Booked AOA Car's Suite for 5 10/10-10/17 (with dining plan and tickets). Really hope something good comes out because I am suffering from a serious case of sticker shock!

We are looking to go Oct 9th to the 16th. The 12th is Columbus Day, I'm hoping to get a passholder or military discount. Does anyone know when the passholder discounts for that time will be released? Also can anyone tell me if Columbus Day is traditionally blacked out from discounts?

IDK if they're blacked out of discounts you mentioned, but last year it was pretty much impossible to get anything but rack rate during that week. We stayed at POR and I tried hard to find a RO to no avail. I think Disney is wise to a lot of schools being off that week.

My stepmother and stepsister are joining us to make a group of 3 adults and 4 kids. I'm looking at 2-bedroom villas. Would I be better off waiting for a Disney Visa code for Oct 3-9, or renting points for a villa?

I'd run the numbers with a 30% discount, but points will probably be cheaper. Probably limited availability with points now, but also no guarantee you could apply the discount.

Thanks for the reply, I may just wait for a discount since I was hoping for BLT, and that's likely rented by now. We may have to get 2 separate rooms and try for connecting.

I booked POFQ for October!!! I was happy to get a room only discount and I saved enough to pay for the dining plan (2 adults and 1 child). I also got my flights booked. Now I'm looking forward to dining reservations!!!

I'm not sure I found the correct site, but it had a page for agency exclusive offers which listed a bunch of different options. Does it sound like I'm in the correct place? If so how long does it normally take to hear back from them with a quote? Crossing my fingers for a good quote for our days at POFQ as well.

Joining in! We are heading down for F&W Oct 1 - Oct 5 (7adts and 4 "Disney" adts) and staying in multiple rooms at POR. We found great flights and now we're hoping for some kind of room discount!

I just got the quote back from the "magic Agency" and wow that is one amazing discount. I chose Beach club as a 2nd choice since this is a F&W focused trip just out of curiosity and the rate was so good(close to rack rate of POFQ) I might actually upgrade to a Deluxe for the trip!!! Only downfall is Dining plan can not be added, but I wasn't planning on added dining anyway.

That's why I went ahead and booked. I figure I can always cancel and rebook if the rate drops or there is a better package offered.

Joining in. We are booked at CBR 10/24-10/31. It's myself, DH, DD5, and are soon to arrive DD who will be about 6 months at the time. Also joining us is my mom and sister. We have 2 rooms booked. Just booked airfare last week and receiv ed our MNSSHP tickers in the mail over the weekend. I LOVE GETTING MICKEY MAIL! Hoping for some kind of discount and was hoping to move to a deluxe but I think we are going to stay where we are.to keep costs down as much as possible for this trip. It's been over a year since we have had a family vacation.

read somewhere today to be on the lookout 4/27 for Visa card members for a free dining promo, keeping my fingers crossed! I'd actually rather prefer room only discount but I'll take what I can get!!
