I am liking the 81 I am seeing for thr week we are there. Here's hoping it sticks.

So I shouldn't bother straightening my hair then, and just hope for the best with hair gel to keep my frizzies down? I look like a dandelion gone to seed in the humidity if I don't use anything in my hair.

I'm getting nervous now - if our BBB appointment for 2 kids for the works starts at 3:15 and our Goofy's dinner is at 5:25.... we SHOULD have enough time to get from point A (BBB) to point B (DLH), right? It's about an hour and a half for BBB and castle, and then we can take the monorail to DTD, or can we take it to DLH?

The monorail lets out right by rainforest cafe and then it's a little walk to the DLH. I think you should have enough time to get to dinner from BBB but I'm not 100% sure.

I am getting ancy!!! I have almost slipped several times and other family members have mentioned the big DL trip to my DD, but luckily, she wasn't paying attention.

I WANT TO TELL HER!!!! - *Sigh* - maybe keeping it secret was not the best plan, lol.

We are going to be there October 3-6. We have 2 day hoppers to use on 4th and 6th and we are going to the party on the 5th. It is me and my wife with our daughter (10) and son (12). We have not been in a few years it is going to be a blast! It is the first time that we have surprised the kids; we are not telling them until after my son's soccer game on Saturday morning when we drive over. It is about an hour drive to the game from our house and it is on the way to Anaheim, so we are just leaving straight from the soccer game. We have dining reservations all 3 days with the Fantasmic dinner package on Sunday. We have never seen F!, so that will be cool and we are just going to stay there to watch fireworks at RoA. It is our first time staying at the Alpine Inn.

Eeeek! I am beyond excited to be a part of this.

Our flight leaves in the wee hours on the 10th and we will be in the park on the 11th! DS is 9 & DD is 6, she is 1/2 an inch too short for California Screamin', hopefully we can find her some thick sandals while we're down there. We also have tickets to the Halloween party on the 14th - looking forward to it!

I know I seem excessively preoccupied with the weather, but I'm loving that the outlook for this weekend changed. 85 on Saturday and 75 with showers on Sunday. Saturday will be much better than the 98 I originally saw and Sunday is going to be pretty darned near perfect. So excited! Only a couple of days away!

I sure hope the weather changes for the Better for us too. Right now it's looking like it'll be high 80s to mid 90s while we're there. And coming from Phoenix it's not that bad, but it really messes up what I wanted to pack lol.

I've been hitting up the US online shopping, I know how close it is now I can do this! Can any of you local Americans recommend me any great shopping sites worth a peek? I had a great time on Amazon last night

What kind of items are you looking for? Amazon is really the only online-only store. There is ebay/half.com but they are not as cheap, and half.com has a much smaller inventory. Ebay can be fun to poke around in though. Most major stores have online shopping. JCP.com has a fair amount of Disney items, as does Target.com

Sneakers, Levi's Jeans are usually high on the list for our US trips. I have been snooping on Walmart, they have some nice Disney tees for the kids. I hope to venture over to one whilst I am there or Hawaii as I have never experienced Walmart. We are going to see some of the outlets, maybe Citadel and the ones near DL as well as Premium Outlets in Hawaii on the way home. I already have 2 packages on their way to GC, spending money slowly disappearing before I even leave the country

I hope to venture over to one whilst I am there or Hawaii as I have never experienced Walmart. We are going to see some of the outlets, maybe Citadel and the ones near DL as well as Premium Outlets in Hawaii on the way home. I already have 2 packages on their way to GC, spending money slowly disappearing before I even leave the country

Generally speaking, everything is cheaper on the US mainland compared to Hawaii...unless you are looking for products that are regional to Hawaii...in which case, purchasing those in Hawaii is less expensive than in California.

In other words, if you're looking for Hawaiian style clothing...sure, get those in Hawaii. For jeans, shoes, other clothing? Purchase those in CA.

WE ARE LEAVING TOMORROW MORNING!!!!! OMG I AM SO EXCITED!

It's supposed to rain in Disneyland on Sunday and Monday. GOOD! Maybe it will drive the locals away on Sunday. This will mean that we'll alter our touring plans a little bit so we go on the outdoor rides earlier in the day on Sunday.

I need to go to Walmart this evening and get 3 cheap rain ponchos. And I need to remember to pack a couple of umbrellas. And ODD's boots that she just received as a gift from my sister. And clothes for colder weather. We'll need pants & probably extra socks in case anybody's feet get wet.

2 weeks until we leave! We will be there the 18th to the 24th but since the airport is 2 hours away and our flight is super early we will go down early. After booking everything (back in January!) I realized DD has the 16th off so we could have gone down to DLR a day earlier. As it is, we will spend that day in Denver and maybe hit the aquarium (or the outlets, we'll see who wins that round ).

Try hottopic.Com they have stores, but online has tons more. Some great disney stuff. Just in the search type Disney. I know you can buy elsewhere, but shipping is outrageous.
