Judy,

whenever you see colored text underneath someone's user name that is a tag. It usually happens when a moderator reads a post you make that he or she thinks is memorable or funny.

No bloody chance of us Brits getting a tagging then is thier, maybe Karen on one of her better days or Heather with of her posh one liners me and Lindy loo? ain't a hope in hell......:sad2: :sad1: :sad2:

ps...Happy birthday Paige..:)

Hi there, on another thread there is a lot of talk about "checking the price of your cruise" in case it goes DOWN!!!! and IF it does, how you can re negotiate your price.
question..... where do I find the cruise prices for this cruise? Other than going to Dreams and asking for another quote, but you have to input lots of info etc. I thought there was a site where you wacked in a date etc and the the price pops up.

Any ideas from our experienced cruisers?

Doubt it will go down for us, as we booked on board so got a great deal.

Lindy - I checked a week or so ago and my lowly cat 11 has gone up around $300. I just went online and got a quote for a cat 11 sailing on our dates and compared our price to the current one:confused3

Dont worry - we'll both be upgraded for free to concierge either side of Chris and keep him awake all night:rotfl:

Again, Chris...you are too, too funny!!

AFEG, I'm flattered...really. ;)

I'm not sure that I can actually make any money with what I do...based on the lack of response from people who don't "know" me, it looks like I suck. Talk about a tough board. :confused3

Oh well, I usually do that stuff more for Jay and me than anything else.

And yes...after the last few weeks of 0 for low temps and 18 for the high I am totally ready to break out the vacation gear!

Did you guys all hear about the salmonella outbreak in the Peter Pan peanut butter? I can home from work Thursday night and every single jar in my pantry had the recalled product code on it! :scared1:

Now I think I know why I've been feeling so crappy (pardon the expression... :lmao: ).

By the way, AFEG, I'd give you a tag if I had that kind of omniscent power at the DIS - you say something funny every time you post. :thumbsup2

OH GEEZ! - we've been driving round all morning looking at houses, came home and had a quick lunch then I sent Neil into the loft to start the mamouth task of going through boxes:scared1: (if you saw our loft you'd realize I probably wont see him til April.) Well, he was chucking bags and binliners and boxes down and I was opening them and disgarding or keeping etc. Imagine the sight - boxes everywhere, baby toys and clothes etc everywhere (they'll be on ebay later;) and the doorbell rings. Go down covered in dust only to find a buyer at the door.:scared1: The agent was meant to phone back to let me know if the woman was going to view or not - she didnt:mad: . How embarrassed was I:sad2: The place on a normal day would have been fine - tidy even, but today:scared1:

Then to top it all off Ellis decides he needs the loo right in the middle of me showing her the upstairs:rolleyes:

The best of it all - she wants to come back with her mom to have a second viewing!:lmao: :lmao: My god! - what couldshe have seen previously to think this was ok:confused3

Ok, thats all for now.....back in the boxes I go....

Karen, she's probably coming back because she knows what it's like to actually live in a house rather than a showpiece. Maybe you've got a smart potential buyer on your hands! :goodvibes

I've never understood the marketing of homes that are for sale...should it be clean and well maintained? Yes. Should it look like the people who live there shuffle around with kleenex boxes on their feet and latex gloves on their hands? No.

Good luck with everything!

Just taken this of one of other threads...

"They also have a specialty coffee machine for lattes, capuccinos, etc. Most importantly, the NL lounge is staffed all day with a concierge"

Now who did i think of when reading this bit i wonder....:rotfl2:

Lindy loo did Wayne make it home? :rolleyes1

Jeff is their anything we can do (without breaking the law, sorry if that sounds a bit wimpy but am into watching series two of prison break and i play with no man's hankie chief if you know what i mean:rolleyes1 )why not try something like DCL is being bought by the Mexican government to show all future illegal immigrants just what is waiting for them in the USA and this will be your last chance to cruise in the caribbean a board the Magic Before they take over....Must go as 24 is about to start,24? it's another of the bloody crazy American programs Ive now started to watch along with STARGATE,STARGATE ATLANTIS,24,PRISON BREAK... Oh i almost forgot LOST,you know the program Ive watched for the last 3 bloody years and am still no nearer knowing what the hell is going on.....please someone put me out of my misery...Why did the polar bear try to eat jack in the middle of the jungle?.....:scared1:

I just wanted to thank everyone for the birthday wishes!:thanks:

Rob and I and the kids had a nice dinner followed by a short shopping trip to Target. I found shirts for my boys for formal and semi formal night, and a skirt for DD for pirate night/semi formal night--really cute black eyelet skirt. Eyelet fabric seems to be the new style....Last week we found a really cute white sundress made of eyelet fabric--It makes her think she is in style and grown up and still reminds me of when she was little.:cutie:

Sorry to ramble; I had a little time on my hands before hitting the gym to work off last night's dinner.:scared1:

Brenda, keep that trip report coming, girl!:surfweb:

Cass, How did your Cruise Party go last night? We had one too for DD and her DBF. Made them watch every tape we had but I think I went too far when I busted out the flip chart!!:lmao:

I put out bowls of fresh fruit (thank you to Sams Club for having grapes the size of golfballs), raspberries the size of grapes, grape tomatoes double in size. Chuck was wondering if they were the same size as last years kidney stone he passed.:rotfl2: I think the heirs of Sams Club are injecting their fruits and veggies with steroids.

Even with all that healthy stuff to eat to keep their minds completely clear to listen and absorb every word I spoke, I notice Jesse nodding off and Kristin getting comfortable with her head in his lap with a pillow over her face so I couldn't tell if she was sleeping. PUNKS!!! Don't they know how serious this all is??:confused3

DS was supposed to come over today to talk a little more about it but I think his lovely little sis tipped him off and he's nowhere to be found now. :tiptoe:

So Cass, here's a question for you. Did you ever think about renting out your cruise video and cruise pics on your website? Since we are still plagued with "dial up", watching your video and getting passed pictures #18 were impossible. I even left my computer alone all night hoping I'd find all the pictures this morning. Nope...still stuck on #18 and the video won't even start up for me. I suppose when Kristin comes home from her third straight weekend of wedding dress shopping for her future SIL we can all gather around her laptop and enjoy the benefits of high speed internet service and take a close look at your site.:surfweb:

O.K., now everyone, remember to bring you laser pointers and when Nancy goes through how to play "tag", just keep shining her all over with the lights. It will be like the chimps on the Monster.com ad (or whatever add it was). :lmao:

You better notify DCL that we will need A/V equipment for your DIS meets. :rotfl2:

Brenda,

I noticed that we are both staying at the BCV's before the cruise. Maybe we'll meet up some evening in the hot tub by the Dunes pool. This is one of my favorite things to do, I put the kids to bed or in front of the TV and go down to the hot tub to relax for a while. ( without constantly hearing someone yell for me)

We are also owners at both BCV & SSR and like them both for different reasons but if going during F & W you have to stay at BCV. We always ask for a Dunes pool view so that I can watch the kids from the balcony with a beer in my hand and a smile on my face. (The smile starts the second I leave MKE and gets bigger every mile closer we get to WDW.

Have a great night everyone

Judy:wizard:

Hi Judy! We love BVC for the F&W Festival - there's no better place to stay in our book! You pick the night and we'll pick up a good bottle of wine or something and have a mini-meet at the hot tub. :thumbsup2

I was wondering if any of you have stayed at the port the night before the cruise. Any suggestions? We are driving in on the Friday night. I would like to leave my car at the hotel, so free parking/shuttle service is a plus. If not, have you ever taken a cab, and how much was it?

Our original plan was to stay in Jacksonville at the base, then head out on Sturday morning, but I am afraid of being delayed because of a traffic accident on I-95.....

One does hope my fellow UK Diss friends are all up and atem this Morning and not taking advantage of their children being out of school this week to have a sly lie in....:rolleyes1

ps...Thier are only 242 days left before we take up residence aboard Mick's floating play ground, with so much to do,so little time to do it.....:rotfl2:  :rotfl2:

PPS...Did Wayne return home?,has Lindy loo discovered the fresh "Bad girl was here" tattooed across his buttocksss (yes forest gump is one of my all time best films)or has someone done something like what we did back 1991 when we had a young man in our care for his stag do on the island of cyprus, firstly we dressed the boy as adolf Hitler then we went on to fill the lad up to the neck in local fizz before decided how nice it would be if we could find the poor chap a bed for the night.....Some 10 hours later we finally managed to get him to answer his mobile "hello, hello where the £$%^&* £$%^& am i"..your in Famagusta..."don't be daft i can't be that's in southern Cyprus were in the north"....we are your not.....:scared1: he spent the next 14 hours hiding in a old seller before creeping back across no man's land still dressed as adolf Hitler....:rolleyes1
