Good night all:wave2: .......oh and Nancy....no trying to sneek back into 3rd place now once I'm gone:lmao: - according to that list you have 4 posts to go;) ,...then we can both take on that "I'm not cruising with you anymore guy" and beat him out of 2nd place...who cares if he started the thread:p - only kidding Jeff - we love ya really :love2:

I didn't start this thread. That is that "I'm cruising with you guys but not going to post with you" guy - Steve.

By the way, he's sitting down at 38 posts.

Brenda I read on a previous post (still catching up on all of them) that 2 of your favorite 3 shows are The Daily Show and The Colbert Report....
Those 2 are my 16 (will be 17 on the cruise) year old DS Sean's favorites. He leans more toward The Daily Show, but if I watch anything with him I tend to find Steven Colbert much funnier.

My son has a very mature sense of humor. He can be a lot of fun if you can get him to talk at all.

Sounds like you both have great taste! :thumbsup2

Actually I agree with you - lately the Colbert Report has been more amusing. I'm beginning to think that the writers must be spening more time on that show than they are on the Daily Show...maybe because Colbert's is still fairly new and they want to make more of an impression with it. :confused3

I'm looking forward to Indecision 2008 with both shows on at the same time...that should provide some great laughs.

Sean says that other different people write for the Colbert Report but that Jon Stewart writes his own material. He thinks he's funnier but I disagree.

That WILL be great! I'm really rooting for Obama already:thumbsup2

woops, someone I tried to insert something in the middle of your quoted message and I screwed it up.
only the 2nd comment came out where I wanted it.

Off I go to BF Bandana Bob's to watch AI with him.
One of these nights I AM going to get him to post here.
I've already gotten him an avatar and countdown ticker.........

I'll check in later:wave2:

Ha! At least you have an excuse....I'm just like that all the time without medications. Now if I could be put on medication I could do much better.
My DS and I are both very ADHD, we've both been on and off meds and trying to do without for health reasons, but I swear I can't get anything done anymore, can't remember anything without writing it down.
Oh, well, luckily since my DS and I are so much alike we understand each other all too well.

Now, my poor BF.....he can't keep up with us. We drive him crazy.
Especially when we change subjects like every other moment.

My DS came home with a funny joke about it:
Q: "How many ADHD'ers does it take to screw in a lightbulb?"

R: "How many?"

Q: "HEY! Want to go ride a bike?????!!!!!!!"

OMG! I am sitting here :rotfl: . My DS is ADD and he often times does that! We'll be working on homework or something and out of the blue he brings up something way off topic. LOVE that joke! It is so true!

Oh now we see who "talks" the most! I cannot keep up with this thread. I'm gone for a few days and have like 100 pages to catch up on! Forgive me on our cruise if I have no clue who anyone is. I think I'll pop in every now and then and just post whatever comes to mind (taking a cue from DS), whether or not it has to do with any current topic of discussion. It is my mission in life to now go from near the bottom of the list to the top! :beach:

Dont we all! - I have been telling Ellis about that kids club for months! I want at least some time by the adult pool:cool1: Hopefully if they get together and make friends theres more chance of them staying in there:rotfl: Ellis is quite a quiet boy - I hope Zachary and Elouise dont beat him up!:rotfl:

How old is Ellis again? My ten-year old Teddy could possibly be a good match. Although I wouldn't call him quiet, he is very inquisitive and not very athletic (just like his poor mom!) He gets along with everyone. He would love to find someone other than his brother to go swimming.

Wine Diva-
My DS will be 8 on the cruise. He is a very happy-go-lucky personable kid, not shy in the least bit. He can make friends with a cardboard box if he has to. He loves to swim and is not very athletic either. How old will your DS be on the cruise?

Hey! what did I do to get trashed? I was just lurkin' here mindin' my own business.:upsidedow

BTW: I'm still on this cruise so ya'll have to just make room. :cool1:

Slipping...slipping...slipping

Are you guys all watching American Idol or something? :confused3

I'm just playing with ya Steve. O.K., on second thought, I guess I am trashing you. :lmao: Sorry about that.

Abby, don't worry about it. It is pretty simple to remember them.

The one that will be talking all the time.....Nancy

The one that will help you with your food choices.....Brenda

The one that is sleeping on a lounge chair up on deck because his wife kicked him out of the room.....Chris

The British lady with her hair pulled out because she's fed up with potential home buyers.....Karen

The one who has her baby always taken from her.....Cass

The one at the bar.....Linda

:lmao:

I'm just kidding everyone, so don't beat me up.

If you could though, if someone is doing the internet option, remember to post a picture of the group from your meet (whether it's Sunday morning or Saturday afternoon) on this thread so I can see you all having a good time.

Jeff, I will be doing a LIVE trip report with pics during my whole vacation, )just like the one I did in October 2005) starting October 9th so as long as no one objects, I can take a photo of our DIS meet and post it on my live thread.

Someone mentioned trying 4 or 5 times to go parasailing at Castaway Cay and had it cancelled due to the weather. I think they said they cruised in October then also.

We parasailed on our Nov 2005 western cruise and we want to do it again.

Is October really that bad of a time of year that we might miss our chance to do it again?

Scouter, that was me that tried to parasail! We've tried 5 times now and always it's been cancelled on us. For us, on CC, it was too windy. But the earlier parasailers got to do it so if you really want to do it I recommend doing it early in the day, which is what we are going to try to do this time!

Off to see if there is any new argle-bargling going on....:upsidedow

Hi Cass! :wave2:

Baby pics are soooo cute...my mean old heart just melts when I see them. :goodvibes

Just wanted to get my 1,900th post here on the konked thread. I can hear Jason now... "1,900 posts...do you ever let anyone get a word in edgewise?" :rotfl2:

Speaking of that little beauty....how 'bout another pic? She's too cute for you not to share! Can you tell I miss having a little one? Not enough to have another one, but I miss it anyway.

Y'all have a great night....Rob's home from studying, so we're off to watch 24. We're only on season 2, playing catch-up.....
