We are booked from 9/28-10/6 at CSR. I was going to go the week before Columbus Day, but the flights were more expensive so I adjusted our dates some. I bought plane tickets so we are locked in. Lol. This will be our first trip and I'm sooooo excited. My poor hubby thinks that once we go, I will "get it out of my system". Little does he know that I am trying to get him hooked... Can't wait!

Yeah, my poor hubby had no clue when we went to Disney for our honeymoon what he was getting himself into Eighteen years later and Lord only knows how many trips I think he has finally figured it out Luckily he loves me quite a bit and we have always had a great time so its been all good.

Taking my 14 year old grandson who is developmentally delayed october 8-13 and I myself have never been....he has no idea it's a surprise and I have to make sure I don't slip up before then....so excited....

Just found out that we will be definitely going in October! Very excited! Just waiting for my daughter and son in law to pick the dates...taking their 2 youngest, ages 10 and 11 who have never been before! I will fly out from the west coast and meet them there. I am probably more excited than the girls will be!!!:

We'll be there October 19-24, 1 bedroom Villa at the Grand Floridian. I first booked the BWI, then changed to the GF, then changed to the BLT, then to the VGF. Four adults and one two year old, the MK area was a better fit with my grandson. My daughter always wanted to stay at the GF, so after about a dozen trips, Poly, YC, and BW, we'll be at the VGF.

We'll be at Pop Century, Oct. 2-7. Doing Food and Wine, Tower of Terror 5K, MNSSHP, and meeting up with friends.

Count me in!! We are headed down Oct 25-Nov 1 at VWL. We went mid-November last year and got to experience MVMCP. Can't wait for F&W and MNSSHP this year! It will also be my little guys 5th birthday celebration! Can't wait!!

Everyone says if you book now and a discount (room only or free dining etc) comes out they will balance the difference. How do they do it if I pay it off in full? ( I hate credit card debt) would they send me a Mickey Mouse check? Or if its paid off so I get like a future credit?

You put down $200, I think on a package with your CC. Balance in full due I believe 45 days prior. We had several changes on our package the time before last because we booked so far in advance, several different deals came out. We were able to change no problem. I wouldn't pay until you have to, just do the deposit, that's just me. I know the peace of mind with paying in full. Just set that money aside, then you don't have to deal with a credit on your card if that concerns you.

We are hoping for Oct 18-25 or maybe even the week after that one. DH job situation giving us fits! I love October. Hope to be at POR, we love it there, but thinking maybe MK resort...who knows!

Fairly new to the DIS. . .have been reading posts for awhile but just started posting today. Glad to find this group so as to have some people to count down with (DH does not get as excited as I do and DDs are too young to start counting down at this point)!

Finalizing our plans but looking at October 16-23, maybe doing our first split stay! Or might just stay at ASMusic for the whole trip because even though it's a Value, the fam loves it. . . .

Can't wait!

We will be taking our first trip to WDW as a family of 3! Our newborn daughter will be 9 months at the time of our trip. Sooo excited to share our love of disney with her. We are going from oct 17 until the 27th and are staying at AKL GV's. Only 204 days to go!

We were originally planning on going October 27 to November 3 however, things have changed for us. We have booked October 20 to 28 and also crossing fingers for free dining. We have already booked our flights and got a fantastic deal so things are all set. Now just have to wait for our 180 day mark to book dining and our 60 day mark for our FP+. Woo Hoo, we are going to Disney again!
