October 2013!

75 days to go!!! Itinerary done...outfits planned...F&W menu items picked...ADR booked (BOG score!)...the wait is killing me. How do you pass the time waiting?

Anybody have tips on planning our itinerary? I used the unofficial guide last time, which I loved. That was 2010, I'm looking for a more iPhone or disboard type approach with sample plans like The unofficial guide. Suggestions??

I love Touringplans.com For $10 for a yearly membership you get crowd calendars and wait times, sample touring plans, but best of all personalized touring plans. I put in beginning and ending time for a park on our dates, what we would like to see and do, when and where we want to eat, and it runs a computer simulation to tell you the best order to do it all. You can even adjust it for how fast you want to travel and if you prefer less wait or less "mileage". I run multiple scenarios to come up with the ones I like the best. It's amazing how much changing just a few little details can impact the whole day.

That sounds awesome:) Is touring plans and the unofficial guide related in any way? I've seen a couple things that indicate they may be, but I was unsure. I got the touring plans app which I plan to explore.

Yes they are. The same team created both the touring plans on the book and on the website. Buy the book, and you receive a nice discount on touringplans.com.

Was it a pin for the LM room?

Hi,

The pin was for 20%, 25% and 30%. The pin did not include AoA, GF villa or treehouses.

I had paid for 1 night full price to stay at AoA, LM room :)

Now, we wait :hourglass

Thanks! This is a small trip, so paying it off wasn't too bad, but it is very nice to see that zero and know that money will not keep us from the Mouse! :)

:cool1: Just

 booked

:yay: our

:dance3: trip!!!!

For the first time, we will visit Disney World for the 2nd time in a year. We did Disney World and Disneyland in the same year before but...

This is gonna be a great vacation : Food & Wine Festival, MNSSHP and MVMCP!

Can anyone tell me if the Festival is worth going 2 days or just 1 day? We are trying to decide how many days we want to go, I was just thinking 1 day was enough. We don't have any premium events planned in advance.

Thanks!

My DH and I will be in WDW 10/15-10/17 for F&WF and then (fingers crossed) a trip on DCL for a belated 10th anniversary trip. :cheer2: Saving up to hit every booth :hyper: We'll be staying at OKW for the first time.

I'll readily admit that I didn't look through the entire thread, so what are folks doing about MDE? Anyone hear anything if we need to be on the lookout to schedule our FPs? :confused3

Just added a night so now we will be arriving on the 28th of October and staying through the 6th of November stayin at AKV savannah view!:thumbsup2

One question we are going to MNSSHP on the 1st is there anything to do for Halloween if we are not going to the party?

:goodvibes:dance3: thinking about our trip tonight!!!!!! Still not sure which night to purchase our tickets for? popcorn::

I would like to go on the least busy night. My DD uses a wheelchair so crowds are hard for her to get around. She is looking forward to the party!!!

I'm going to WDW from 1st October to the 16th October. DH and I always go in October to take part in the food and wine fest and MNSCHP. We love to dress up for Halloween and we love taking thousands of photos. DH loves the food and wine so he can drink all the ales you lovely Americans get and we love to try all the different offerings at each country. October is the best time for a young couple to go WDW mainly because its usually freezing in England!

This year we've even teamed our trip with TOT 10 miler which we have never done before so we can't wait! Also this year we will be celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary so its extra special :cool1:

Just made it official and I'm so excited!! I'll be there from October 21-30th. Might do MNSSHP and might do a night of HHN also. :drive: EEEEEK!!!

Ready to hit the parks now, but psyching up by watching some Disney vids in the interim. We'll be there Oct. 26- Nov. 2. Excited to be hitting F&W, and doing MNSSHP.
