the dates are set and not likely to change at this point:

The likely dates included are:
August 31 - October 3
October 26 - November 1
November 9 - November 20
December 12 - December 23

do you have any flexibility to change dates?
The e-mail from Chase usually does not arrive until later in the day, if ever.

most up to date info will be posted here:

I'm curious...where did we get the dates? Are they released to travel agents?

They just seem a little weird to me. October 26th is a Sunday, so is November 9th. That REALLY sucks for anyone that checks in from Saturday to Saturday those weeks. It seems that Disney would want to encourage people to at least spend 7 nights instead of 6. And why would they end on a Thursday (November 20)?

I'm sure it all make sense somewhere. They set the dates for a reason.

On FB they were saying the dates were leaked by a Brazillian TA, and that the Brazillian offer always mirrors the US general public offer. I might be biased because I REALLY want Oct. 20 to be included...but I don't feel completely sold. In the past, we thought that 3rd week in October was *always* included, that the GP offer *always* came out quickly after the DV offer, and that there were *always* two waves of FD offers -- late summer and Fall. It seems this is all expected to change...so if these changes are coming, who's to say that Disney will also stay consistent with the Brazil-offers-are-the-same-as-US-offers thing? :confused3

Oh, well, we will be going either way :)

I am not at all surprised that the blackout was extended in October. Crowds were much heavier that week last year, and several school districts have added fall breaks this year. As for the early release, it is quite possible that Disney is trying to lock people in to a Disney stay now because of the new stuff opening at Universal later this summer. I am confident that these will be the offer dates, but nothing is official until it goes live. The South American offers are the US offers, and the last several leaks have originated there.

We are going October 10-13, 2014. Hoping we can attend Halloween party on Friday the 10th. does anyone know when those tickets go on sale?

164 days....:cool1:

I've been hearing tix go on sale around May 1st. After reading the buzz today about FD coming out that day I was wondering if they would do both on the same day.

Anticipated ticket date is May 5.

Same here. We re going Oct 18 - 25th and no FD for those dates. Want to cry. Don't know if I should hold out for a discount that might come through or change my dates. I really hate to push this back another week . Anyone know if room discounts come through later in the summer for dates not included in the FD?

So...I'm really bummed. I already booked my vacation at Pop including airlines for a October 25-October 31 based on historical free dining dates. Of course, free dining starts on the 26th this year.

Last year we booked Pop and upgraded to the disney dining plan which was equivalent to a savings of $331 dollars for the dining plan (5 night/6day) I'm trying to figure out if it would be financially worthwhile to call back and change my package reservations to October 26-31 with the free dining upgrade to the regular plan and book a separate room/park ticket for October 25, knowing that we will be paying out if pocket for our ADR at Coral Reef.

It it only saves us about $100, I'm not sure it's worth the hassle of checking out/checking in again....

If a RO discount comes out for my dates eventually, am I able to apply that to my current reservation?

Sorry, I normally work with a travel agent..I know some of these seem like elementary questions.

Thanks in advance for your help!

No Kidding! We're booked Oct. 18-24 and I thought for sure we were far enough away from the holiday weekend that we'd get FD. We've already booked flights and our rooms for 18 of us...the FD was expected to be a substantial savings...now do we hold out for a RO discount or try and organize 4 families to reschedule...I'm so pissed right now.

Not feeling very Magical.:furious:

One of our party (6 adults, 3 children) had a PIN code, and it covers October 19th-25th. We fly in on th 18th, so we are doing a RO that night and then we got free dining for that week. So, call and ask if any of the 18 of you have PIN codes. We didn't get an email, I called and asked about it and found out that way. It was a great surprise yesterday! There is still hope for you, just give them a call! And, if you don't have one now, keep calling back. PINs go out in waves. Crossing my fingers for you! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the tip jcyoung. I just called WDW (used 407-560-CHAT and got through immediately) and the CM went through all 4 of our reservation codes to check and see but no PIN for anyone at this time. This is my 3rd trip in 5 years and I've never got a PIN...I must be doing something wrong! Fingers crossed for either an extension to the FD dates or else a RO code sometime soon.
