Paige, thanks for the Pm. My parents house pic came out ok from my end,( well i can see it ok?) its post number 3250. page 217. It was raining and its not a great picture. In fact my mum wanted to put out her plant pots before I took the photo.............. "to pretty up the house" !

Judy how nice that some of the kids can meet up before the cruise. It will definately make things so much fun for them by October.

Off to TRY and sleep now..... elouise is coughing and Wayne is snoring

ps...If anyone knows of anyone who's looking for a bed for the night am toying with the idea of renting out the gap between my side of the bed and Hazel's,it's warm,cosy and so big you could even have a friend stay over.....

Have you tried all the ususal to get into our good books again?
flowers, chocolate, wine, massage? That might close the gap in the bed?

If all else fails to impress, try cleaning or doing the ironing and telling her to rest. I KNOW Wayne is REALLY grovveling when he does this !

Afternoon everyone and welcome Winediva to our little family gathering.


I've been on Cruise Critic getting some info on what to pack for our Alaska cruise in May and everyone so far has suggested dressing in layers and waterproofing spray for shoes and raincoats.

Anyone got any ideas???

Not that we'll have this problem on the repo, will we Chris: lmao:

Another vote for Dreams and perhaps Fantasia (my fav movie!) or Sorceror.

ps...My little darling brought me in a chicken buttie the wife had made her and she gave it to me,if at any point you find the urge to hit or abuse me (i half expect it if am honest)during our cruise together for your own health and safely do it out of hear shot of my little Rottweiler,she don't take prisoners when protecting her papa......

Heather I would have no idea what to wear, but I do know on a serious note that layering is better at keeping you warm than bulky items. Would you need to wear sexy thermal vests?

Timon, I love the site you made with info and photos of some of our crew.
After I catch up and read all the 219 pages I'll post our photos too.

My DS will be 17 by the time we cruise...anyone else have an older teen?
Mine has a fun sense of humor, very smart, loves computers and game systems, but is not into sports.....he's a geek but a fun one.
I hope he'll find someone to hang with. Our last cruise he met up with 3swimmers daughter and they hung out together the whole cruise, hardly saw him except for meals or off the ship excursions.

Have to convice my boyfriend how much fun this is....he's thinking of all the money we're spending and talking about how many places we could visit in
Europe for that same amount......

Scouter, sorry my kids are 14, 12, and 7. Of course the DD14 thinks she's old enough for anything....she is, afterall, smarter than her parents!!
Sometimes, I worry about her being bored on the cruise, being in an "in between age", you know, just entering high school and all, but then I think Disney is for all ages.....Last cruise when the clubs were a little "young" and the teen club was a little "mature", she was perfectly happy with mac n cheese in the stateroom...She loved that she could order room service 24/7. We generally never order room service since it costs an arm and a leg.
