Oh Chris you are sooo spot on!! I have had a sneaky lay in... we are now rushing around packing up to go to my Mums in Brighton, Sussex till Fri, just me and Elouise. Dad has to work ! ;)

Wayne returned safe and sound, but worse for wear at 5am.,... apparantly, I was obviouosly in the land of nod! He looked very rough all day sun according to Elouise, and he had to take her to a birthday party then kick boxing, where the instructor got him to "help out" and hold the mat, for the kids to kick. Great with a hangover ! No outragous stories, or not that I have been told. I didnt check his bum for tatoo! :rotfl:

Well I wont be on line now till Fri, so bye everyone have a great week, Keep us on page ONE !!

xxxxxx

PS Racel Elouise just posted on the kids thread, took about 30 mins to type 2 lines !!!:rotfl2:

Linda, have a great getaway with your DD and mom (mum).:cutie:

Chris, Was the Turkish Dwarf the same guy as your "Adolf Hitler"??? :rotfl:

Jeff, I notified DCL that there are a few passengers who may be trying to smuggle some laser pointers onto the ship. I was assured that anyone caught with one will be gagged and bound and made to watch the rest of us eating fresh shrimp. I also mentioned your name as the "godfather of the pointers" and DCL assured me once again that you are now on their black list for future cruises. :thumbsup2

Karen, how's the house selling going? Don't listen to Chris about the buns in the oven. It's too close to cruising time and I believe there is a ban of pregnant ladies in the cruising rules.

Cheryl, Jesse pre-registered for the Birkie and will call me with his number. I'll post it here as soon as I get it so you can be sure to toss a banana or two his way. No fair aiming for his head. You may be meeting him in October and he never forgets a "tosser".

Paige, we were originally planning on staying at the Marriott in Cocoa Beach on Friday night. Now since the kids are "thinking" of joining us, we may have to rethink that decision and switch to the Hyatt airport. Chuck and I are flying out of Milwaukee non-stop to Orlando. The kids couldn't find any direct flights from Milw on Friday so they may fly out of Chicago instead. A nice cheap flight was found but it doesn't arrive in Orlando until Friday, late afternoon. I don't feel like sitting around the airport for hours with all our luggage waiting for them all. Checking into the Hyatt may just be the most convenient thing for us. Costly, yet convenient.

Brenda, Yup, we have a heat wave forcasted for Wisconsin mid week. We may be hitting 39 on Wednesday. By Saturday, 45. I can just see all of us crazy Wisconsinites this weekend. We'll be in our driveways in shorts and t-shirts washing our cars, golf courses will be open, and our car windows rolled down. :dance3:

Sorry people. This is what happens to me when I can't sleep and pop a sleeping pill at 3:00 am!! I ramble, and ramble and ramble..........

Good advice, you can hardly expect your prospective house buyers to simply but a bun in Karen's oven can you? :rolleyes1

I'm waiting for one of our English friends to pounce on Nancy's use of the word "Tosser." :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

C'mon AFEG, this seems like the perfect opportunity for you to say something amusing (again). ;)

Er am trying to think of something that won't make my friend Nancy blush....:rotfl2:

A tosser could also be accused of "tossing the Kaber" or "strangling the monkey"..Oh i can't go on:lmao: ......Let's just say it's a young boy soon to be man thing.....:rotfl2:

Hi everyone:wave2:

Just a quick hello.

Another young couple just left from viewing - she couldnt stop smiling and was already talking about where her stuff would fit etc so that looks promising!

My hubby just called. He drives past the house we like regularly and was bothered about a car that always seemed to be parked outside "our new house" but not on the driveway. Well, he refused to buy the house on the grounds that some "tosser" could park his car outside our house and partly block the drive - bad cos we have 3 cars between the 2 of us to park.. Today it was on the drive so it must belong to the owners anyway:banana: . Phew! - thats pleased him cos it means it'll go when they do! - sorry - bit of a ramble but I'm chuffed:yay: .

ps - Ellis went back to school today -  - normality rules!

You guys heard it here. Nancy ratted me out, so now I won't be sailing with you. Guess I don't have to contemplate cancelling. Thanks Nancy for making my decission for me. :thumbsup2

Hum Nancy? Did you check Air Tran's website?

I just went on there and they have non-stops to FL for $195.80. They have two flights listed each way. On Fri 10/19, they have 8:00 a.m. - 11:36 a.m. and 2:50 p.m. - 6:28 p.m. Returning on Sun 10/28, they have 11:40 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. and 6:58 p.m. - 8:45 p.m.

They could come back on the later flight on Sat 10/27 if they wanted. The earlier flight that day is $60 more, plus you'd have to rush to the airport.

Midwest also has seats leaving on Friday 10/19. If they come back on 10/27 it would be $288. Coming back on Sun 10/28 would be $312 unless they connected through Kansas City, then it would be $239. If they wait until Mon 10/29, they can go non-stop both ways for $216.

Not sure what you were looking at. Maybe something came up this morning on the airlines. :confused3

See, I help you out and what do you do? Report me to the DCL authorities. :lmao:

Nancy, your Disney night sounds a bit like mine....my father-in-law napped through most of both videos, the kids were running around or demanding we go NOW and they left early and I still had a whole page of stuff to go over  Oh well, we still have time, I can bore them another night :lmao:

Those darn non-Disney people huh? :rolleyes1

If you like I can burn you a dvd of my videos and slideshows and send it to you. I can't believe you still have dial up...I would DIE!! I have super high speed and I still curse at it!!!

Just taken this of one of other threads...

"They also have a specialty coffee machine for lattes, capuccinos, etc. Most importantly, the NL lounge is staffed all day with a concierge"

Now I might be a thick here, but what is the NL lounge?

Heather

Staying at the port is easy and inexpensive. We stayed at the Radisson at the Port and had a two room suite for $156. You can get smaller rooms for lower prices but we figured it was our last night to have a bedroom to ourselves for a while so we wanted the privacy. You do not need to book the cruise package to get the free shuttle or the free car parking. If you want more ideas you can go to Mousesavers.com and she has a whole section on staying near the port. If you do choose the Radisson make sure you book your shuttle as soon as you book your room. The early shuttles to the port fill up early. We were on the first shuttle at 10 am and were checked into our cabin and received KTTK cards by 11 am and were on the ship by noon.

We are stying at WDW the night before and using a limo service because we have too many people for a rental car and because we are DVC nd we have not used our 2007 points. (for the first time ever I am not a year ahead on my points and we actually banked some. I am having the Disney DT's right now)

Last year we were at WDW as on Tuesday and on our Cruise Saturday, I need a fix badly

Haven't seen Cheryl on here lately, hope everything is OK, her daughter is very active on the kids site.

Have a nice afternoon

Judy:cool1: :hippie:

Just an FYI....Country Inn & Suites has a rate of $89 right now. It has to be paid in full when you book, though.

Hope you are all having a nice President's day....It's beautiful here in Monterey. DH is at the beach with our boys; Emily and I are stuck in the house...she can't seem to get over this cold/bronchitis/sinus infection thingy!

:cutie: I know it is great in CA, I wish I was there. My sister used to live in Huntington Beach and I have a brother who lives in Pleasanton, CA. Are you still in the USMC? My brother is a Navy Pilot (without a base) they closed his base 2 years ago and since he has gone reserves he drives to LA for his duty. He will be retiring in 3 more years with 25 years in.

I really miss our trips to CA and the lovely weather, enjoy it while you can they may send you someplace frigid.

Have a good night

Judy

Yes, my DH is in the USMC. We're moving to Quantico, VA in June, and plan to retire from there in 4 years. (In what seems like a lifetime ago, my DH was a pilot as well. Well, stillis I guess, he just doesn't fly anymore.):cool1:

Yes, the weather is mild in the winter here, but it is chilly in the summer. We live on the central coast.....I think there is just something very wrong when you have to wear polar fleece in June.:confused3

I see you are in Wisconsin. My DBIL is from Superior, Wisconsin, but he and my DSis live in Louisiana. He tells us stories about how cold it gets there...scary to me!:scared1:

Happy pancake day everyone:banana:

Confess - who's going to be scoffing them later:rolleyes1

I wish Karen,am on funeral duty today my late mother's sister DH Frank,he was 86 and they'd been married 62 years (without parole:scared1: )She's my favorite aunt and a real character and she's STILL a real looker even at the age of 85,turns out shortly after they married my aunt met someone she's dated as young girl who she believed was killed in France and instead of leaving frank she continued to see this fella right up until his death 3 years ago and Frank KNEW THIS,My dad once asked Frank why he put up with this situation his answer blow my dad away "when god made Marie as beautiful as he did i always knew I'd couldn't expect to have her all to myself"....

ps...Ain't it great finding out these great stories all family must have?,My sister saw them together last week and said they loved one another right until the end,did my aunt invent the open marriage?....:rotfl2:
