Brenda, give me that link to the beginnings of The Grimace story..
I'm up for some humorous reading

Ok, you asked for it!

The Grimace is christened...

This link will take you to page 10 in my October food report, scroll down to post #142 - Cape May Character Breakfast. You'll have to read the entire post before you find out where the nickname came from.

Hope you enjoy it. :goodvibes

Ok, I really can't get myself in the mood to exercise...
and forget about the healthy veggies and water and and and YUCK!!!!!

Bring on the greasy McDonald's fries and lots of Chili's Boneless Buffalo wings with loads of blue cheese and of course Presidente Margaritas and oh, fattening vanilla lattes from Starbucks, and hmmmmm I could think of lots more sinful things too, especially while I'm being lazy and catching up on my episodes of Grey's Anatomy, Lost and House...oh, and Medium. Or finishing up HP book 5.

Don't want to do exercises and chores and eat right.....NO FUN!

Ok, but I have to go out and rake the yard now.
That counts as exercise too!
How much chocolate can I eat and how many glasses of wine can I have if I rake for one hour???????

You still need to finish HP #5??? :scared1:

That means you need to read HP #6 before July!! Get a move on woman!! ;)

Ok, Brenda, I read that part where you've introduced Grimace. (nicknames that I would think of to call my mother I could never post on these boards!:rotfl2: )
A very good likeness except for the non-purpleness.
I'll have to read more of your reports....they are very entertaining!:thumbsup2

Oh, and I only have about 20 pages left in HP 5....So I'll be starting HP 6 probably Sunday night...plenty of time till July!
Or shall I catch up and watch all the movies before then too?

HP 6 Is my favorite book of the series so far - really well written and entertaining. :thumbsup2

And thanks for reading, me, too! If you want to see more of the Grimace check out the Argie-Bargie link in my signature - that's the actual trip report for the October trip. I'm halfway finished with it (I tend to wordiness...who would've guessed?).

Have a good one! :goodvibes

Nancy, Chuck's aunt and the rest of y'all are in my prayers.:grouphug:

In fact, I just want to thank everyone again for all the positive thoughts y'all have sent my way concerning my dad. He is doing great! He's driving again and running errands with my mom. He will return to work on Easter Monday, so it looks like he is pretty much back to normal...in fact better than normal, for him!:goodvibes

Paige - that's just great news. Amazing sometimes how quickly the human body can recover! Good for your Dad! :thumbsup2

Wow we're a talkative bunch today.

We're up to #18 and only 43 away from #17.

I think we'll have them by the end of the weekend.

#16 is still a few hundred away, but you guys still have over 6 months. Maybe you can push to that 10,000 level. :thumbsup2

Ok, I just had to chase a bird out of my house!!!!

It is a little warm today so we have the doors open to air out the house. Well, my boys don't understand that the screen door needs to be closed when the "big door" is open. Luckily I noticed the little bird before it flew all over the house. The last time I had a bird in the house, it took me 30 minutes to shoo it out with a broom while trying to stop my dog (Moose) from getting it! Looking back, it was quite funny, but I was freaking out when it was actually happening. Rob got a big kick out of it, though, because I would call him every couple of minutes screaming about a stupid little bird that was scaring the you know what out of me!:rotfl:

Ugh, it looks like our neighbors are gearing up for another late night party. I swear those guys think they live on a college campus. They usually come from another party to my neighbor's house, all arriving after about 1am, rather loudly, and in very loud trucks. The cops have been called many times, but every weekend, it starts over again. I REALLY can't stand those guys. There's absolutely no talking to them about it. They're just a bunch of the most disrespectful morons you could imagine. We get some peace in the winter time when it's too cold to be out, but as soon as it turns warmer, they're out there. Every weekend, week after week after week...

OK, need to go to my happy place. :headache:

You guys need a bump, so here I is to provide it.

Have a great weekend everyone and Nancy, your family is in our thoughts.

Good morning everyone:banana: and a very happy saturday to you.:goodvibes

Tina - hope the party didnt go on for too long:sad2:

Paige - wow! - your Dad has certainly had a speedy recovery - well done him:goodvibes I would have loved to see the bird incident:lmao:

Brenda - just followed the link and found the Grimace photo:lmao: :lmao:

Nancy - hope things are ok with Chucks Aunt:hug: - she was in my prayers last night.

Jeff - we'll be number 1 before we travel:cool1: - just let me know how many more we need and I'll just zap off a few thousand posts to catch up;)

Well, I am happy to report I can now touch my nose without "ouching".:headache: The swelling has gone and I look half normal again:eek:

Happy weekend everyone:goodvibes

OOOOHHHHH - TEMPTING - first post on a shiny new page:idea:

No-ones about:idea:

I only need another 14 posts to be Mrs 311:banana:

You do understand that I'd only be doing it to help our post count for Jeff so we move up a slot to 17:rolleyes1

Does big writing make the page fill up quicker:confused3

What about big gaps between the sentances:confused3

Thats gotta use up a lot of space surely:confused3

How am I doing Jeff?

I could singlehandedly get us to slot 17:angel:

But if I did you'd all have to read more of this rubbish:lmao:

I'll let someone else have a go now..........

Any takers?

Are these gaps working:confused3

Where are the UK CRUISERS?:confused3

Stop pretending you have a life and get posting:laughing:

I'm sitting here with Ellis' Easter hat on - he's asked me to wear it all day:eek:

Photos later - just dont be drinking when you see it or your keyboard will be soaked

Heather have you seen anything about REPO t-shirts yet?....:)

NO, but I only scan through the resumes on page 1. Perhaps Mike has something to report on them.

Only a quick post today. I've got a heap of ironing to do. :laundy:

Heather

Oops, sorry Karen, I broke up your page.

Have a good day everyone.
