I wish Karen,am on funeral duty today my late mother's sister DH Frank,he was 86 and they'd been married 62 years (without parole )She's my favorite aunt and a real character and she's STILL a real looker even at the age of 85,turns out shortly after they married my aunt met someone she's dated as young girl who she believed was killed in France and instead of leaving frank she continued to see this fella right up until his death 3 years ago and Frank KNEW THIS,My dad once asked Frank why he put up with this situation his answer blow my dad away "when god made Marie as beautiful as he did i always knew I'd couldn't expect to have her all to myself"....

ps...Ain't it great finding out these great stories all family must have?,My sister saw them together last week and said they loved one another right until the end,did my aunt invent the open marriage?....

Ahhhhhhhhh, wow true romance . She's been lucky having 2 men love her

Good morning everyone. I just have time for a quick hello 8 months from today we will be boarding the Magic We always do a "countdown" email with our friends from NY that we cruise with so I just sent them the 8 month anniversary email.

I am so behind here I am sure I probably have pages and pages and pages to read to get caught up and I'm not sure how soon I'll be able to do that, might not be until next week. Last week was crazy at work and then we had a busy weekend and this weekend is when I go up to northern WI by my sister and brother-in-law to help out for the Birkie cross-country skin race. I need to get going to work.

Not the best of days for me today but i did get to cheer up a very tired old lady because as my sister thought I'd be unable to attend today she'd already made my excuses so when my aunts "Laurence" (her nickname for me after Laurence of arabia,because when i was younger i'd ring my mum from some far off s**t tip ever week )made a late enterence her old face lit up the whole church and i got an old lady to forget the very reason she was there if only for a split second anyways....

Yah - Cheryl reminded us that it's just 8 more months til our cruise. That's great! I was listening to some "on hold" music on the phone today, and it just reminded me of the music you hear on the ship walking around. Sort of that 40's, or Swing sort of sound. Really had me wanting to be on the ship RIGHT NOW!

Still can't get Sammie potty trained. It's just hopeless. She's so stubborn. She's going to be in college, in diapers. I just know it!

Not much to add here. Just wanted to bump us up. We were on the bottom of page 1.

Cass, I always wanted to bite her little cheeks, but those legs...I want to squeeze one of those now.

Well, I guess it's official now. My kids will be joining us on the cruise. We booked their cruise, flights, hotels and car rental. Got a quote on a kennel for the pooch too. Nothing left to do except get them to pay back my Disney Visa. I hope those tax returns get here quickly.

So, if this works, here are the kids. From left to right....Jesse (26 in March), DD Kristin (23 in June), Stacy (24) and DS Tony (26) at the Polynesian Luau last year.

Sorry, not a very clear picture is it?? I think I need Cass's camera if I want clear pictures!!

Nancy - lovely news about your kids cruising - the more the merrier!

Cass - oh my god - you are gonna have to hide that baby or I'm gonna keep her. She is just the cutest little munchkin

Tina - we had problems potty training Ellis - he just wasnt interest for ages. We gave up and the one day I just said "forget it... you tell me when you want out of these stinky nappies and into big boy pants." Said no more about it and put the potty in the corner out of the way. Within 2-3 days he'd decided on his own that he wanted to try. Cos it was "his" decision he tried and within the week he was dry day and night. A little "reward prezzie" works well too!. Wrap up something in a big box with ribbons and bows - make it look extra special. Put it somewhere she can see and explain to her that when she is dry in big girl pants she gets to open the prezzie cos she's such a clever big girl and you're proud of her. Yeah - its bribery but who cares - worked for us

It wasnt that Ellis couldnt do it - it was laziness and he didnt have an incentive. - That box sure was a good incentive. A nice and bright and visual reminder that she has to choose to try or leave the prezzie on that shelf.

Thanks Karen,Do you know any good looking fellas (no am not having some kinda mid life thing)about 25 to 35?, you see am supposed to be going to a wedding in the caribbean in October and because of me and some friendly advice the said wedding is now in major doubt due to the fact we dont a bloody groom

Hi folks

Just spent the afternoon on ebay - selling not buying for a change!

We are still "de-cluttering" and making money . Sold loads of Ellis' baby stuff, toys, clothes etc - up to £125 so far and loads still to go.

How did we all manage before p.c.'s? I do everything online. Even just paid my tax disc online. Thank god for technology - even if I dont understand half of it. I just need to wait a year or two then Ellis will teach me

Good news on the house - the lady who came last night is coming back with her daughters tomorrow then I think she will offer

We have a property to view on Friday ourselves so it could all be going smoothly - am I tempting fate by saying that? - I take it all back just incase.

Chris - sorry - I only know one handsome guy and he's all mine! - Its easy to see because he has "SOLD" tatooed on his head

ps- its not time to go,..but it IS time to pack

Brenda - I caught Neil watching the woman gym instructor today at the poolside doing my aqua class. When he realised he'd been caught he started laughing and nearly fell off the treadmill. Then it was my turn to laugh.

Getting closer all the time. Went to AAA yesterday and paid off my cruise. The countdown begins in earnest!
