber so will get free wine and nuts in room !

I look at it this way book it, you can always cancel up to a week before for no charge................ thats what we did. Also As its Oct and busy with halloween and Coloumbus day etc, I would book sooner rather than later.
Elouise fav parks are MK, Then IOA then Universal, then the other 3 Disney parks............... so this is a great thing for us.



Heather I will be sure to MISS a few aliens at MIB! I need a cheat, as Wayne always beats me and takes it soooooooooooooo seriously!

As promised, here are the rules of the DIStag game for the new Konked Kruisers.

I think we need to set a deadline for participating as some of our KK's are leaving home up to 2 weeks before cruising and they'll need the updated list. So how does Sept 1st sound? Anyone wanting to play with us will have to let us know by then. Fair enough?



All DIStag participants will purchase a small gift from their hometown to give to all taggers. We will receive a spread sheet made up by your's truly, at our first DISmeet (time and place still to be determined). In addition to the spread sheet you will receive some sort of magnet. The list will look something like this:

JLDSMD Jeff Cabin 1234
cntkg1 Nancy Cabin 6576
oybolshoi Brenda Cabin 6580 (I'm STILL not giving up )
LindyLoo Linda Cabin 4321
etc.....

You will start with the person listed directly below your name. Deliver your "gift" and leave the magnet at the top of their cabin door. Should your "gift" be too large to fit in the 'fish mail holder', locate any Stateroom Host/ess and request they take your gift directly into the room. When someone leaves you a gift and the magnet, deliver your surprise and received magnet to the next person on your list-and so on. When you get to the last person 'participating' at the bottom of the page (LindyLoo in our example)...start at the top of the list (JLDSMD). Continue until you get to the person listed above YOUR name.

So if I've still managed to confuse you, this is the skinny of it all...

Jeff takes one of his gifts and his magnet. He tags Nancy's door with the magnet and puts his gift on the 'fish mail holder'. Now he waits until someone tags his door. (In our example LindyLoo would start with Jeff). He will take that new magnet and a new gift and tag Brenda's door. He waits again until he gets tagged and then tags Linda's door and leaves behind a gift.

So this means if we have 20 DISers who want to play tag, we will each have to bring 20 little gifts.

We have all week to play and we'd probably cut it off on Thursday. Any leftover gifts at that point can just be left on fish mail holders without tagging with the magnets.

When we played this on our other cruise the gifts were anything from personalized pencils, bumper stickers, candy, yummy hometown recipes (Yorkshire pudding mmmmm), keychains, playing cards etc.... Most were packed in gift baggies and labeled with the name of the DISer who left it behind.

It really was tons of fun (for us anyway) and we only ran into one snag. One DISer's entire family got sick and he had to bail on us halfway through the game. We all just continued on anyway without the magnets.

Brenda, does this sound like I covered everything?

If you'd like to play, just add your name to the "DIStag" table on the Yahoo site and edit to answer "Yes" to the DIStag column on the "Konked Kruiser Inventory" table on Yahoo.
