Last day of school for Ellis - that means no gym for me for nearly 3 weeks and I'll be tempted to eat rubbishy treats like McDonalds and burger king.




I have ironing to do - but I'm not going to do it - I like creased clothes - its trendy




I'm killing time til my friend comes over with baby Jack - Looking forward to cuddles - I have to beg for a kiss off my own son these days so I take kisses off anyone whose offering lately - go on Jeff - comment away - I know it came out wrong

In the states we drink our "bubbly" and then try to "squeak" it by the boss.

Well in are house bubble and squeak is left over vegetables and mash potatoes chucked in the frying pan with a knob of butter...

ps...Which has been known to lead to the odd "squeak" the following day but as my friend Karen is LADY am sure that's not something Karen would know anything about

Off to go with my friend and her 5 yr old daughter to get daughters ears pierced for her birthday treat. She has been asking ALL year, and friend has agreed, but is now too chicken to go alone! E had hers done before she was 1, so thinks all girls have earrings! Glad we did it then she cant rememeber a thing. I guess Beths ears will be red for a while ! ouch !

Had mine done when I was 17 and it hurt like hell

Making another cruise payment today. Just three more to go! Can't believe how much closer it's getting! It's been over a year now since we've had this booked. A whole year has gone by! Unbelieveable!

Gonna get mushy here. Mushy alert!

I'm so glad to have met all of you here! What a great bunch of friends we've made! And I haven't even met any of you!

OK, mushiness over, back to our regular craziness!

Bubble and squeek - as Chris said - left over veggies - eg - carrots, sprouts, cabbage, parsnips etc etc - fried up (I dry fry them - no butter for me - I'm a good girl! ) sprinkle a bit of cheese on top and wait til everything goes a bit brown and crunchy - its delicious. Its lovely with a blob of brown sauce - dont know if you have HP sauce in USA - sort of like spicy brown ketchup.

Try it - you'll like it - really filling and hardly any calories cos its all veggies

Not mushy at all Tina- I feel exactly the same way - we have such a lovely bunch of "Konkers" to cruise with

It is great when you pay off some of the balance isn't it! - we nearly have enough to pay off the Virgin part of it - flights, car hire and hotel etc- it seems more "real" when the balance eads zero!

Healthy because it's veggies and you don't use butter?! The deep frying gonna kill you.

Based on your analysis I can eat McD fries everyday because it is a potato and it is deep fried without butter.
