October 2013!

We will be going October 18 -24. It will be DH & I and our 4 kids ages 12, 10, 8 and 5. My MIL will also be going with us. While we are there we will celebrate my DD's 5th birthday on the 23rd. We are so excited!!

93 days to go!!!! Offsite town house booked, so now the 90 days game of watching car rental prices begin :)

SOOO EXCITED!!! First ever trip to Disney for myself & my daughters (4 & 6). Can't wait! We're heading there the end of October :) :) So happy to have found this thread. There is so much to do!! Feeling overwhelmed. Disney halloween here we come! I was wondering though...is swimming still possible by that time? I'm from Canada...we're usually wearing snowsuits by Halloween. I would like to spend some time pool side...any advice?

Welcome!!!! :)

We are also Canadian and while I have been to Disney many times, this will be our first time going in October. I'm pretty darn sure you will be able to swim in the pool (because the days) will still be hot.

Hope you love Disney as much as we do! :goodvibes

Now it's official! :woohoo: I see you are from Buffalo. Do you have a particular airline that you usually use? We flew out of Buffalo last year for the first time and loved it.

Yep, from Buffalo! Where are you from? I usually always fly Southwest...fair prices, free checked baggage, and always great customer service!

We are from Toronto. We used AT last year. We are using AT again for our August and October trip and we are finally trying SW in December.

I know what you're thinking.....crazy people booking 3 Disney trips between August and December. Yep, that's us!

Crazy? Heck no! You'd be crazy if u didn't like Disney, lol. Most of my family is crazy!

I've got a few trips close together myself. Disneyland Paris in early October, WDW in late October, and WDW again in January. Not to mention I just got back from WDW last month and 2 Disney cruises in March & May :-). Unfortunately, this is a rare cluster of Disney trips. Usually it's 2/yr max.

I hit double digits today! Woo hoo! I think we're going to tell the kids next week, I can't stand them not knowing anymore. :)

I also hit double digits today also. Taking my DGD for her fifth birthday.

We've told her. However, we talked today and all she talked about was a ing her birthday party at Chuck E Cheese.

Ouch. She'll eventually learn WDW is so much cooler.

 Sorry. I hope everyone is okay. Look at the bright side, though. Next October, all of Fantasyland will be complete, and the magic bands, FP+ and the new mug system will be up and running with all of the kinks worked out. :goodvibes
